Slow service for maintenance, expect long wait times even when the place is virtually empty. 3 hr wait for something that should take 30 minutes. They said there's only 1 car in front of mine but there are actually 5. Prices for maintenance are exorbitantly expensive. $200 for a 20,000 mile service. If i wasn't leasing I'd take it to Firestone where I can get in and out for $20 in 20 minutes like I do with my other car. read more

This is neither for the Service or Sales Department but an employee by the name of Eric Garcia. He is a Lexpert that drove to our home to refresh our memory on the features of our loaded RX450-HFsport. We already had our orientation about the features when we picked up the car last December but believe me, this car has so many bells and whistles that we practically forgot more than half of it. Eric was so thorough answering our questions and methodically demonstrating the features inside and out that it took him over 2 hours. But those 2 hours saved us more hours if we were to read the owners manual ourselves to figure the gadgetry. Kudos to Eric and wishing him the best when he gets promoted to sales. read more

Review is for the Service Department. The service here is always the best. I have been to Jim Faulk and Santa Monica and haven't received the full care and attention that I do here at Longo. Melinda and Mark are both great service coordinators. This past weekend I had 85k mi service, a sensor replaced, iphone adapter installed, and a full detail done. It was really quick. I dropped off the car and was out of there within a half hour. Most of wait time was waiting for loaner car-only because I waited for the last hybrid to get washed. I received phone calls about the car and work being done as they were working on it. Dropped the car off Thursay afternoon and it was ready by Friday evening. Great job! Detail shop-They have a special right now for a full detail. The car looks great. Swirls in the paint are gone and the car is really smooth to touch. The car looks new again. Thanks Longo! read more

This is not a review for the typical show-up-on-the-lot-and-get-sold experience. My experience was with Gary Littleton, the fleet manager. I got my price at CarsDirect (another good experience) and learned the car was at Longo Lexus. I scheduled an appointment to meet Gary at the lot. When I showed up, the car was already pulled up out front, exactly as it looked in the pictures and with the exact amenities described. The price was exactly as was negotiated through CarsDirect. Took a test drive with Gary. Super informative. Super personable. Great human being. Answered all of my questions. Didn't try to sell me one extra thing. During the application process (took all of 5 minutes), he brought me water bottles and a Dr. Pepper. We talked football. I couldn't take the car then because I drove myself, and had no way to get my old car home. So he said that they would drive it to my office the next business day and I could finalize the paperwork then. As promised, they showed up, on time, with my new car and a full gas tank. I braced myself for an hour and a half of paperwork and them pushing the Rust Protector Prime Kit Supreme - but neither happened. They were in and out in 10 minutes. They took time to show me all the cool dials and functions in the car again. Really great experience. If I stay in the Lexus family for my next car, I'll definitely be heading back. read more

Yesterday, I had the most pleasant experience I've ever had in purchasing a new car at Longo Lexus. My salesperson, George Kantanto, is very friendly, knowledgeable and patient in helping me find the car with the specific color and package. Compare to my previous buying experience at other car dealerships, the negotiation process was a breeze. I didn't feel any pressure to buy and George does not waste time haggling back and forth. He shows me the invoice price upfront and gave me a very fair deal considering that this is a 2013 model. George even went further to help me on my trade in to keep the monthly payments within my budget. After completing the paperwork, George patiently go over the key features of the car, and answered all my questions. What impresses me the most is that George meticulously checks your car for scratches and make sure everything is in good condition. This place is as good as a Lexus Dealership gets. I tried a few times to buy a car here but they just didn't have quite what I was looking for. I ended up buying one in Beverly Hills. They do,however, have an incredible facility. I just had my car serviced here and the customer service was exceptional. Their service department is huge. Was in the market for a new car and was interested in the '14 Lexus IS. A friend referred me to Longo because of their great service and large selection. My friend was not kidding. I decided to stop by just to check it out and look at the options that were available. We were helped right away by Felix Giles. Other Lexus dealerships would tell us to come down and then the car would be sold! Wth is that?! However, Longo had located a car for us and were very happy to price match with a car that we missed out on. Leo was happy show us the car that seemed to be unavailable. We moved through the deal a bit to fast, and it seemed a little aggressive. Usually at other dealerships we aren't too pressured to do much. At that time, we worked with Elise Fong (she is still with Longo but in Finance Department now). It was such wonderful experiences then and this motivated us to contact them when we need another Lexus car this time. To begin my car search process this time, I sent my initial inquiry to the sales manager - Lawrence Tiang, and he introduced us with a sales consultant - Christopher Wu to work with us. Here are the highlights: 1. Inquiry Responding: I am very impressed with how fast Lawrence answered our inquiry. He responded my inquiry within 10 minutes (which was in the after-hours) after I sent him the email. This is far more responsive than most other Lexus dealer could do. 2. Price Competitiveness: I did my research on the pricing before I contacted Longo Lexus. I also sent several emails to other Lexus dealers in Orange, LA, Riverside and San Diego counties. Let me just say that this is the best car buying experience I've ever had. Anthony was incredibly friendly, patient and helpful. In addition, he was super efficient. Finance department was also very professional and efficient - not trying to push you into buying additional warranty. Anthony even deliver the car himself to our home in south OC! Service/repair was also superb. I don't know any other dealership which drop off a loaner car with a flatbed and take your car to be serviced. Our new car had a suspension issue. I just leased a brand new 2015 Lexus GS through Rony Parada. To start, I went to Longo Lexus since it's close to where I live. After checking out few cars, I have decided to go with GS model. Spent few hours with a salesperson I finally got a quote that he said was his best offer. I told him that I'll think about it. After doing some research on truecar and other websites, I went back to the same salesperson to match the deal that others have gotten online. The salesperson stated that he can't do any better than the original offer. Later that day, I mentioned to a friend about what happened and he told me that he recently leased a brand new Lexus at Longo with Rony, the salesperson. I decided to contact Rony and give a try. Rony told me, he'll try his best. Next day, Rony called back that he got me the deal that I wanted. Bottom line... Not all salesperson put the same amount of effort. If you pick a wrong salesperson, it'll cost you money, likely thousands Find the right salesperson can save you time of negotiation. If you pick the wrong one, you just waste your time. Pick a salesperson that was referred. I think referred salesperson has more credibility. Lastly, if you don't know anyone, go look for Rony. He is legit, no gimmick, great customer service. This review is purely for my service advisor only. His name is Raymond Liu (we are not related). I've been taking my vehicles to him since he joined the Longo Lexus team three years ago. Before Raymond I've had a few issues with the dealership and stopped going there for a while until I met him. So for those that avoid this dealer due to past issues read this review and ask for Raymond for a different experience. He definitely knows his cars and his customer service is amazing. I've owned and own various high end vehicles and I can safely say my experience with him is on par or better than the service I receive at Porsche. He truly makes the ownership experience less stressful when I have to take my vehicle in for service. As an automotive enthusiast a lot of us tend to avoid the dealership but ultimately have to due to warranty work/scheduled services and Raymond makes all the warranty claims effortless and makes sure everything is fixed right the first time around. The pricing he provides on service is very competitive as well and he never pressures you to do any services and is honest with his recommendations whether you need something or not. Knowing he is an automotive enthusiast owning multiple Lexus and a S2000 makes me feel comfortable I can take my cars into him and he'll take appropriate care of it. For those Lexus enthusiast Raymond is very active on Club Lexus and for those who are in Purist he is also a very active member of that community as well. It is definitely a refreshing experience to have a fellow enthusiast take care of your car while it is away from you. Raymond always remembers no wash for my cars and parks it downstairs/indoors to keep it clean. Always a great time taking my cars into service or warranty with Raymond and chatting a bit about cars. I came here and spent a few hours then the negotiation began and they should have the best deals in town they certainly have the most cars here but unfortunately it depends on who will be the salesperson. Do they want to deal with you or not. Buying a car is the worst experience and we don't do it everyday like them. So they are better at getting us to spend more. This place service on the phone is crapy you can be on hold for a very long time. Plus they tell you come in we can work it out. I went to Longo to purchase my IS back in 2008 and I always go back for servicing here. I thought ALL Lexus dealerships looked like this and had the same level of service! I was wrong, wrong wrong! This dealership really pampers you! Their location is spacious with tons of amenities while you wait (free coffee, cookies, computer use) for servicing. Their sales department is quick and attentive. The only issue I had was that they did not have a car I wanted in stock when I was looking recently. I expected that one of the largest Lexus dealerships out there would have a ton of inventory but this wasn't the case for the Lexus NX. Still, they were really professional and friendly and even made me a very decent offer on an RX (which I really appreciated!). Even though I ended up buying my Lexus from another dealership, there isn't another dealership that I would want to get that new car serviced at in the future. read more

WAH so sad. Our Lexus Hybrid battery gave out... And it wasnt covered by warranty anymore. Originally Longo Lexus quoted us $6K to get it replaced. I was like OH NOOOO. We might as well buy a new hybrid. However, Longo Lexus worked with us as I contacted Corporate to see if they can assist us in anyway. They even gave us a rental to use in the mean time. After negotiating and waiting a couple day, Corporate offered to pay more than 50% for a replacement. Thank you sooo much for working with us. I really appreciate everything. Still a very bitter and sour experience as of today 7/4/2021. The sales rep Anthony Nguyen is the WORST in all of car purchasing and overall customer service sales while I was there for going through purchasing a vehicle. If you are spending almost 60k, I would expect more stellar service and welcoming attitude coming from him, especially if we are buying not 1 but 2 vehicles. He did not offer any incentives nor was he friendly to talk to. It seemed as if I were the sales representative asking for his business. Flip your role around and maybe you'll see things a bit more differently. After all, I'm not the one working for commission and hitting my monthly goal. You need to speak to your finance manager to figure this whole fiasco and avoid losing not only a sale, but reputation for Longo Lexus. Maybe you don't need my sale or careless about me as a customer, but rest assure I have more stability and liquid property sitting in my bank account than you expect. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I was hesitant to have my car serviced. Many thoughts crossed my mind as I was considering scheduling my service appointment and requesting a loaner car. Would the service department be respectful of my personal space? Would they take appropriate precautions? We're they take the pandemic serious? We're all their team members on board and was I making a healthy decision to have my car serviced? Not that I should have been surprised but the Longo experience was superb. From the minute I pulled in I could see that all intake staff were wearing protective masks and were allowing appropriate distance from the customers. When I sat down inside the service department to complete the service paperwork , there were protective barriers, sanitized pens and no excess employees were hanging around. My paperwork was completed quickly and efficiently. When I checked in for my loaner car I received the same "safe" service. The rental car was clean and sanitized and the floors, steadying wheel, "gear shifter" and the key were all covered in plastic. All signatures were done electronically so no contaminated papers. The representative allowed me to remove the protective coverings and then politely asked if I would like him to dispose of the trash. All updates on my cars service were done via text messaging and when my car was ready for pick up, I was given an option to pay in advance on line. Upon arriving to return the rental, the intake agent approached me at the door and he personally went to get my car. My car had protective coverings on all touchable parts. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Thank you to Chris McCarty and the entire team at Longo once again you didn't disappoint.
