Stopped here after hours on the road and this Denny's is always a safe bet. Our server , Terri M was great! She was on point even while juggling like 10 tables. Even with 2 babies at another table screaming their heads off she never lost her patience, had a smile the whole time. She was SO nice under pressure we put a compliment in to Denny's corporate, she deserved it. My wife had the bourbon chicken sizzler which she REALlY enjoyed (I tasted the sauce WOW), and I had the salmon entree with wild rice and broccoli . Was very filling & the price on both was very reasonable. The restaurant was fairly crowded for a weekend brunch rush . But we got served and were able to get back on the road pretty quickly. I'm going cross country and landed here at the Quality Inn that had amazing reviews. It's 9pm and Dennys is attached... I figure why not. Live dangerously.... Uh, ya... too dangerously!! I ordered the grand slam. 2 eggs over medium, hash browns and 2 slices of bacon. Also an order of 4 more slices of bacon and 2 buttermilk pancakes. I was hungry. What I received: hash browns, check. 2 eggs over hard. Cremated!! 2.5 slices of bacon. One was 2" long so it's a half. The other 3 were way shorter than I've ever seen at any restaurant! And it wasn't close to the 6 full slices I ordered. My pancakes were cooked on high with way too much oil. Like. Tipsy edged rubbery pancakes. I don't know who's cooking or teaching these people to cook but it was terrible. I regret coming here... and unless I'm stranded will never partake in a Denny's meal ever again. Ever. read more

Not many customers when I came in. Ordered baked lasagna and it was told to me that the oven would have to be preheated as it had not been used all day prior to my 5pm arrival. Both ends of the baked dish were toasted so hard they were inedible. Overall the flavor of what I did eat was good. A customer next to me relayed a complaint about undercooked salmon. The pancakes are the best and their breakfast as a whole is extremely good! The new waffles and cinnamon hush puppies are very good as well! And not a bad price either, the build your own slam is a great deal the brownie sundae is sooo good! Great service. Cute diner feel. read more

First time at a Denny's in a very long while. My husband and I were in the mood for a big breakfast. We were in VA for our anniversary and planning to walk the trails and watch the majestic mountains for our daily activity so we needed sustenance. Our server was very personable, sharing tidbits about her residence in the area and having come from my side of town. I switched out my hash browns for home fried red potatoes and OMG they were delicious! Easily my favorite part of my lumberjack breakfast. Not bad at all considering Denny's can be hit or miss. read more

Honestly, not much has changed about Denny's since I was a kid eating their grand slams, and I am glad it hasn't changed. Now I take my kids here for breakfast and we all enjoy the grand slams together. The seasoned red potatoes are cooked to perfection. The eggs, no matter how you have them cooked, are outstanding. The sausage and bacon is delicious and juicy. We are very pleased with the taste and service every single visit to this Denny's location. The customer service provided by this restaurant is always top-notch and incredibly friendly. Our family appreciates the hard work the employees put in to make this place so desirable. The good: Surprisingly decent food and satisfying, large portions. I had an omelet with toast that was more I could eat and I was stuffed for hours. Plus, a large menu and very low prices. The bad: I tried out the iced cold brew coffee this time, which was very watered down and not so good. Locals ruin my general good feeling about the Denny's franchise. Frequently heard a manager chewing out an employee, and in some cases, whaling on an ethnic minority (makes sense, it's the South). Waiting took forever. I hear from a cook later that some of the cooks (on the job) were high on drugs, which makes sense. I have those in my area near the West side, USA: I call them dope-heads. It takes dope-heads an hour to make a simple 5 minute meal. This didn't bother me so much as learning that the same dope-heads have an incredibly high opinion of themselves as workers in the Denny's franchise. And some cooks just stole or pilfered the food they were supposed to serve to the customers, myself included (they were local, though one was from OR; Sheryl something, annoying red hair with the obnoxious loud voice). This made the wait super-offensive, knowing the customers' food (myself included, possibly) was being actively stolen by the cooks that were supposed to serve it. Cops nearby are corrupt; they know the drug-problems among Denny's staff members at this location; there's no way on earth they're that dim or easily fooled. I'm not the most perceptive person at times - due to hearing impairment - but even I could see and recognize signs of drug-abuse in this place. I'm sure there are good people in the area. I just didn't meet them at the time I was passing through. To top it off, some young couples kept popping in on my private dining experiences, and grinning like jackals (also high as a kite; they were Jeffrey and Cari something. Here's a tip: please stop bugging customers, myself included). Denny's used to be synonymous with private, but pleasant dining experiences, but its own staff and other regulars managed to gaff this up, royally, big-time. They think they're incredibly entitled to other people's times, my own included. I haven't been to Denny's in years due to a pure lack of respect among its members in one franchise location and a lack of consideration for customers, myself included. I felt a bit alienated from the fine dining experience by staff members which is one thing a hospitality business should never do to a customer. If Denny's wants to make it up to me, it can stop leasing out its name (some franchise owners are ruining its reputation among some customers). Denny's franchises are notorious for staffing its members with dicks, dope-heads, and bottom-of-the-barrel worst-level incarnations of humanity. read more

I haven't been to a Denny's in years. Mostly because we move away from the area they service. However we found ourselves looking for a breakfast place and chose Denny's. I'm glad we did the service was outstanding and the food was was really pretty good. I was even impressed by the bill it was the least costly breakfast I have had in a while. Denny's is really good breakfast joint that also serves lunch and dinner. They have been around forever and their breakfast menu is massive. The breakfast food is really good, they are experts here. The dishes are perfectly cooked and delicious. They are very competitive with other breakfast chains. Coffee is excellent. Indont usually go to Dennys for anything but breakfast but I have tried them in the oast for late night night hunger or lunch. The food is generally good and well prepared, more on a diner type level. No expensive and lits of choices. Service is hit or miss, but generally pretty good. read more

We are regulars at this particular Dennys. Service is always great for us. We typically find ourselves here on Friday Nights or Saturday Mornings. The restaurant was recently renovated and still looks brand new inside, nice and clean. Parking spots outside are a little small, but it is what it is. For food, the menu pretty much stays the same, and every season they modify a page or two. Nachos, Salted Carmel Banana Pancakes, Gluten Free English Muffin are our favorites. Recently remodeled. We stopped in for a quick meal after checking at the Days Inn attached to it. The meal was delivered quick and was standard for Denny's. Was disappointed in portion size of the fries. And we ordered 2 appetizers for and we got the jake pen bottle caps and chicken fingers. We got just 2 pieces of chicken. We got a bunch of the bottle caps and I loved em. Fried jalapeño slices. Can't go wrong with that. Waitress was new. But did well and was very nice. read more
