I was planning to get a Range Rover but I'm glad I got the Lexus GX 460 Premium instead. As I get older, I prefer money in the bank. The Lexus SUV I had before has over 200,000 miles and still runs great. The maintenance barely costed anything and the mileage was excellent especially when I used to drive 500-600 miles a week. I don't drive that much anymore but surprisingly the mileage is still good. Last week I drove to SF and I was able to make it in one tank. We were checking out cars for 30 minutes, and no single employee even approached us to assist. I do DIY maintenance on my cars at home, helping my family, girlfriend, and myself out with regular maintenance on our Lexuses (we have two LS's, an SC, an IS, and formerly a GS). The parts guys are helpful and help me find the parts I need. My only complaint is that occasionally, they will forget to email me when my parts arrive, and I don't find out until I actually ask them myself or go in person. I brought my 2016 Lexus IS-200T in for a front windshield replacement on May 13, 2020. I was contacted by the service department to pick up my vehicle on May 14, 2020, I immediately noticed paint damage on the edge of the roof, directly next to the windshield seal. I contacted the service manager right away to file a complaint. The service advisor scheduled me to bring my car back in on May 16, fast forward to the 27th (11 days later), I received a picture of my vehicle with another DAMAGE next to the bottom part of the window seal, i reached out to Clem Cisneros and he is now claiming that the damage "has been there for a while" because there is rust visible and they will not repair it - after a long discussion with Clem, he finally offered to repair it using touch-up paint! I was scheduled to pick up the car today 6/6 and when i picked it up, the interior was filthy, covered with dust (which clearly shows that it was left out without a windshield possibly for weeks, a new paint scuff on the hood has appeared! They (Longo Lexus) have been the only people to work on my car. Based on other Yelp revious this dealership is clearly negligent when handling their customer's vehicles. If you and your love ones care about your vehicles, please save yourself the trouble and STAY AWAY FROM LONGO LEXUS! Ridiculous customer service. Very poor communication with Rene Reynoso in particular. I left my car here for simple scratches on my two rims on Monday and it's still not done on Thursday.
