This was surprisingly good. The salmon in my dinner was tender and flavorful. The broccoli was delicate without being limp and very lightly buttered. The crispy Brussels sprouts had sweetness without being cloying. Even the bread was good - hearty and flaky and not tough. My wife particularly enjoyed her steak filet. Came here Monday after work, was pretty busy but got sat right away. The waitress was super nice and friendly and place was clean. I ordered the 6oz filet medium and it was cooked to perfection. My spouse and I just left the 14 mile location. We walked in @5:05 pm on Friday Nov, 15,2024. The dirty looks we received at the greeters desk weee unbelievable. We got seated at a booth, then the server K D N didn't greet us until 5:18pm. We got our food faster than anticipated so now we have appetizers and main course on the same table. Our server came back once to check on us, and a different person refilled my water once. Then out of the blue, K D N came by, dropped off boxes and a the bill. (Didn't offer deserts, coffee or anything). So we gathered our stuff and went to the front to pay (I didn't want to use my card at the table). Then asked the greeter ( a guy with glasses, beard and very nasty attitude) if I could pay up front. He replied rudely, you have to pay at the table. So I guess the restaurant doesn't accept cash anymore? I paid online and had to ask for a bag for my boxes. In conclusion, this is the worst location I have been to, never coming back here. Last night my grandson and his girlfriend were here from out of town so we took them for steak dinner. The girlfriend ordered the sirloin and it was so tough she couldn't even chew it! I ended up giving her half of my 9 0z filet I told our waiter and she offered another sirloin but we we almost done eating by then. She wouldn't bring the manager and never took it off our bill which was 160 or so!! It was unfortunate that a chain so well known would have done nothing. We came to celebrate my son's birthday. Upon the waitress greeting us her energy was bland. She kind of rushed us to order. She was not ever tentative. Very knowledgeable about the menu; she recommended the hot spinach Parmesan dip that was large enough for three people to share. The toasted/chewy pita triangles were the very tastiest I've ever had. This dip is fabulous! My filet with loaded baked potato was delicious. Note: they are heavy handed with seasoning so bare that in mind. The menu selection was small and prices on the high side. We're comparing to our favorite steakhouse which is Texas Road House. We miss the endless buttered bread Roadhouse has. I really wanted to like this place. We eat at Texas Roadhouse often and I thought it would be a nice change. A place slightly upper scale. Our first impression when we walked in is that it was SO cold. I had to borrow my husbands hoodie and I was still cold. Used the restroom and it was an icebox. COLD toilet seat, not pleasant. Our waitress was okay. Not super attentive though. The food was where I was really disappointed. My steak, a ribeye, was very thin. Less than 1/2 inch. And it was excessively seasoned. Something spicy and overpowering, very close to blackened,to the point that you couldn't even taste the meat. And it was fried, not grilled, which I personally find unappealing. The sides were kind of bland and unimpressive. The entire experience was disappointing and we definitely won't be back. If you're a fan of Texas Roadhouse you may not like Longhorn. read more
