I went into Longo Lexus with the intent of only test driving an NX 200T. It was one of two choices I was considering before purchasing my first car. The level of service received was the best I've experienced. I worked with Stephen Tran and he immediately made me feel very comfortable and was not pushy in the way that many sales people are. Sorry for the bad review but it has to be said. I came to Longo Lexus to get my SUV fixed and was told that I needed to spend about $1,600 to get it running again. I declined and paid for the $125 assessment fee they charged me for looking at my car. I instead asked AAA to see if they check my car and see what's wrong with it after the car just finally stopped working. AAA said i needed a new battery. AAA went and got my battery and installed for $125 and then said, hmmm something's wrong with your gas pedal and the AAA agent fixed my problem in 5 minutes without an extra penny charged. Seriously though.... how is this an honest establishment? I don't see it. I'm never going to Longo Lexus again. read more

Deteriorating service, wants customers to go multiple times in order to charge more. Very slow service and rude sales according to a friend. I have my friend from the body shop to tow my car to Longo Lexus on 9/27/14 because it wouldn't start after storage. Longo claims that the car was fixed but upon my return, I found that the navigation and audio system was completely down. I had to return to Longo on 10/2/14 and waited another 5 hours for Longo to run another diagnosis. It turned out that there was another blown fuse Longo failed to discover. An obvious question I asked was, why didn't Longo notice the problem in the first place? I am shocked that a reputable dealer like Longo did not bother to mention on the first visit that the Navigation system doesn't turn on and whether I would like them to fix it? In addition, I noticed the next day that there's a busted tail light and the tail light indicator was on on the dash board. In fact, I noticed it while looking through the glass while Longo was repairing my navigation, but forgot to mention it to them afterwards. It surprises me that Longo failed to notice this? I mentioned my concerns to them, but Longo said that the tech will only fix the problem in question. So if I know what the problem is why do I need Longo? I come to Longo because you make the car and you should be able to tell whether other things maybe wrong and need fixing. I've been to Santa Monica Lexus and they promptly let me know anything that may need fixing or maintenance, so why couldn't Longo do the same? I can care less about charges but you can't waste my time like this. The navigation system could be repaired on 9/27 and I wouldn't have to waste 5 hours waiting for you to replace ONE fuse. I tried to call and speak to a service supervisor but they are all "too busy" and would not even return my calls. In addition, a complain was filed with the BBB, but Longo was again, "too busy" to contact me. This has been a terrible experience. Honestly, I've been debating between buying another Lexus or Infiniti for my wife, and now Lexus is out of the question. At least Longo Lexus is definitely out of the question. read more

After researching online which model, color and options I wanted, I started emailing the various dealers. The common denominator soon became apparent, that not all the dealers have the best selection. Longo Lexus, I believe is the largest volume dealer on the west coast, and they will not only have your new car in every color, but all the various options too. Next is price, in which they came in below all the other dealers in and around Southern California. Jeffrey Winiecke, my internet sales manager, was very knowledgeable and helpful in answering all of my questions. My local lexus dealers wanted to charge close to msrp. Are they nuts? I locked in my "internet discount price", which was way lower than msrp, with Jeff Winiecke and Steven Johiro even before I came down to Longo Lexus, so I knew I was getting a great deal. My service consultant- Niva Salazar is amazing and extremely helpful. I purchased a Lexus in 2007 and he has been helping me ever since then. Every time I go to take my car in, the service is always extremely quick and efficient. Everything that I request to have done to my car gets done within a reasonable amount of time, or even sometimes earlier than quoted. Also, every time I take my car in, he always reserves me a loaner car so it would be more convenient for me. If anyone is thinking of going to take their car in to Longo to get serviced, I would highly recommend going to Niva! Within ten minutes on the phone, the deal was done. The following week I drove 60 miles to Longo Lexus and met with Steve and completed the paperwork for a special order GS 350. My wife and I took her car to get service today we arrived very early because we have other things to do, we have service card which covers the cost of maintenance , well it turns that service guy Rene Reynoso was unprepared to handle the situation. He didn't know how to collect the payment therefore push the car all the way to the back. When the car was finally ready 2 and half hours later we confronted about pushing the car back he responded very aggressively that the service card in the back states that need payment before start service. He started to tell us that the car can't be release until payment is done, even dough service company agreed to pay the service. He show once again lack of training and customer service by not knowing how to handle the situation, it was until a coworker show him how to process the payment, he humiliated us and never apologized, we spend there all morning just learn that this place is lacking of proper training for employees and that they don't provide real customer services and dignity to their customers. read more

I absolutely love it when its time to get my car check up! Their service is the best. Although I know almost nothing about cars except how to drive one... ok fine I am a female asian driver and I don't drive that well... they make it very easy and smooth. They totally contradict how the average car dealers just want you to buy their car. They really care about their customers and continue to give great service even after you bought it. An extra plus is that it always comes with a car wash so you'll leave them sparkling clean. Their service lounge is so comfortable. I couldn't believe buying a car from Victor and his team can be such a great and easy experience. I have been avoiding car dealerships by using online apps for the last couple of years. Recently I went to the Long lexus to check out their inventory due to the recent shortage since they are the largest Lexus dealer in the area. It was definitely worth the trip. First, the dealership was bright and clean, making me feel comfortable during the pandemic. Victor and his courteous trainer came out and offered us the showing. Once I expressed interest in purchasing the SUV, Victor gave me a reasonable offer with a clear breakdown in price. Unfortunately, there was no inventory for the color we liked. Victors other trainee, Eric, took down our information and informed us that they were expecting a shipment next week. As he promised, the new shipment came and Victor called me and scheduled a meeting for the sale. We bought the SUV with gratitude. Most importantly, it completely changed my view of dealing with the dealership directly. Both the finance manager, Ian, and Joshua are bright professional and knowledgeable in their field. I would give this dealership a negative star if I could. Bottom line is they didn't honor my request on multiple occasions when I asked for an agreement to take to my bank- Chase. My bank pre approved me with 1.9 apr. The dealership told me that they work directly with Chase and the apr they could give me was 2.2% and if I take in my contract to Chase that Chase could change it to 1.9%apr like they had guaranteed. I told them repeatedly what I needed-the purchase agreement. I gave them the contact number for Chase with the person's name and extension. They reassured me that this is how it works. The salesman Victor Reyes said he's just the middle man when in fact he was the front line man and the first person I brought up the pre approved loan with. The manager J.C.) stated that it was miscommunication. ( now remember I mentioned what I needed to the sales person and the finance person repeatedly). When I went back to Chase, they(Chase) told me this is not how it works and the contract is signed. They can not change the apr now to 1.9%. When I called Longo Lexus El Monte I was passed around on the phone. I demanded to speak to a manager, I was told to return to El Monte Longo Lexus and they will give 1.9% on a new contract. What they did for me was give me 1.9%apr, they dinged my credit twice and they didn't need to check my credit if I already had a pre approved loan, gave me a $200.00 gift card and took $200.00 off the price of the purchase. I feel that they were misguided and that they were fraudulent with their information. I feel a loss of trust with the dealership and the employees that work there. If they wanted to rectify this then they could have done a lot more. I spent over 3 extra hours and drove in Los Angeles' rush hour traffic to get this new deal.m. Let's see what corporate has to say. If I don't get a call the next day then I'm going to take this further. Let's see what the BBB and the federal trade commission say about this. I was thinking about replacing my car, a friend referred me to Longo.I was in the area and stopped by to look. It was allergy season so I sneezed between answering 3 or 4 questions and now I have a Lexus. It was that easy! The hardest part was picking the color. I wasn't ready, I had my guard up and was all set to bob and weave but not long after I went down into the jungle (brand new Lexi as far as the eye can see), they pounced and latched onto my throat and it was a wrap. Rene in service made this place an amazing experience! I bought a 2007 Lexus LS460L from another Lexus dealership and that other place wasn't very honest and forthcoming prior to the sale so I was left with a lot of targeted repairs that needed a little more attention to detail. Rene was prompt and courteous with everything from parts sourcing to communication. He helped turn around a pretty upsetting experience elsewhere to a salvageable one. My LS460 now is running great and looking great! I would absolutely come back! Rene keep up the good work, I know maybe my needs were a little odd but I'm glad we got it worked through. Thank you! I am also quite happy with the quality of their repairs! The other Lexus dealership used non factory parts on a repair and it failed within weeks, Longo actually used OEM parts and I was super happy, the repairs are still holding and my car is no longer burning oil and smoking at lights! I will definitely be back! So far I have spent about $4000 in repairs on this car here and am ready to go back for some of the remaining loose ends.l hopefully to bring this car as back to "perfect" running condition. Also Chris in their parts department is amazing there were a couple parts that were hard to obtain he was all over it and got them in quickly! I contacted Cerritos Lexus and Alisa Viejo Lexus and they both wanted me to bring the car in to figure out the cost. I appreciate the willingness to share the cost with me over the phone and not drag me in to find out it will cost approximately $7,000 to replace the battery. read more

I went to Longo yesterday, to buy my first Lexus. I never really enjoy these experiences. But I have to admit, the only negative thing about my experience was the several hour drive to L.A. (each way). In this case, it was definitely worth the trip. They have great inventory and simply awesome customer service. I typically expect to be cheated in at least one area of a car purchase: car price, interest rate (for financing) or trade in value. That was simply not the case here. My salesman (George King--internet sales mgr) gave me a quote that was nearly 6K less than what was listed on their website. I received a promotional interest rate of 0.9 %, which is I think the lowest I have EVER had. The promotion also included a $500 rebate, which lowered the car price even more. And finally, they gave me a very fair price for my trade in. During the detailing of my new car, one of the staff caused some minor damage to one of the pricey rims (trying to get off stubborn tree sap or something). So, George had them swap out the entire tire/rim. This delayed our leaving by an hour--to make up for it, George got his manager to approve GIVING me the all weather mats for the car (that I was planning on buying myself from their parts dept). Like I said, at every turn, they just offered amazing service and an even more amazing deal. I will definitely brave the 'not fun drive' to L.A. again, when I am ready for my second Lexus. I will add that my husband had a very positive experience also from the Longo Toyota dealership last year. The Longo franchise have made lifelong customers of both of us! read more

Been here 3 times already and still confused. Every sales person tells us something different. What really takes the cake, the last guy says Longo only has 3 versions of the Rx with all the same options. He said lexus doesn't make other options and every car on the lower lot has the same options. I get the fact that the dealership only has what they have on stock, but don't lie to your customers and say lexus doesn't make it when clearly as written on the info sheet are the different options! He seriously lied to our face. Worst part, second day mid way showing us around, he had an appointment come in. Instead of getting another salesman to help us, he told us to come back. Longo, where is your professionalism? Jerry Wu, He's the liar and the guy that made us come back. David was another salesman who helped us the first day but he forgot who we were and they stuck us with Jerry. We are on the market for a new car. We will buy, if not from you then definatly from someone else. Is this how you treat all your customers?! This is a big purchase, we want to make sure our hard earn money goes to a car we want, not 1 of 3 cars forced on us. I invite you to contact us.
