Super fast and well, the car stopped saying maintenance needed :) I'll be back for servicing for my new car as this location is an easy stop off the 10 if I visit my parents in the SGV. As for sales, 2 stars. Longo Toyota/Lexus is HUGE. And in terms of sales #1 said some kind of chart on their wall. Lots to choose from! Our salesperson (whose identity I will withhold) was really knowledgeable but I don't think he understood that I was looking to buy then and there. Since my car was deemed totaled and I was driving a horrible Chevy rental, I NEEDED a car so I was going to buy. Period. He just didn't seem like he wanted to make a sale. While this was my first car-buying experience, just in terms of overall vibe and service from other sales experience, he missed the mark. AAA members should know they can get a better price by talking to a fleet manager as opposed to a sales person. No need to haggle. So far so good. I was able to talk to a guy named Mark. I got his number through AAA by calling them. He gave me a decent price based off of my info. He even told me about the Lexus Loyalty program. Make sure you ask about it!! He has been very helpful, patient, and understanding throughout times we've done business. There may be a few goof ups once in a while, but we were able to over come whatever complicated that challenged us. Longo parts department does not deliver to shops, and that's very inconvenient for us. But Kevin has been generous enough to offer to drop off the parts after hours. That's how awesome this guy is! Back again. The service here is awesome. I bought my 2013 gls 350 a year ago and they have taken care of everything complimentary the first three times or within the first year. The staff is super friendly and the place is a well oiled machine. There have been some instances where I needed answers and the reps have been outstanding. It is hard to beat Lexus. It is low maintenance but still has the allure of luxury. And with great service, I find it hard not to make the next purchase also a Lexus. Here is a tip. Come right when they open so that things are calm and not as chaotic. My warranty ran out and they were charging me $240 for tire rotation and oil change. My guy can do the oil change for $75 and tire rotation is typically free. I paid for the service and the service is great, but as is true, if you come to the dealer, expect to pay dealer prices. read more

Prompt and professional service. I had an appointment on Tuesday morning for my car to be serviced. By early afternoon I received a text message from the dealership stating what additional services I needed and the time frame they would need to keep my car. In the past I took my car to Lexus of Cerritos because it was less than 5 miles away from my job. But the customer service was poor. The customer representative did not return calls in a prompt manner. On more than three occasions I scheduled for a loaner car, only to find out they ran out of them. Once my car was kept for two days without notification from the dealership. I was the one calling for a status update. This review more for the sales side since I haven't had to work with service yet. I just wanted to shout out 2 salesmen, Sergio and Vince who I both highly recommend. I purchased a CPO 2015 Lexus GS350 through Sergio as a recommendation from ClubLexus and the process was so smooth and hassle free. We worked out a price on the phone and he was very easy to work with. Vince Dinh actually showed me the car when I came in because Sergio was out and Vince went above and beyond in taking care of my needs. He got me a few extras for the vehicle and buffed out a few nicks that I saw on the car. The entire process was surprisingly very quick and I was out the door in about an hour. They also went over the pricing very clearly so that there were no surprises or extra fees. I highly recommend both of them at Longo, thanks guys. **UPDATE** When I drove the car home I saw tiny paint fades on the roof and called Sergio. He told me to bring it back and that Longo will take care of it for me, no charge. It started with the appointment person being very unknowledgeable and was trying to tell me that I had to prepay the diagnostic fees and courtesy loaner for services that needed to be done on my Lexus. She was telling me that the vehicle had to be running when the courtesy tow truck showed up. Then when we called back and ask if we get the vehicle there if we can get a loaner she stated that she cannot guarantee that we would get one. When we told her that we were coming from Anaheim, she stated again there's no guarantees as they don't reserve cars which I know it's not true as I had one previously. Then I was told by SM, Clem that I would get a call back from the GM but never did. This is the type of service I would get maybe at a very low line car manufacturer dealership. I bought my first CPO Lexus from Longo and I just purchased my 2nd CPO from Longo (The first one lasted a good 15 years!) I decided to come back to Longo for the final deal. I first met with ERIC TRAN at the beginning of the month. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and answered my many questions patiently. He has had experience working in the service department so he was also very knowledgable in that area and not just in sales. I'm not surprised that he was employee of the month. I was still in the beginning of my car search so I told him I was still shopping around. He was very respectful and did not pressure me. He only wished me luck and told me to call him and come back because he would be more than happy to help me find the car I wanted. I liked that!! (a salesman from Glendale Lexus questioned me why I would go shop around somewhere else and made me uncomfortable and started talking about how Longo was not as good as them. I'm so not into negative campaigning.) After a few weeks of informed research I went back to ERIC and bought my CPO IS200t. The price and mileage was right. CPO cars are now no haggle but there is small AAA pricing discount (every dollar helps). Only a few Lexus dealerships have this AAA option. He also gave me a fair trade in value for my old Lexus (more than the other dealership). Beyond that, ERIC was so patient and took time to listen, gave me good information, answered all my questions and told me things to consider. As a matter of fact, even after I drove off the lot with my car, he still replies to my texts in a timely manner answering my questions and concerns. He was very experienced and knowledgeable as he explained the details of the car, describing the different colors, options, and packages. Once we selected our vehicle, he insisted that we take a test drive to make sure we'd be happy. We never felt pressured. George helped us with the financing, final paperwork, and delivery of the car and made the process pleasurable. My family bought 2 cars and leased one in the span of 2 months at Longo Lexus from Van. He is a straight shooter that won't waste your time. Bonus points for not being "greasy"like the stereotypical car salesmen (aka everyone at Alhambra Nissan). Their service team has it down to a science. You can make appointments online and even reserve a loaner car. I was in an out within 30 minutes (early morning is most convenient). This location is also a great place to test drive as it's close to the freeway (their route takes you on and off the 10). You can really get a feel for acceleration. *Dishonest and Sneaky Sales Tactics During Lease Negotiations* -------------------------- My wife and I were shopping for a 2018 RX350. First off, leasing is not for the faint of heart. It is an art when negotiating a lease. I am not going to single out a particular salesman simply because I don't believe there was any malice, I believe it is just how dealership's sales team work together to (for lack of better words) *screw* people. I chose this dealership first because the salesman over email promised me he could beat everyone, so I should just come in. But that turned out to be a lie. I brought my laptop in which has all the calculations that I put together in a spreadsheet. It breaks down every nook and cranny and if you plug in all the numbers, hallelujah, you will get the correct monthly payment, taxes, fees, and total cost of the vehicle. Well, herein lies the problem. The sales team was incredibly unrelenting to give me all the numbers I needed to properly calculate the lease numbers. They only gave me the monthly payment and a bunch of random numbers to throw me off. They didn't think I could back-calculate. First off, the numbers were completely off in the monthly payments by $50. This translates to a whopping $1800 over 3 year lease. Secondly, about $568 dollars was ALSO unaccounted for in our drive off down payment. The salesman kept telling me that HE HIMSELF doesn't understand the lease numbers and this is what his manager presented to him for me to see. He said to us that in order for us to go over the numbers in detail, we needed to make an appointment with the finance manager because he's really busy and we will have to wait at least an hour. Oh really? I said to him that your numbers are so far off, even the Lease Calculator on Lexus' own official website was much closer to mine than his. There's a reason why Longo Lexus did not install the Lease Calculator on their website. Finally, my wife said that she wasn't here to play games and she wanted them to not play around. I then sat there and wrote down by hand all the lease calculations to demonstrate the correct math. The salesman takes my 6th grade math paper and walks up to the stage podium at the center of the office where an another man (I presume is his sales tactics manager) kept crunching numbers. Finally, BAM they came back and the monthly payments MATCH what my computer said. Then my wife asked "Was it a mistake on your end? " to which the salesman said "No, it wasn't a mistake. It was just profit." HAHAHAHA. The salesman admitted indirectly that it was clear we were being taken in the beginning. Next, I then explained to the salesman and said, "We're ready to take the car but there's a second problem. About $568 bucks is unaccounted for in the lease drive off down. Based on my calculations, $568 should go towards the cap cost reduction. But it's not there. Finally, he got real frustrated and said "This is OUR best offer. This is what we have." I looked over to my wife and smiled. We got up and left to another dealership at Lexus Santa Monica which had the same exact car and MSRP. There, ALL the numbers were CORRECT! Does Longo not know how to do math or are they playing us? Of course, I know the answer. All Longo had to do was come clean with the profit. Put the profit or commission in the negotiated cost of the car in the very beginning of the quote. Then, it would've not been an insult to my intelligence. But because they didn't do that, that tells me they were dishonest with the true price of the car. The Republican dealerships like Newport and Tustin were much more straight-shooters. The price of the same car was $3K above Longo and they put that into the cost of the car (cap cost). That's the way to do it without tricking customers to come in first with a low price only to be taken. read more
