This review is specific to their parts department and Gabriel especially. I have two Lexus dealerships within 10 min of me in San Diego. I called both trying to order a part for my Lexus GX. Both said the part was on back order and wouldn't come in until the end of August at best. I go online and find the same part at Longo and it is discounted. I make the order online and Gabriel called me right away and told me the part was-in fact-on back order but that he would do everything possible to get it to me within a week. Sure enough, 4 days later he calls and said the part arrived and he would get it to me right away. I woke up the next morning with it on my doorstep. Just fantastic service all around. read more

This review is long overdue. I was in the market for buying my first luxury car. I had researched various cars and was looking at Lexus based on its reputation for long lasting and reliable cars. However, I was going back and forth and could not make a decision. 5 STARS to salesman ERIC KIM, who was extremely patient and understanding. It took me several hours to decide in buying my car (I know, I know--it was excrutiating because I was indecisive) and he was extremely patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and gave me a great deal on the car! I have no regrets in buying my car and he deserves 5 stars for helping me through the process! Even after I bought my car, when I had questions, he was very responsive and helpful! Excellent customer service! Ever since I've bought my car, I've come for oil changes and car maintenance. The service waiting area is clean and stocked with donuts and drinks! I like that they have huge windows so customers can see whats going on inside the service garage area. 5 STARS also to my service advisor ERIC ANAYA, who is extremely friendly, very responsive through texts, and knowledgeable! My 2007 IS250 instrument cluster needles are burned out. I think this is common problem for IS250. I took it in and Man Wong help me set up the paper works for the Lexus Goodwill assistance. Man explain to me the process and gave me loaner car. Big Thanks to Lexus for approve me for the Goodwill assistance and Longo Lexus for repair my IS250. The second time I went in is because my parking brake warning light is not working on the new instrument cluster. This time is Edward Duran help me and he also told me they have the new airbag and new dashboard for the recall on my IS250. I'm very happy for the services from the Longo Lexus. My next car will be Lexus and I will buy it from Longo Lexus. The only small negative I can think about is I have to wait almost 15 minutes to pick up my car. There are at least three employees standing next to a pretty lady with a modified IS250. They just standing there and talking. Meanwhile there are at least 10 cars waiting in line. If the employees are busy then I don't mind the wait but they just standing there talking. read more

Spoke to Internet representative Gabriel O (if that's even his name) and he was quite rude. Typical buying experience you would expect; waste your time then try to get you in the dealership so they can waste more of your valuable time until you capitulate and overpay for a car. 5 Stars for Edward - Service department 3 Stars for Man Wong - Service department 5+ Stars for Sal - Security department SERVICE DEPT - Took my 2015 IS here for maintenance and a recall Friday morning. When I called earlier to schedule the appointment, they said the recall would take a couple hours to fix so they would provide me with a loaner. My appointment was at 11 but I had to be somewhere else at 11.30, so they were able to accommodate my request to get the loaner earlier at 10. I arrived at 10:00 and waited 20 min to talk to service advisor (which is not bad because that Friday was especially busy). My service advisor, Edward was nice and personable and gave his direct number to call and pick up my car but he said he wasn't going to be here on Saturday. So his teammate would help me. Flash forward to me picking up my car, his replacement on his team, Man Wong was slightly condescending when he asked me a couple questions about the car (after reading some other reviews, I wasn't the only one who experienced this) Maybe I was being defensive because I'm wary of what dealerships tell me but did not appreciate his tone. Would not want him as my service advisor next time. I got my car, the tank was filled, the car was washed and vacuumed (I hear they machine wash the cars so let them know if you don't want them to wash your car) SECURITY DEPT - Came home and realized I may have left my jacket in the backseat of the loaner vehicle and I didn't remember ever taking it out. Called Longo and they patched me to the security department for the lost and found (service dept was closed by the time I called). A man named Sal picked up and checked the Lost and Found for me (jacket wasn't there) asked a couple questions about the loaner vehicle, and actually went out of his way to locate the vehicle and look in the backseat for my jacket. By this point I felt so bad because I could have waited til Monday to call the service dept when they opened, and Sal could have told me to call back on Monday but he didn't. I truly appreciated his assistance - Such great service! He told me he unfortunately couldn't find the jacket (he actually sounded bummed) and provided me with a couple options and possibilities on how to locate it and I was very grateful for his help. Dennis was able to set everything up BEFORE we arrived, and then was super patient with my 79 year old parents on their new 2020 Lexus! Normally you get one or the other, a sales person that can be on their toes for a customer that KNOWS what they want. (But then that's their speed all the time and don't know how to deal with folks not as "technically inclined.") This is an updated review. A few weeks ago, Craig Wolfson reached out to resolve things. He assured me that I would get my money back and said that I shouldn't have been charged for the lost keys in first place. Craig was extremely quick, professional, and pleasant. He called me with a status update at the end of each week saying that my case was not lost and is being worked on. About three weeks after initially talking to Craig, Lexus financial sent me a check for $750. They didn't return $70 (tax), but I wasn't going to waste any more time fighting that battle. I'm just happy I got the majority of it back! It's unfortunate that I had such a bad experience with the other Lexus Longo reps because Craig handled things like a boss. He knows what he's doing and how to handle problems. It's infinitely better than the "I'm not sure" or "I'll call you back" response that the other representatives gave me. If you have a problem that the reps can't solve, I highly recommend not wasting time and directly speaking to a manager or supervisor. ______________________________________________________________________________ Absolutely the worst customer service I have received from a car dealership! My mom returned her leased Lexus this past July and the dealership confirmed that they received everything. They gave us a signed checklist with all the inventory they received so we thought everything was good. A few weeks later, we receive a huge invoice from Lexus financial stating that they did not receive keys. However, we returned everything and had the signed documents to prove this. After countless hours of calling Lexus financial, they said that the actual silver key fobs in the alarm were missing. We called the dealership to figure out what happened to the keys throughout their inspection process. Spoke with a guy named Dickson and he said he'd look for the keys and call me back. He said that that they would never return the car without a thorough inspection and that if two key fobs were missing their team would have definitely noticed it. I never received a call back even after waiting a week. I called the dealership to check in and he said he would call Lexus to sort things out. A few hours later I receive a call and he said that he cleared everything with Lexus financial. He sounded annoyed and said he did me a FAVOR by calling Lexus. He said everything was clear. No Dickson, you did your JOB. At this point, I didn't trust the dealership by the way the handled this case so I called Lexus financial directly to see if this was true. Lexus financial said that nothing was cleared and that Dickson called the wrong department. We proceeded to do a 3-way call with him and the first ten minutes the Lexus financial guy basically trained Dickson on who to call and how to check for these type of cases. I still don't know what happened and how TWO keys could've been missing, especially when the dealership confirmed they received everything. I can't help but to think there was foul play here. Regardless, I spent countless days, weeks, hours trying to figure this out with the dealership. Talked to another guy named Rick and he said he'd help me look into this. He said to give him a couple days and that he'd call me back after figuring this out. So I waited patiently. I waited over a week and still no call back. I called Rick again and he said to call Erica who actually did the inspection. Erica did not answer the several times I called her so I asked Rick to leave a message to please call me back about an update for these missing keys. I still have not heard from Longo Lexus.... I read a few Yelp reviews below and it seems like I'm not the only one who dealt with a similar case like this. To anyone who's looking to buy or lease a Lexus from Longo, I would seriously reconsider. I bought a brake actuator for my GS460 from Longo auto parts. At first I was apprehensive to buy because this part was very expensive. After talking to Chris I took the plunge. Well the part was ordered and I received a email stating a tracking# had been created. After a day or two I noticed no movement through the tracking number on this parcel and did I get nervous. I called and spoke with someone other than Chris, who was off that day, that the package was picked up by the post office mail carrier. Not true. Called the next day and got Chris. Explained to him what happened and immediately he started a investigation. Within 20 minutes he notified me that he located the package and took it to the Post Office himself. I was so relieved. Within days I received the package. Also he refunded my money for expedited services. If I could, I would give Chris 10 stars. Very rare that you find this type of excellent service. My wife and I had visited numerous dealerships and test drove numerous models, and had finally narrowed down our search to the 2017 Lexus RX350 F Sport in Ultra White with black interior. A few of the local dealerships we had first visited were not too helpful, and when asked questions about its specs and features, didn't have the best overall knowledge of the vehicle. As a prepared & informed consumer, these initial encounters at the Lexus dealerships didn't sit too well with me, as I felt I had a better understand of the car than their sales team. After talking with a close family member, I was pointed in the direction of Longo Lexus. Having ties to Longo himself, he contacted the sales director and mentioned our interest in a new car. Later that same day, Rony Parada, one of Longo's sales team, contacted me and we had a conversation about exactly what my wife and I were looking for. After gathering our information, not even a day later he had sent me a list of vehicles they currently had in stock that matched our criteria. After a bit of negotiation via phone and email, we reached what I believed to be a fair and honest deal for the car. Two days later, my wife and I stopped by the dealership to take ownership of our beautiful new RX350 F Sport. He then spent the next 45 minutes walking us through the entire car and all its features, setting up the bluetooth on both of our phones, and making sure we were 100% comfortable with our new car. Several of my friends and clients suggested to look at Longo as I have been "building" my Lexus NX for almost a year now. I hesitantly contacted Longo via chat to do some initial and basic inquiry. A day later, George King contacted me via email, being very respectful of my wish to communicate via email until the vehicle with my wishes with specs was in stock. I specifically wanted the Lexus NX 200t F-Sports with Atomic Silver and Rioja Red. He immediately informed me of an available one from another dealer, and asked me if I wanted him to lock it in. All these times, George was very respectful of communicating via email. After the online application of credit check etc... was done, he called to confirm he would pick it up himself to put it in their lot! George King found me the exact model I wanted, and it was fully-loaded. I didn't want all the bells and whistles, but I can't complain! The price range was good, and they even worked to make sure I get it for a little lower, and get more from my trade-in value. The trade-in process itself got complicated and time-consuming due to some unforeseen problems, but George never let up. It was late, but he was extremely patient. His sales manager Kevin Holley even came out to brainstorm all the scenarios to make everything possible. Problem solved, and I came home with the NX I wanted! I was looking for a new weekend car. Ford Mustang or RC 350. Went to a few Ford dealers, and shopped online. They did not have the cars they listed online. Of course, 460 horsepower would have been cool. But with class action lawsuits and failing brake pedals, who needs the aggravation. Asked Longo for a bid. Got a great bid and they delivered the car. It pains me to write a negative review on Longo. We have purchase 2 Lexus and 1 Toyota from them in the past without a single issue. This time around they actually did a Switcheroo on me. I visited them yesterday to replace our 2016 IS350 with a 2019 IS350. They agreed on the price I requested and then I realized they quote me on the IS300. Good thing I caught it on the paper before going any further. Renegotiate the price on the new 350 they just wouldn't budge. I left and when got the same car later in the evening at Crown Lexus with much better deal. What a waste of time and most likely will not return to them anymore in the future. read more

Like some of the comments stated below Hiue was condescending and patronizing. He made me feel so unwanted because of my credit history despite having a down payment and co signer. That response made me walk away. My co signer has good credit and with my down payment I decided to go else where. The Lexus corporation is huge and does not need my business, but I did want to encourage others to avoid this particular Lexus dealership because of the customer service.
