My wife and I walked on the car lot today and a salesperson Eric Garcia approached us. We had done a lot of research and knew what car we wanted. He made the whole buying experience very pleasurable. He worked out a great deal for us and we were in and out in about an hour and a half. (BTW he told us he had started at the dealership washing cars and is now obviously doing very well in sales) We were at the same dealership about two weeks prior and we were approached by another salesperson, and our experience was the exact opposite. Before I drove to look at and test drive a used car I found on their website I called to make sure that it didn't smell like the previous owner had smoked in it. The salesperson assured me that she was very familiar with the car and that it had no smoke smell. Imagine my surprise after I drove over an hour to get to the dealership to find that the car smelled like someone had sprayed perfume to cover a strong odor of smoke. When I told her this she stated that it "just smells like leather" to her. Anyone that has been inside a smoker's car knows it's a distinct odor that can be in no way confused with leather smell. They wasted over 2 hours of my morning, showed that their word cannot be trusted, and ensured that I will cross them off the list of dealers as I continue to shop for a car. read more

Hydrogen price went through the roof all thanks to true zero and Longo who sold me the car! When the station is not off line, it's the price going up, it all start it with low 5 dollar a kilogram when the car was first introduced, now it's about 700% more per kilogram, and a typical hydrogen fuel cell car uses 5 and half kilograms, so you are paying 198 dollars for a full tank, that's higher then most suv on the road, how long before that 15k complement fuel card run out? You do the math! Now Longo is trying to hustle me or service, what's the point? This is to the response for Longo Toyota, you as the dealer is responsible on the volume of the hydrogen vehicle you can sell, for Longo Toyota there is no cap on how many Mirai you can move, new or used, so the more people are mislead by the false marketing about there is unlimited source of hydrogen fuel out there, just get the car is false, the more people have Mirai the more expensive hydrogen will get, the price will climb 3 times as fast then gas and diesel, and Toyota knows this, that's why they quietly came out the BZ4 all electric car, and trying to get rid of the remain inventory of the Mirai, see they realize the hydrogen car can never dominate the market like electric cars, you can literally build a charging stations over night, it will take hydrogen station years to open one station, and constantly having issues with the hydrogen fuel due to more Mirai Longo is selling! I was planning to get a Range Rover but I'm glad I got the Lexus GX 460 Premium instead. As I get older, I prefer money in the bank. The Lexus SUV I had before has over 200,000 miles and still runs great. The maintenance barely costed anything and the mileage was excellent especially when I used to drive 500-600 miles a week. I don't drive that much anymore but surprisingly the mileage is still good. Last week I drove to SF and I was able to make it in one tank. My boys love the new car, the third row, the fan and seat warmers in the back. Tony Minarto is simply the BEST, he waited for me the night I came in so cordial and personable. I do DIY maintenance on my cars at home, helping my family, girlfriend, and myself out with regular maintenance on our Lexuses (we have two LS's, an SC, an IS, and formerly a GS). The parts guys are helpful and help me find the parts I need. My only complaint is that occasionally, they will forget to email me when my parts arrive, and I don't find out until I actually ask them myself or go in person. But other than that, the prices for parts are competitive, and they are one of the only Lexus dealer in the area with an actual online parts website. read more

I brought my 2016 Lexus IS-200T in for a front windshield replacement on May 13, 2020. I was contacted by the service department to pick up my vehicle on May 14, 2020, I immediately noticed paint damage on the edge of the roof, directly next to the windshield seal. I contacted the service manager right away to file a complaint. The service advisor scheduled me to bring my car back in on May 16, fast forward to the 27th (11 days later), I received a picture of my vehicle with another DAMAGE next to the bottom part of the window seal, i reached out to Clem Cisneros and he is now claiming that the damage "has been there for a while" because there is rust visible and they will not repair it - after a long discussion with Clem, he finally offered to repair it using touch-up paint! I was scheduled to pick up the car today 6/6 and when i picked it up, the interior was filthy, covered with dust (which clearly shows that it was left out without a windshield possibly for weeks, a new paint scuff on the hood has appeared! They (Longo Lexus) have been the only people to work on my car. Based on other Yelp revious this dealership is clearly negligent when handling their customer's vehicles. If you and your love ones care about your vehicles, please save yourself the trouble and STAY AWAY FROM LONGO LEXUS! Recently bought the Lexus RX 350. We received excellent service. Worked with both Oscar and Chris. Highly recommend this dealership because their sales team; particularly Chris we worked with who is highly professional, knowledgeable and very straight forward. There are no "hidden" fees and bait and catch games played at this dealership. We dove over 2 hrs to purchase our vehicle from Longo even though Keyes Lexus in Van Nuys was a lot closer, but experience at Keys was subpar!! Longo Lexus is the worst car dealership location ever. Not a single employee greeted us or even asked if we needed help. We were checking out cars for 30 minutes, and no single employee even approached us to assist. When we walked in to see if employees were all busy helping other customers, many employees were sitting around or chatting with each other. I'm sure most of them knew we needed assistance as they even gave eye contact, but no acknowledgment was provided. I'm not sure if Sunday is a bad day to come and try to purchase a car at this location, but all customers walking in the dealership and actively looking at cars should at least be asked if assistance is needed. read more

Unbelievable, two different services people at Longo Lexus quoted me two different prices for the same TPMS sensor. Robin's quote is $99, his best offer is 10% off the parts, not the labor$175. Today I got the sensor replaced at Longo Lexus for $175 Labor and $85 for the sensor, plus 10% off for both labor and parts. Car sales play games when you need to buy a car. But for services too? Only come here if you want to waste your entire day. I had a service appt at 8:30 am, and I didnt get my car checked in until 9:15 am! Why does it take so long? All dealerships Ive been to, take 10 mins tops to check in a car. Maybe it has something to do with the service advisors socializing and laughing with each other, instead of working... all while the service director with the initials "P.W." sits in his office browsing the internet. Update to my 1 star review. I reached out to Paul the Service Director who got the ball rolling on making things right. I was having the worst of luck with my car. The seats were left dirty, the scratches on the hood and then the electronic brake malfunctioned. Paul got my car picked up from my home and had a loaner dropped off. Jim my sales advisor then told me the car would have a diagnostic $175. Turns out it was a bent and loose harness on one of the wheels, strange. I am glad it wasn't something more serious. Steering wheel is still a bit off center but it's better than it was before. I picked up my car a couple of days later and to my surprise it was detailed.
