My husband and I hate shopping for cars so much that we actually did an Overseas Delivery for our last car purchase in order to minimize contact with salespeople at a dealership! When my almost 85 year old father unexpectedly announced he wanted to sell his 2005 Lexus LS 430 with 47,500 miles and lease a new 2022 Lexus ES 350, we were very worried about the sales process. Especially due to language/communication issues and the fact he'd never leased a car before. We live in NorCal so we couldn't visit dealerships with him but lucky for us, he met Linda Hur at Longo Lexus. Linda listened to my fathers needs, patiently answered his many questions, made helpful suggestions and recommendations, and applied absolutely no sales pressure. After some consideration, my father decided to move forward with the lease. While waiting for their new car to arrive, my parents sold their second car so Linda offered to deliver their new car to their home. Not only did she deliver their car, she took time to explain the car's features, program their seats, and program their garage opener! When I reached out to her to ask for a Korean-language owner's manual requested by my father (I wasn't able to translate the English version on Google translate nor was I able to locate a version for purchase/download), she searched Lexus' Korean sales site and managed to find a manual for another Lexus model since they don't sell the ES 350 in Korea. WOW, who does that these days especially after the sale is made?!? Linda treated my parents with genuine care and respect and my parents couldn't stop raving about her. You would have thought my parents were long family friends of her parents! My folks are 83 years old and looking to get their last car. We found one at close to the budget. The used manager did try working with us but in honesty we left feeling very disappointed. We left remember the manager saying we have to pay our bills and keeping the lights on. When we shared this is our parents last car and hope to be meaningful for them. The price was about 1k difference of when we like Longo to adjust given they are making profit regardless. Sometimes it's important to look at the humanness of the situation vs the profit. Dropped by to pick up parts and accidentally spilled a few drops of lotion on a brand new car's floor mat. Tried wiping it off but still had some stain so I took the mat inside to wash it off in the restroom and was rudely asked by the sales manager not to use and dirty "his" restroom. I politely responded that I would make sure that I would leave the restroom clean and he replied that he would prefer that I not wash it off inside. I explained to him that as a customer who recently purchased an LX 600 from them should at least be given some assistance or a little courtesy. He disrespectfully again in a condescending manner said that he didn't care whether I drive a Tesla or Lexus in front of his sales people is very unprofessional and an unacceptable level of customer service. My wife and I walked on the car lot today and a salesperson Eric Garcia approached us. We had done a lot of research and knew what car we wanted. He made the whole buying experience very pleasurable. He worked out a great deal for us and we were in and out in about an hour and a half. (BTW he told us he had started at the dealership washing cars and is now obviously doing very well in sales) We were at the same dealership about two weeks prior and we were approached by another salesperson, and our experience was the exact opposite. When you plan on dropping north of 50 grand for a car the least you would expect from a salesperson is common manners. Needless to say he didn't earn our business. Before I drove to look at and test drive a used car I found on their website I called to make sure that it didn't smell like the previous owner had smoked in it. The salesperson assured me that she was very familiar with the car and that it had no smoke smell. Imagine my surprise after I drove over an hour to get to the dealership to find that the car smelled like someone had sprayed perfume to cover a strong odor of smoke. When I told her this she stated that it "just smells like leather" to her. Anyone that has been inside a smoker's car knows it's a distinct odor that can be in no way confused with leather smell. Hydrogen price went through the roof all thanks to true zero and Longo who sold me the car! When the station is not off line, it's the price going up, it all start it with low 5 dollar a kilogram when the car was first introduced, now it's about 700% more per kilogram, and a typical hydrogen fuel cell car uses 5 and half kilograms, so you are paying 198 dollars for a full tank, that's higher then most suv on the road, how long before that 15k complement fuel card run out? You do the math! Now Longo is trying to hustle me or service, what's the point? This is to the response for Longo Toyota, you as the dealer is responsible on the volume of the hydrogen vehicle you can sell, for Longo Toyota there is no cap on how many Mirai you can move, new or used, so the more people are mislead by the false marketing about there is unlimited source of hydrogen fuel out there, just get the car is false, the more people have Mirai the more expensive hydrogen will get, the price will climb 3 times as fast then gas and diesel, and Toyota knows this, that's why they quietly came out the BZ4 all electric car, and trying to get rid of the remain inventory of the Mirai, see they realize the hydrogen car can never dominate the market like electric cars, you can literally build a charging stations over night, it will take hydrogen station years to open one station, and constantly having issues with the hydrogen fuel due to more Mirai Longo is selling!
