Wonderful service! We always love the bread and mentioned to our waitress that we'll probably be asking for more soon. Within minutes we received our second loaf. Actually the waitress was available to request things like more butter, drinks, etc. The eating area was very comfortable with plenty of room. Not good this Friday night. Service was average but we had issues with the food. Our bread was warm but something had flattened it out (like something was on top of it and squished it down). Firecracker shrimp had lots of shrimp but they were tiny. Side salads were excellent. My steak came out raw and they took it back and cooked it a little more. They brought me back the same steak I had taken a bite out of! Never seen this done before - who co-mingles food a customer had access to with the rest of the grill? Not a good practice, just make another one correctly. The corn was decent but not worth the up charge. My wife's rib eye was not very thick and overly fatty and grisly. Overall not the best experience and we will look elsewhere on Friday evenings. It's always too crowded and parking could be better. Probably worth the drive up to the Roadhouse especially since they have a wait list online. Time to put this Longhorn out to pasture for good. read more

Pro: big parking lot, nice interior, friendly staff, Con: no online reservations service. Came here for a family member birthday on the weekend and let me tell you that this place was very crowded. We had people waiting in the wait area and outside the door. This is why I wish longhorn had an online reservation service. My party of 5 came at around 5 pm and after checking in we waited for about 15 minutes before being seated. Our server Meghan was very friendly and always made sure to check in so that our needs were taken care of. The interior was very clean, modern, and had some country music playing in the background. For appetizer, we order the spicy chicken bites and the tonion. The chicken bites combine with that spice sauce pack an explosion of flavor and was my favorite when compared to the tonion. For the entree, I ordered the New York strip which only come in a 12 oz cut with a side of fries + broccoli. The fries were crisp while the broccoli felt like they were cooked to death with how mushy it was. The steak were cooked to medium rare and tasted not bad. All in all, I had a great time with my friend and family and would only come here for future special occasion due to the high price of the food. read more

We arrived at around 745 on a Friday night and expected a wait due to how packed the parking lot was. The hostess said it would be about 25 minutes for a table for two. We waited roughly 20 minutes before receiving the text that our table was ready. We were seated at a booth and while the table was clean, the floor certainly was not. I had kicked a fork out from under my feet and wiped off the booth seat. Although, because of how busy they were, this did not bother me much. We were greeted rather quickly by our waiter, Mitch. I could immediately tell from his greeting that he was going to give us great service and he did not disappoint! He was very professional, friendly, and seemed to be flourishing in this face paced environment, while constantly checking in and keeping us informed. For drinks, I got sweet tea and my husband ordered a draft miller lite.The tea and bread came out rather quickly but we did have to wait a few minutes on the beer. I could tell the bar was busy, so we had no complaints there. I was surprised at how perfectly sweet the tea was. We started with the parmesan spinach dip. My husband ordered a burger, medium well, with the new flame grilled street corn as a side. I ordered the 6 oz. filet, medium rare, with a side salad and a baked potato. I had quite a few modifications and was worried about the kitchen getting them all correct. I had confidence in Mitch. I was very happy with how our food came so incredibly spaced out. We had plenty of time to munch on some bread before the appetizer came. After we finished chowing down on the appetizer, my salad came and a few minutes after finishing the salad, our entrées arrived. I was pleased to see that all of my accommodations had been met. Props to the kitchen, and to Mitch, for being able to meet these changes when being so busy! I was also incredibly pleased when I cut into my steak. It was a pristine medium rare! My husbands burger was also cooked to perfection. We haven't had a meal this tasty in months. We enjoyed every bit of our experience here, even when receiving the bill. I had the gloppy corn and lobster chowder which wasn't hot enough. Next a salad , just ok. Petite filet ( Flo) looks like 4 oz not the advertised 6 oz. Onion soup had too much bread and my guest said it was bland. Meats seamed to be cooked to temperature.cheesecake was a weird ( probably frozen) I molded ball thing. Too dry and not very wonderful. I really have to find the recipe for their bread because it's always so good! Moving in I asked for a lychee martini and got a dirty martini! Took one sip and said nope! They spicy chicken bites was delicious and I forgot the sauce it came with but it was a type of Asian sauce and it was so good. Their burgers are pretty huge so I shared half with my daughter but it was nice and tasty and exactly the correct temperature we wanted. Overall I try to go here at least twice a year. read more

After a second bad experience at my standby, Outback, we decided to defect to another fast food steakhouse. But this one was much better than I expected. Typically very busy, but just call ahead, and they will text you when your table is ready. Promptly seated on a busy Friday night after about a 15-minute wait. Our server was very pleasant and prompt. Started out with a side salad, perfect size. Had their spicy chiken bites as an appetizer, and they were great with just the hint of a kick. They've been a bit hit and miss since COVID, but on the whole they're still a good choice for a nice juicy tender steak. There are enough choices to please practically everyone, the staff is reasonably attentive, and the prices are (or were - haven't been recently) not totally outrageous. They will cook to your specifications, but mind how you phrase them - "very rare" will usually produce satisfactory results, but don't exaggerate or you may get a steak that has been scared by the picture of a match! :-) read more

Won't be returning. The service was SO SLOW. The waiter didn't check on us not once. Literally took our order and dropped off the food and never came back. We had to flag him down to get the check which took another 10 minutes. It was literally early afternoon, not busy at all. As for the food, it was alright. The salads were fresh, lamb chops were cooked perfectly medium well-well, right down to the baked potatoes tasting fresh. We have only ate 7 restaurants since moving to Winchester last year (Texas Roadhouse, Everest, The Rancho Mexican, Outback, Carrabbas, Poblanos Mexican Grill, Cracker Barrell ). This food ranked in our top 3 dine in tasting experiences and we will return soon. Went to Longhorns tonight for the first time in a long while. Longhorns is always our go to steakhouse. We have never had a bad meal there but tonight wellllllthat changed! I ordered the 8 oz Renegade Sirloin , medium, baked sweet potato, just butter. The steak was very undercooked and tough, the sweet potato was cold. I didnt send it back becuz ive watched too many horror movies about sending back your food. I told the waitress about it, she sends the manager back who has a baked sweet potato in a to go tray as an apology for the meal. LOL!! My husband was her saving grace tonight bcuz had it been me with anyone but my husband i wouldve told her where she couldve stuck that sweet potato. A simple gift card or monetary reimbursement on the check would have been the professional thing to do. Dont stick a dam sweet potato in a to go tray as an Im sorry this happened to your meal bullshit!. Needless to say i left the potato on the table when i left. The manager was dressed like an oversized oomp loompa anyways and i knew she didnt have an ounce of managerial experience in her so didnt really expect much more from her. Made a reservation online and once at the door to check-in, realized that the party was wrong, however the front hostess quickly made the change and informed us I would receive a text once our table was ready. Shortly after checking in, I received the text, so sent one of our two handicapped people in our party to go ahead, while I was waiting for the second one to manage his walker. Once inside, the host informed me where he had sat the first handicap person, and it was a table where we all could comfortably sit and not be in the way to place the walkers. Our waiter had already visited our first member of the party, and had taken her beverage order and was just delivering it when the rest of the party showed up. Derrick was so friendly and knowledgeable, he made everyone feel so welcomed and that we were the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered our beverages and an appetizer, which was promptly brought out, and then continued with the rest of the ordering of our meals. Two in our party had ordered the chopped steak, two had ordered the filet mignon, and one ordered a rib-eye. All with a side salads and vegetables. As we ate our cold, crisp salads, and finished on the complimentary bread, as well as the onion ring plate, our meal was brought out and each dish looked just as delightful as the next. Not a single plate went back with anything on it, and our drinks continued to flow. I would love to go back to this place next time I'm in for a visit. Just sorry I did t take any pics of the great food. Only part that was disappointing was one patron chose to to a video chat on his loud speaker during his dining experience and everyone around him could hear his entire conversational well as the other person on the line. I was craving a good steak after the horrible steak that I received at the Dulles Airport restaurant Firkin & Fox so I made it a priority to come to a LongHorn Steakhouse the next night. I was not disappointed. I ordered the 12 ounce NY Strip Steak and mashed potatoes. It was fantastic! My server brought out all of the food on time and everything from the bread to the salad with bleu cheese and main entree steak with mashed potatoes was delicious. This is the perfect stop for dinner when you're traveling through Winchester Virginia. The property is clean and neat and professional. Our server Zack was so friendly, Knew the menu inside and out and made perfect recommendations for our group. Steak houses seem to be disappearing but this steakhouse is definitely here to stay. We had the ribeye steak cooked perfectly, the seven pepper sirloin salad and the rib Sandwich. We all raved about the flavors, the portions and the presentation. We only wish they hadn't run out of Pinot Grigio to accompany our dinners. But the ice cold beers they had on tab worked just fine. This is probably the third Longhorn Steakhouse we've visited in the past year and I must say, somewhat surprised, that they're pretty good and consistent in the service, food taste and quality, and the cleanliness and décor of each location. The prices are reasonable for what you get steakwise, and everything else on the menu we've tried has been very, very good. At this visit we sampled their 12oz Renegade Top Sirloin, 6oz Filet with RR Shrimp with corn on the cob, Grey Goose Martini, 8oz Smoky Double Bacon Sirloin with asparagus and it was all excellent. Each item was brought out exactly as ordered, temperature, juicyness, tenderness and quality! We'll keep checking them out occaisionally as I recommend you might.
