5 Stars = Parts and Service Department Big Thank You to everyone who helped us !! I had to get a new set of extra keys just to have as spares. I called parts and Chris gave me a great price and was very kind over the phone. There were other key stores around that would do it for a cheap price, but I stuck with Longo Lexus because Chris was nice and their price was not too off being it is coming from the dealership. When I called back a few weeks later, Gabriel and Kevin picked up the phone and helped me out. They had excellent service as well, very nice. My experience with Longo Lexus is turning out wonderful. When it was time to bring the car in for programming, we had my nieces and nephew with us because we picked them up after school. When we arrived, the gentleman who took our car had a smile and greeted us. We went inside, the kids were able to get snacks and use the computer to do their homework. Who would ever thought a car dealership would be a fantastic place to bring kids to while buying a car or buying parts for your car. We then met Eric. He was our service adviser and greeted us and checked on us frequently throughout to see if everything was ok. He was very patient and kind. Finally, when we got our car, we noticed a stuffed animal in my nieces car seat. Time for me to write something about this place with terrible service I had had receive so far. I got the car with one of the sales, because the interior conditions were dirty, the sales offered me a detail for my car. When I picked up my car, it didn't seem do anything on it at all. Instead, I saw a can of soda mark on my cup holder. I was so shocked with this kind of DETAILING. For maintenance purposes, I had to go back again, what they up sold me was everything here and there. I told them that my car has some interior noise, the break didn't work quite well either. Who cares? Who listened to my concern? Nobody. Same issue happened when I picked up my car, didn't feel they do anything for my car. Last time I called to give it one more try, this time even worse. I called to schedule an app a few weeks ago and they confirmed with me that they record shows that I needed a rental car. When I was done with the adviser, I walked to the rental counter. There's a white girl had nothing to do just sat there, she did not realize there's a customer waiting for her to process the paperwork to get the car. Instead, she gave me a very ugly look, I know it was Saturday, if you didn't feel like working then please didn't provide the negative energy to me. I didn't deserve that. Slapped everything with my ID and credit card was showing me how discrimination you were. Reported to my adviser, my voice didn't hear. Poor service with high price, for sure their tires are way more expensive than others. Stay away from this place, their service is already ruining their reputation! read more

I am so furious !! A big name dealer doing monkey business !!! (and I trusted them all these years) Their Managemt won't even dare to return my call ! When I went in for regular maintenance, I was told my breaks are down to 3mm, they said that's in the RED zone and must be replaced immediately for $600.00 Somehow I decided to hold off on that, and as soon as my maintenance was done. I went to another place, they said and actually showed me all my 4 breaks have 60-80% REMAINING!!! Where to begin... First off, I should tell you I had two not so good experiences at other Lexus dealerships, enough to almost sour me on Lexus as a whole. If I had a third I think I would have looked at another car entirely. Good thing for Lexus that there is Longo Lexus in El Monte. For this car, I went the internet route, and it was not as easy as advertised. I dealt with about eight dealerships in SoCal, but it really came down to three. I dealt with Jim Brown at Longo, and to be honest, they were my third choice, but Jim left the door open to me if the other two dealerships were not as smooth and easy as they promised. After my other two went poorly, I got back in contact with Jim and he got right to work for me. Not only did he locate my exact model, he was incredibly straight forward with prices once it was clear that I was ready to buy. You know how you want everything to just be easy? Good luck finding that at a car dealership. That said, Jim Brown could not have been any better. He put up with my crazy long emails about the deal, the price I wanted and never rushed me or pushed anything. Let me repeat that, he never pushed anything on me. He was the perfect (internet) salesman for me. I drove from Sherman Oaks to El Monte to pick out my exact car and give it a test drive before I ever agreed to buying it. Meeting Jim in person only reaffirmed my impression of him. He took to their underground stock warehouse and picked out my car. I was to buy the car 2 days later on a Friday night and I told him I would not be there until late. He stayed there well past his shift to finalize my deal, went over everything I could ever think of with the car and made the entire transaction go as easy as I wish all my other car purchases would have went. I HIGHLY recommend Longo Lexus and Jim Brown specifically. What else can I say? I would not only go there again to buy my next Lexus, but will send all my friends there as well. read more

This was the best service I've ever received from any dealership I've been - Mercedes Benz, BMW, Lexus. As with all car shopping customers, everyone dreads the long wait at the dealership: from the negotiations, the time to draft the contract from finance, to getting the car ready. I called Internet sales, and worked with Jeff Winiecke, and pleasantly found myself with a new 2013 GS350, in and out of the dealership in less than 35 minutes. Jeff took the time to be very up front, explain all of the cash rebates rather than burying them somewhere in the contract and having you sign papers left and right when you're ready to move forward with your decision. I appreciated all of the legwork that he did, to filling out all of the credit app from our Online application, to top notch service and even additional key chains. I had never experienced such an efficient service from one sales manager, as they typically have you negotiate with the sales team, then your next round with Finance. I worked directly with Jeff from the time we stepped foot into the dealership, to taking a look at the car (which he removed additional options for me that I did not want on the vehicle), to signing the final loan docs. All of these small things add up, and I felt compelled to take the time to make worthy of this best in class service that I've received in my last 8 years of leasing. She brought in different resources within Longo Lexus and orchestrated a solution process for my vehicle. I left my vehicle at Longo Lexus for approximately 1 1/2 to 2 weeks (because they found a small damage on the paint after the pinstripe was removed; the pinstripe was covering the damage). They offered to repair it (no cost). That's what I call INTEGRITY and doing the right thing for a customer. This is just for the service department, which I had the honor of experiencing. Dropped my car off for a routine maintenance, which usually takes about 2hours or so. I was asked if there was a specific time I would like to have the car ready, and my response was anytime before 5 (Had reservations). This of course was at 12:30 in the afternoon, but it was an early drop off anyways. I also requested the service guy to not have the car washed to save some time and possible swirl marks on my vinyl I installed. A call came in around 3:50 stating that my car is ready and all that needs to be done was some paperwork, which should be done by 4:30. Great!,I got dropped off at around 4:18 and went straight to the front desk, the guy spoke with my service agent and came back with 10-15mins for paperwork. Ok, so 50mins went by and I see my service guy get up and what looks like printing some paper, cool, back to checking some emails. 1 minute later I look up and he was GONE. So about an hour into waiting, my service guy leaves without any notice. I go up to the front desk and tell the guy working there, i've waited over 50mins already. This guy was pretty nice about it and decided to print out the "paperwork", which took him less than 5minutes. He told me my service agent never started on my paperwork. So 5:45pm finally got my car and extremely late for my reservation. I guess buying a Lexus doesn't really guarantee you good service. I'm sure most had great experiences here, I seem to be the exception. read more
