We've purchased several cars through Longo Lexus! 3 months into the presumed 6 month wait for delivery of a new Lexus NX 450H+ plug in hybrid, we received a call from Victor Reyes, our go-to guy over the past 10 years. We submitted everything electronically and 2 days later David Van delivered our car, 52 miles away, and picked up our Lexus 350ES, which still had 4 months on the lease. It was low mileage and we got a substantial credit on turning it in! David Van exceeded our expectations on the service side. He was very patient as the electronics are completely different on this car! We still had more questions a couple of days later and emailed him to ask who we could talk to. David responded by saying he could come back to our home on Sunday afternoon and get us further set up and understand things that both of us needed to know on our profiles, etc. Never expected such great service but it confirmed why Longo Lexus is truly the best auto dealer in Southern California! When I started shopping around for a new car, I went to almost every single Lexus that was in Southern California and honestly after my first visit at Longo Lexus, I knew this was the dealership I was going to work with. Not only was the dealership welcoming but I had one of the best salesmen to help me out with the whole process, Dennis Lo! It took me a while to decide on getting the Lexus because originally I was torn between an Infiniti and Lexus, but after my initial visit, I knew it was going to be a Lexus after I test drove it and Dennis was convincing. I ended up buying the Lexus ES 2017 and loved it! Fast forward 1.5 years later, my car ended up totaled from getting hit by a speeding driver, and I texted Dennis right away and he reserved a the new ES 2019 that I've been eyeing for me and made the whole process so easy! I trust him, he's honest and he always gets my concerns addressed. He even checked up on me throughout the year to see how I'm doing, we're practically friends now. TJ BUTLER -- This woman is amazing & God send! Initially I was having problems with my Bluetooth & called Longo Lexus to have someone assist me. Longo pinged me to TJ, and she walked me through - thorough process of getting my Bluetooth to work. She even offered to give me her work cell phone number, and told me that if I decided to go to another dealership (due to the distance), I could provide the dealership with her number so she could assist with the problem. Unfortunately, a part of the process was not understandable to me because I'm not a techy person so I had to bring my car to another Lexus dealership (Tustin). Bad mistake on my part. The problem was temporarily resolved, only to resurface at a later date. Yesterday (06/03/19), my Bluetooth crapped out on me again. I sifted through my text messages & texted TJ. I didn't think she would remember me, but she did! This God-send soul offered to drive from El Monte to Irvine on her own free will, to fix the Bluetooth issue at no cost to me. I've been planning on getting a new car for a while now and I started looking at the beginning of the year but to no avail. My current care finally broke down so I decided to look at a Lexus and I'm so glad that my salesperson was George Kantanto. I have a very busy schedule that tends to change a lot but despite this George was very accommodating. He had a lot of clients but he still managed to make time for me which I greatly appreciate. My first visit there, he was able to show me a few models that I was interested in and give me some quotes to think about. The part I loved the most was that he understood buying a car isn't a snap decision. He told me to think it over and if I had any questions to message him. I loved that he didn't push for the sales right there and then. He understood that a big decision like this would need time. Since I couldn't go into the dealership a lot he was able to reply to my text messages or phone calls in a timely matter too. He constantly would also check to see if we needed water or coffee or snacks during our visit there. They're currently remodeling right now so the place a is a bit smaller but you can always walk over to the service department for more seating and snacks! Finally, when I made my decision, instead of spending more than half the day there, it only took a few hours to finalize the price and everything. I felt so bad that we kept him after hours but he was so gracious and just happy that I finally got the car I wanted. Top 5 Reasons to go to Longo Lexus: 1) Man Wong - My service advisor of 11 years and counting...Always professional and always going above and beyond. Man works with the techs to inspect my car while in for routine service and on more than one occasion, future needed repairs were identified saving me several return trips and inconvenience! Also, Man always makes sure on the billing that I'm getting a good value out of my visits, follows up daily, and even replies to email while on off days and late evenings (to the point that I feel bad since I would have just waited the next day to send the correspondence if I had known he would take customer service that far). Man also schedules my appointments in the system for me, whereas other dealers require that you make the calls yourself to the loan cars department, or log into an online account yourself to do your own bookings. 2) Expertise - The techs at Longo have always shown me a concerted effort in getting the job done right the first time. There was only one hiccup in the last 11, where there was a minor differential oil drip a couple of days after an extensive repair was finished on the rear axles. That seemed like it was more related to the severity of the original mechanical damage than a labor or technical issue and they changed the differential oil and replaced the axle seals without charge. Problem solved and differential/axles still running fine 3 years later. 3) Loan Cars - Longo's loan car department is well managed and I have always found their personnel to be professional and willing to work with me. Never ran out of loan cars in the past 10 years and the cars were generally clean and without issues. 4) Waiting Area - the remodel that was mentioned in other reviews on here caused some inconvenience, sure. But the facility now looks better than any service facility I've seen at any dealership. Very warm and comfortable environment with charging ports for phones and laptops, nice chairs, you get to see the work being done by the techs through the glass wall overlooking the techs' workstations, and they still offer free pastries and drinks! 5) Car Buying - I bought my Lexus from Longo originally and still remember the pleasant experience. Ok I came in to test drive their lastest IS f sport 2021 FWD in blue color (because I saw someone driving that car at night and became obsessed with the color and design) Lexus by far is famous for being very meticulous with the details on their cars especially with the colors. The experience was amazing because that car was super fast and smooth that you don't even feel like you're driving a car. It was almost as if I was flying on the freeway but it was fun. However, I still heard wind noises and wasn't so impressed with the dashboard look. I think it's time for Lexus to upgrade on that in order to keep up with other brands. Although, I still love my current Lexus car and will miss the service I received from Longo. I somewhat got tired of all the maintenance and oil changes. Therefore, I'm going with Tesla. I was interested in getting my car ceramic coated soon after receiving my ES350. A couple of my friends suggested I invest in a ceramic coat, and at the time I didn't know much about the process other than it protects your car. I fortunately had the pleasure of talking with a Lexus Technology Expert, Emilio, and he patiently explained the entire process to me and was very transparent about the price point along with what it included. After learning more about the service and talking with Emilio I decided to ceramic coat my car and I could not be any happier with my decision. ASK FOR ANTHONY husband just got me a fancy lexus, & i don't think any dealer can dare beat the price AND service. came in Christmas eve to sign & pick up, and my car was ready, shiny and happy. paperwork was a cinch. prepped 2 ways in case we wanted this one option. When they say $0 down, they literally mean that. not like other dealers (or my other experience) of having to pay for DMV this, or fee that, or first months payment etc etc Anthony even took the time out to orient me to the car & start with the basic set up of linking my phone via Bluetooth & turning on all the fancy functions, like blind spot blinker. planning to come in next week to learn how to operate the other goodies, cuz i just don't got time to read that giant manual. He took us out on a test drive for less than 5 minutes in a 2009 IS250. We also wanted to test drive the IS350 and Tom implied that it might be out of our budget. WHAT??? Why judge someone by how they look and discriminate? When we got back to the dealership he said had a previous appointment, then ran off somewhere. Then we were told by the guy who referred us to Tom that the salesmen don't get paid to do test drives. Kary, I understand it is not Longo's decision on determining whether my paint damage is under warranty or not... However, I didn't spend close to $46,000 on a car with a paint job that can't withstand "outside influences". I feel the paint is flawed or the clear-coat is (why didn't it protect the paint?). I also have an Acura TL that's ten years old. The paint on my TL is worn but looks nothing like my IS. I alternate driving my TL and IS. They both go to same places and yet the paint on my Acura looks way better than my IS. It is my consumer duty to say, "buyer beware!" to those interested in buying a Lexus. Btw...I have read online posts from people complaining about the paint on their Lexus. read more

*This review is for the service area only* My husband and I made an appt for 9AM on a weekday and showed up 5 minutes ahead of time. -15 min to be seen by an attendant, the meetings itself was only 5 min since it was standard maintenance. We were told it was going to take 1.5-2 hours so we requested a courtesy shuttle to drop us off at work (6-7 miles away) -45-50 min for the shuttle to arrive -3.5 hours for car to be done -20 min wait for valet to bring car up front. My car is new and all it needed was an oil change. :( If I had all the time in the world and nothing to do, I'd imagine just sitting for 4 hours in their lobby drinking coffee would be pleasant, however NO ONE has that much time to waste! Super fast and well, the car stopped saying maintenance needed :) I'll be back for servicing for my new car as this location is an easy stop off the 10 if I visit my parents in the SGV. As for sales, 2 stars. Longo Toyota/Lexus is HUGE. And in terms of sales #1 said some kind of chart on their wall. Lots to choose from! Our salesperson (whose identity I will withhold) was really knowledgeable but I don't think he understood that I was looking to buy then and there. Since my car was deemed totaled and I was driving a horrible Chevy rental, I NEEDED a car so I was going to buy. Period. He just didn't seem like he wanted to make a sale. While this was my first car-buying experience, just in terms of overall vibe and service from other sales experience, he missed the mark. Sadie Ching was the sales person at Longo who served me and she was absolutely wonderful, knowledgable and helpful. She was focused on my vision of a dream car and was at all times considerate of my budget. She listened to exactly what I envisioned, spent time showing me various cars that fit and encouraged me to explore various options that I was not aware of. I never felt pressured, was never made to wait and never felt uncomfortable as I have at other dealerships. After looking at several vehicles, I selected one but I wasn't 100% sure. AAA members should know they can get a better price by talking to a fleet manager as opposed to a sales person. No need to haggle. So far so good. I was able to talk to a guy named Mark. I got his number through AAA by calling them. He gave me a decent price based off of my info. He even told me about the Lexus Loyalty program. Make sure you ask about it!! He has been very helpful, patient, and understanding throughout times we've done business. There may be a few goof ups once in a while, but we were able to over come whatever complicated that challenged us. Longo parts department does not deliver to shops, and that's very inconvenient for us. But Kevin has been generous enough to offer to drop off the parts after hours. That's how awesome this guy is! I been getting my car service done a few times and it's been pretty smooth. You get there, check in your car, a rep will go over your service, and you wait for your service to be done. St the end they might vacuum your car and will wash the car. I've also had to get new tire after getting a flat on the freeway. There customer service and organization is pretty on par. Wait time is usually 1-2 hours. Sometimes they have shuttle service depending on where your going. They have drinks, snacks, and computers along with wifi to make the wait time bearable.
