I have been a Lexus owner for nearly 15 and quite frankly, do not feel any special nor privileged for being a Lexus owner until this past weekend. Thus, I feel obligated to write to you to tell you about my experience at your store located at Longo Lexus in El Monte. First, Michael Chico is a God send! From the moment that I drove up to the service line, he treated me like a VIP member (and that alone sets him and the store apart from any other stores). I was there for a recall and did not have an appointment. They were overbooked, I asked if there is any hope as I can't get my tags renewed without the recall signed off. Michael said he would do his best to fit me in. Amazingly, he squeezed me in but reminded me that I may not make it to AAA in time to get my DMV tags straightened out. He assured me that he would try his very best to get me out before AAA closes and that he did!! Wow! Personally, I am so grateful and thankful to have met Michael Chico. He made me feel as if I were a part of his own family - treating me like a royal VIP in every way. He stood by me through every step of the service and going the extra mile. I even got a full tank of gas! Complete Shi* show today at the service. They have completed overbook appointments & no loaner cars when they specifically said loaner is available per my service. Otherwise, i would not take it to this dealer. Appt at 11:30am, arrived early at 10:37, waited in the lobby for 54 minutes to be called by a service adviser. No kidding, An entire 54 minutes just to be called at 11:31 to be exact by service adviser Frank. Took 5 minutes went over paper work, was instructed to wait in the lobby again for a tech to come test drive the car to verify the noise. Waiting another 45 minutes for the tech to come around 12:18pm, test drove for 1 minute and verified the noise. Then went to loaner department, said no loaner available, went back to frank, he said he ll get me a enterprise rental car instead next door. Checked in with enterprise, waited 30 minutes just to be told they are completely out of car. Went back to frank and said ill just take my car else where. Note i left at 1:33pm, almost a 3 whole hour of waste. These people have way over book their appointments, there is at least 50+ people in their lobby, as i was sitting and waiting, i have seen at least 8 people come up to the front desk and complaint waiting. a complete shit show today. Today, I went in for a scheduled maintenance for my Lexus ES350 and felt that the customer service is getting worse and worse every time I come in. I've been coming here for almost 15 years. I only saw few employees working here smiling at the customer. They are friendly and smiling among themselves only but not to the customers. The place was so noisy worse than the market place... Longo Lexus should have a better customer service training for the employees. Hope the management know the customers don't say much but we are all watching and experiencing the service. read more

Now that I've been in the Longo family for 2 years, I figured I'd update my review for the rest of the staff. I always go to Julien Diaz for any services, like oil changes, tire rotation, alignment, etc. He's great at communicating honestly what our car needs to stay in good shape. He keeps me updated on the process, and always goes above and beyond when I make a request. I also love that he always has a loan car available for me to use while my car is being serviced (the cookies in the lobby don't hurt!). A month ago, another driver ran into my car, and I brought it to the Longo Collision Center. Anthony Molino took great care of our concerns, and made sure the other party's insurance covered new OEM parts (they refused originally). Easily reached by email or phone, Anthony carefully and patiently answered all questions I had about the insurance process, and walked me through the whole thing. And finally, good ol' Rony Parada. Due to the aforementioned collision, Anthony let me know that the previous owner decided to glue back the bumper, which wasn't noticed during Longo's Certified Pre-Owned check. I told Rony about it, and even though we've had the vehicle for 2 years, he had the sales team cover the cost of fixing it! 5-star service for the entire Longo family. read more

Usually I don't write reviews but this time I have to share my satisfying experience with Longo Lexus. I visited Longo Lexus on 6/29 (four months before lease end) for maintenance. While I was waiting to get my car checked, I wanted to explore what options I have for an early return and that's how I met Hieu Le who assisted me. Hieu engaged in our conversation immediately with a positive attitude and smiling face. He displayed colors and models on his monitors so I could actually visualize each car. He tried to meet my needs and expectations about the color, concerns about indoor space, side molding bars, monthly payment etc and finally I found a car I wanted and I decided to return my existing one and get a new one. During almost one and a half hours of consultation, he maintained a welcoming vibe and answered all my questions and concerns so when I left Longo Lexus, I didn't have any doubt with my choice. On 7/3, the day of vehicle delivery, only just a couple hours before the car is supposed to be delivered, I realized I have installed dash-cam to my existing Lexus. So I talked to Hieu that I have to reschedule delivery in order to remove the dash-cam. He noticed I was disappointed for not getting the new car and he put all his effort to find any possible ways to get me the new car without delay. Finally we decided to get the new car as scheduled and he's going to take a look if he can remove the dash-cam. When he arrived with the new car, of course I was happy to have a new car and luckily he was able to remove the dash-cam himself. From consultation all the way through vehicle delivery, he truly made me feel Lexus treats me as a valued customer. My initial thought when I visited Longo Lexus was I'm going to switch to another vehicle brand if I'm not satisfied with options and Hieu changed my mind. It's not just selling a car. It's all about how you treat people and put an effort to meet their needs. I also give a big compliment to Frank Lorusso for his friendly and professional attitude during maintenance process and Jackson who came to my place with Hieu to do payperwork and get rid of the dash-cam and the lady sitting right next to Hieu (I don't recall her name..) for her very friendly attitude while she's checking if I'm eligible for early return options. Actually when she introduced me to Hieu, she said I'm in good hands so no need to worry about getting the best deal. Observing those great team playing gave me huge confidence in both of them and the dealer. All the people I met at Longo, all of them was so great to demonstrate professionalism and displayed attitude how they value their customers. They all deserve a huge shout out. Hi. I luv my 2007 Lexus 350 ES, but I needed a small SUV, with a hitch, to tow bikes and stuff, so I came in to Longo Lexus. My salesperson was Stephen Tran. He is a knowledgeable, energetic, likeable person. Without much prompting, he obtained a fantastic deal for me! I received a reasonable trade-in amount for my 350 ES,$5,000, and he found two hidden rebates, which added up to an additional $2,000 in unexpected savings for me! Mr. Tran also stayed late to process my purchase and contract, so that I would not have to return on another day. He wanted to make sure that my apparatus was synced in with the new car, which is a 2017 NX 200T. He also offered additional assistance with the GPS or any other feature in the car, should I need more explanation, on future visits or service. WORST SERVICE EVER!!! My BF brought his LS460 here for service a few months back, right after we drove it off the lot, one of the hose in his engine exploded. But Lexus wouldn't acknowledge it was their mistake until he filed a complaint to corporate. Only then, they were willing to replace the part but AT OUR EXPENSE. Now, few months later, we decided not to hold a grudge, and give them a second chance. We brought it in for TPM replacement and standard service. Everything was fine when we brought the car in, but once again, we received a phone call saying his tire beading ripped upon removal, required replacement and requesting us to pay for the cost... for something they screwed up. Even though after complaining, they were able to compensate for it. But upon getting the car back, there was no car wash AND they scratched my BF's rims... Thank you for all the trouble but we shall look elsewhere when another service is due. read more

I just have to tell you all about my positive experience with Longo Lexus of El Monte and with my sales rep Vincent Dinh. I went 8/24/16 only to just look, possibly test drive. I was in the market for a Lexus but didn't think much of it since I was just looking and unsure of my credit. One of my good friends just got her Lexus from this location and just raved about her experience. My good friend and moral support that accompanied me to Longo that afternoon, also mentioned 3 of her friends purchased their car from Longo and how they loved their customer service and enjoyed their experience. Vincent met my friend and I, greeted us and was very professional and polite. I had no knowledge of what the kinds of trim's there are with the LEXUS IS250. Who knew there were so many options to consider, and of course the different price points. He was very informative about the product, very polite and just had a really relaxed feel about his approach to my situation of finding a car. I def knew I wanted a Lexus IS250. But I didn't know which one! My dear friend who came with me asked all the pertinent questions. Vincent was very receptive, and answered all her questions and mine too. I can't say enough how polite and professional he was towards us. After the tour of what was available it was time to test drive! Of course a nervous wreck! I had never driven anything like this before. But the one I selected to test drive the 2014 IS250 in Atomic Silver! Well it was love at first sight first of all. I knew that right off the bat. But the drive wow! Just wow! Just a side note, I know the IS250 doesn't have a huge V6 engine but it suffices for what I need it for. The sports mode def will give it that kick you want to step on it. Vincent the whole time was telling me about the certain functions of the car, and all these fun facts that the car can do, and cannot do. He even answered my question about where the gas cap is! Well the test drive ended and I'm on cloud 9 by that point. I knew I had to have this car. So the time came to crunch the numbers! Vincent the whole time was just super informative about the car, about the Lexus product and really just gave good reviews about working for this particular dealership and why it is the #1 Lexus Dealer. The paperwork of course is a pain but hey I'm signing my life away for this car. Well the time came for the #s, and Vincent knew I was concerned about my credit. I honestly didn't think I would qualify especially for a Lexus. The deal was too hard to pass up, and it was something I was comfortable with. Sure I have to work a little more but that's okay. I deserve the car. After the paperwork with Vincent, I met the financial manager Nurul (super friendly and professional) to get all the details of the contract etc. Before you know it! My 2014 IS250 was waiting for me to take it off the lot. I thanked Vincent for his experience and all his help. He truly truly made a difference in my life. I couldn't get over how polite, professional and just relaxed he was. He wasn't trying to sell me something I didn't need or God forbid a 2016 model. He was just real, polite, and as he put it. If things aren't what I want, "no hard feelings." That's what got me the most is that he didn't make me feel guilty for not having perfect credit or not worthy of the car. Kary completely corroborated my timeline, yet try to make it seem like I got speedy service and COMPLETELY ignored the point of my complaint: my pre-arranged loaner NOT BEING AVAILABLE and being stranded in a crowded waiting area during the pandemic. I got my Toyota from Longo Toyota and my Lexus from Longo Lexus. I've been a huge fan and supporter for the Longo dealership but my experience today was absolutely horrible. This chinese guy named Tom helped me and he didn't even bother trying to get to know me. Not a smile or asking me questions to know a client. Longo used to be known for their genuineness and sincerity in wanting to help you find the best car. This guy Tom asks from the start "what's your budget? How much you want to spend? What do you want?" Not even a "how are you doing today? How can I help you? Have you been with Longo before?" After I said what my budget was he said that I could only qualify for a CT. Which I know is BS. Told him my budget was $400-500 and he says that? He also said "you can find all the information online". What kind of BS is that? And by the way, this guy picks up a phone call in the middle of our meeting and I haven't even sat down for longer than 2-3 minutes. He didn't even apologize or ask to get the call. When I got my Lexus years back the sales guy at the time was very sincere and he cared for what you wanted. He listened. But Tom? He just cares about meeting his sales quota. You're just another sales in his book. I'm so disappointed in Longo Lexus. What happened to treating your clients like clients? BUYER BEWARE. This dealer Likes to be dishonest and withhold info. Do not sign any paperwork until they give you all the details; make sure you ask ??. They are deceiving. I went to buy a GS 350 2016 . Sergio Orozco offered me a good deal. He then failed to tell me I had to sign off paperwork as if I were buying a used car and he also failed to tell me that the warranty took effect back in June of 2016 even though I am purchasing in Dec 2016. When you purchase a used car they give you a warranty that has unlimited miles but he stated that he could not include this warranty in the deal. So why am I signing off DMV paperwork that the car is Used. He ran my credit, and made me go through all this ordeal to then give me the real info. read more
