When it's on sale it's most probably the best deal you're gonna get but whatever you need somehow they just have it at Long's Wether it's a craving for food or drinks or just need a card to thank a friend this is the spot to find it all along with many locally made items. This location does have a photo department as well while at another location I've gotten my passport photo taken along with process photo and yes my prescriptions as well. Just wanna say that the customer service is great. The employees are really friendly and informative on what products they have and don't have however, the men's restroom is deplorable. It's the dirtiest public restroom I've ever seen inside of Longs, CVS or Walgreens, even on the mainland stores are cleaner. If the employee are supposed to wash their hands I'd hope they're using a cleaner bathroom facilities for employees! If not, I'm wondering if they even wash their hands. If they share this bathroom with customers then shame on upper management and the owner. It smells like human piss and mold. Not healthy environment for either customers or employees. Love that you can make an appointment to get your flu shot and newest Covid shot by using the CVS app. They offer other vaccines too. Like the idea that you can choose which pharmacy location and time to receive your shots. You even get a coupon for $5 off a $20 purchase. Once you arrive check in at the pharmacy counter. I arrived early and there were 4 people ahead of me. I booked 3 shots but the RSV one was cancelled since I'm not 75 years old. That's new cuz last year I got it. They call your name then you enter a little blocked off enclosure for privacy with two chairs in there. Cory asked me which arm or one in each arm? I chose both in my left side. I asked is this the one you massage or don't touch it. Answer: don't touch it but don't baby your arm and move it around. He was good at administering both shots. Hardly felt it at all. Picked up my prescription and it was not what the doctor had ordered. Instead of giving me the right prescription which did not need a machine to dispense the medication, they give me medication that had to be administered via a machine. I didn't know about the error until I got home. Needless to say, they would not take back the prescription back and I had to either buy the machine or pay for another prescription. They never even apologized. The whole pharmacy has an attitude problem and completely disregard the feelings of their customers. I am never going back to that place. This not the first time they have made a mistake and they refused to give any type of compensation for their error. read more

We went in to pickup medicine and do some shopping,we got most of our stuff but they were out of the mayonnaise that was on sale so I asked for some help they went to check the back and didn't have so the guy who helped me was like well we have the smaller ones I can give you two for the price of the larger one I said said sure that would be great. Just recently moved to Mililani (being in the Army does moves me a lot) and one of my only go to spot when I need something is Longs. I noticed that many people complain about the line being long at Longs online, but I couldn't really see what they are talking about, it is long cuz a lot of people goes there, a lot of them old folks who are either taking so long at self-checkout or would rather want to go through the registers, it could be worse, I couldn't really blame the employees since it's just a small town store (not like walmart or costco) and they are doing the best they could even when they're on their breaks. The only downside is that they run out of things quite fast which is understandable since it's a popular spot. Been recommending it to my buddies and other service members, 5 out of 5 customer service and 5 out of 5 overall. read more

I just discovered that you can drop off and pick-up UPS items from this location! as long as you have a UPS label on your item, they will accept the package to be delivered via UPS. I discovered this because the UPS delivery person left a slip for me to pick up my item here at Longs! Very convenient, and 4 stars for this reason only. As far as the Longs location itself, it is very close to my home, and is a go to for misc. needs, but they are not very well stocked, and the cashiers are never happy here. read more

I hardly shop at longs let alone the Mauka store... if I do need anything, I used to go to the one next to Safeway... but that one closed... but anyways, decided to go today because there was a lot of items I needed that was on sale. I was ready to checkout but the cashier line (only one was open) was long but the self checkout had some registers open. I always have a hard time with these registers... something always goes wrong, but I was in a rush and didn't want to wait in line. Well, I should have. This self checkout is ridiculous. You have to put your actual own bags in the bucket along with everything you scanned. My helpful husband was trying to arrange the items I already scanned but it kept on screwing up the weight of the item so I had to wait for the one and only cashier. She came to help me (she had to leave her line), so I continued. Something else went wrong and I was getting kind of irritated. The cashier came again and i told her I can figure it out because she had a line. I did ask her if she's the only one up front and she said yes. I want to thank the one and only cashier doing everything! I am very disappointed with the management and CVS! To put all of these self checkout in the stores and only one cashier manning everything up front by herself. It was really a shit show! Walmart has self checkouts but they also have staff to assist. So does times and Safeway. It's called customer service! But it looks like CVS only cares about sales. This will probably be the last time I shop at CVS. read more

The shelf had 20 oz Vitamin Water 3/$5. At the register it was wrung up regular price so I said there was a mistake. The cashier checked the shelf and came back visibly irritated saying it was wrong. She corrected my purchase but was upset and I got the impression she was mad at me. When the transaction was complete I said thank you and she refused (or was too preoccupied) to acknowledge me. I was the one who had to waste my time while this was going on. Several people behind me switched to a different check out line. I was not upset because I was not in a hurry. read more

Answer: Pretty much nothing more embarrassing than that! Thank you Longs Drugs Mililani Mauka for being so discreet that you announce to the world that I am picking up something that I am putting up my v%#%%...I mean, really, really, THANK YOU. I value and honor my privacy and I thought those printed footsteps on the ground that say STAY BACK FOR PATIENT PRIVACY actually meant something, but obviously doesn't apply to auditory content, apparently!!! I was also perturbed a week before that when I pulled into drive-through lane #2 and got totally ignored and the guy that came in after me got helped first in drive through lane #1. I was so mad I drove off without picking up the #%#$#$ medicine, I mean, I had to come back in person to be totally embarrassed in the flesh. Maybe I should have bit my pride and stayed in lane #2 and waited and then I wouldn't have been embarrassed in front of everyone (father, two boys - who probably didn't hear because if they did they would have been laughing for sure). The rest of the shopping experience has been pretty good and the pharmacy mostly decent, except for the HIPPA blunders of loudly announcing your medical ailments to the rest of the world, and the preference of the techs choosing drive-through lane #1 over lane #2 - no matter if you were there first in lane #2. Next time I need medication that involves private parts, I'm driving through lane #1 and hope that they don't broadcast my medications over loudspeaker. read more

Came here to drop off a prescription paper I received from the ER. The guy ringing it up verified my insurance and asks if I'm picking it for someone. The insurance was incorrect and come to find out, the prescription paper wasn't even mines! I should have looked at it and noticed it was written for a 90 year man! WTH! But nobody likes to spend anymore time in the ER and I wanted out. I thanked him and immediately called the hospital to tell them what almost went wrong. Drive thru pharmacy! Say what! I am slowly starting to transfer any prescriptions my family or I need to this one so that I can just stop by the drive thru and pick it up. Makes life so much easier. walking in in pajamas cause you don't feel well is already bad enough. Now drive thru! Whoop whoop! Finally getting with the decades longs! Round of applause. As for the merchandise, I haven't had any issues with cashiers or associates walking around. The coupon machines are usually working although typing in my number almost never works.. Aside from that, I can pretty much find what I need and I'm out of there in a jiffy. The parking lot is another different story. Such sharp tight turns doesn't allow room for both car going in and coming out to surpass. I'll either have to wait til they exit in order to turn in or take those sharp turns if I have enough room. Other than that, there's usually enough stalls and it's not too tight. read more

My last review was about a year ago and I commended the pharmacy being the only GOOD thing about this store. But now, the pharmacy is similiar to the rest of the store. First, they are always short staffed. There are 2-3 techs either on the phone, assisting drive thru, filling meds. Shut down the drive thru when its busy and focus on the long line of customers! Also, the techs totally disregard and ignore the long lines and the one poor clerk, gotta help customers pick up their meds. Customer service is NO longer a priority, which explains the lack of Longs commercials. Do not make Longs a part of your day! That should be the jingle. Oh and they have one cashier in the front who doubles as a cashier at register 1 and she also in charge of the self check out. There are many times when the self check out has problems and the customers gotta wait cuz the cashier is ringing out another customer in line. UNREAL!!!!! When she pau, she run over to the self check out side and resolve the issue. Then run back to cash register 1. We are planning soon to move our Rx prescriptions to the Town center. Their pharmacy is bigger, got more staff and faster service. read more

I come to this Longs location almost every week. This longs is very close to where I live, making it super convenient. I ride TheBus and I end up taking the bus and getting off right next to longs. The prices at the store are moderate, but affordable for me. The staff is usually friendly, but there was these staff member who made me feel very uncomfortable and out of place, which really upsets me because the staff was nice to me every time before that. I would love to give this longs 5 stars and shop more often, but since that incident I haven't returned and that's why this longs is getting four stars from me. read more

Imagine as you fall in line, there is no rhyme or reason for the line you're in. gift cards cannot be purchased at the self checkout, having the sales associate calling another cashier to open up her line. You're shifted to the side, however an old lady cuts in thr front. So you are backed up in many lines. The associate has no ability to manage their lines. very frustrating. Lately I've been finding myself running to this store for last minute Asian ingredients that I need to complete a recipe that I'm trying for the first time. Last week I was in the middle of making Pad Thai when I realized the dried shrimp I bought last year has exceeded its best-buy date. Last night I was in the middle of making salt and pepper Chinese style pork chops when I ran out of potato starch. Since Longs is the closest store to me, I'm grateful that they carry Asian items as well as American products you would normally find at Longs Drugs in the mainland. That's the beauty of this store. I can pick up nail polish, medication, cheap makeup, eggs, and even get my flu shot all in one place. There are plenty of parking spaces and most of the cashiers are very friendly. I've only experienced one rude cashier who scolded me and gave me a major attitude when I paid her with a $1 bill and 3 pennies that I placed on the conveyor belt. Apparently she just got her nails painted and was upset that she had to scoop up the money using her nails that she didn't want scratched. I was too busy fishing coins out of my coin purse and didn't mean to inconvenience her. Lucky for her, I was there for a last minute purchase because, once again, I needed to pick up a missing ingredient for a meal that I was in the middle of making. Otherwise, I would have asked to speak to her manager and requested she be properly trained on customer service etiquette. My favorite cashiers at this location is Zeny and Ma. They are both very friendly and hard working. I always experience service with a smile from these ladies. One final note, once I came in here to buy a lip stain that my daughter's kumu suggested for an upcoming hula performance. I found the same lip stain at the Longs in Wahiawa but they were out of the particular shade we needed. I drove to this location and they had the lip stain in stock. Unfortunately, the price at this location is $1.50 more than the Wahiawa location. I was told by her kumu that most items are cheaper at the Wahiawa location than the Mililani location. I guess because they know people from Mililani are willing to pay the upcharge. read more

Almost forever ....I'm not quite sure why but whether I'm getting prescriptions or in the case of today, getting a flu shot, it takes almost forever. This isn't one of the busier store, there isn't any line, but it took 30 min just to get called to fill in the paperwork. Then another 10-15 min wait to get the shot. Pharmacy service is kinda slow. For the "regular" store, it is okay in general. Usually not a high traffic location so generally pretty quick. It is nice to have it in Mauka and not have to drive all the way to town center if you need something. read more

DRIVE THRU PHARMACY I had a procedure done and was visiting some friends down this side of the island and needed to drop off and pick up a prescription and was pleasantly surprised when I noticed they had a drive thru pharmacy! I live in town and close by where I live there's a drive thru pharmacy and those things are everything. I dropped off and picked up my prescription within a couple hours and was in and out in less then ten mins. Perfect service :) read more

Well I am 61 years old and in my whole life I have always filled my prescriptions at Longs Drugs. That has come to an end. Today was the last straw. I have been receiving crappy service from Longs Mililani Mauka for years now. Their staff is rude and obnoxious. This Longs is by far the worst Longs ever. I drive out of my way to go to Mililani Marketplace instead, because they have great customer service and it's clean. Mauka Longs is so dirty and the employees hate their jobs. You will never find a shopping cart ready to use by the entrance. All carts are scattered all over the parking lot. There's trash all over the parking lot. You walk in and shelves are empty and no one greets you. when you want to pay, you'll have to stand in a long line and wait for 1 cashier while the other 5 registers are closed. If you use the self checkout, an employee will silently hover over your shoulder the whole time and not say one word to you or ask if you found everything you needed, etc. Mauka longs is depressing, dirty, and just horrible. reminds me exactly of a run down cvs store I went to on the mainland. Really disappointing. Came to the pharmacy and only one cashier with five customers in line. The female pharmacist was there, but she didn't even come to help the customers like the other pharmacist. Then, the prescription wasn't even ready. I called it in over the weekend and was told it would be ready today. I had to wait 20 minutes to get it filled. I'm not sure but thinking of going to another pharmacy or order online. read more

This Longs Drugs pharmacy must be the worst on the island. Very rude pharmacy techs and so unwilling to help. Whenever you call you end up waiting for long period of time and if your lucky to get and answer you get a rude hello. Asking for refills on prescription and excuse is we dont have your prescription or doctor did not respond to our request. Customer service is so unwilling to help and they act as if your a burden. This is the newest CVS/Longs location just blocks away from my home. There's nothing spectacular about it, I only gave the 4th star because it's minutes away from home for me. A lot of times I head out the driveway to Walmart and realize that this store is closer and I'll stop there instead. It's cool since it's never crowded, even on Sunday's when the sales ads go out, it's not crazy busy like the older Pearl City location is. In my opinion, the parking is ample since it's never crowded, tight turns, either that or the drivers aren't that hot in this area. (Yes, I live in the area!!, but I'm a great driver, ha!) read more

This longs is one of my favorites to visit. It is not too packed well I'm not talking about the rush hour of the afternoon or anything but has a moderate traffic inside most of the time. This location is spacious and I love the layout. It's the only longs location I can find everything I looking for. The cashiers and customer service employees are very friendly and courteous to all. I love how I'm greeted at the entrance every time. It makes me feel like an important valued customer and always welcomed here. Even though this particular Longs Drugs is very out of the way for me, this is still by far my favorite Longs to go to. I come to this particular Longs probably two to three times a month. All the employees are very friendly and helpful. Everyone is always and willing to help me find an item and to check if there's more in the stockroom. I don't believe you will this quality service at a majority of other Longs. This Longs is clean and organized and the aisles are spacious. It's well-stocked, and this doesn't seem like a very busy Longs, so you can go in and out very quickly. I wish more Longs had this kind of top-notch customer service. read more

Thank you Colleen at the photo department! I had a brilliant idea of surprising my friend with 31 balloons for her 31st birthday and figured Longs probably had the best deal. What I did not anticipate was how troublesome it can be. Colleen inflated 5 balloons each of 6 different colors, making a huge beautiful bouquet of rainbow floating magic. Then one Mylar pizza slice balloon to top it at 31. 31 balloons is a lot. To add, it was a windy day and I needed to get all that into my car. Colleen was so kind to put them into trash bags so I was technically walking out with 3 giant balloons plus pizza slice! The wind had me thinking "Up" is absolutely possible! Impossible to get it all in the car if they were not batched up. She stayed over her clock out time just to make my birthday surprise happen. Colleen is a gem! Who doesn't love balloons? The customer service is God-awful! There was only one register open and there was a ridiculously long line. They eventually open a couple more registers, but when we try to get in line for one of them, they old us that they were only using that one long line. The cashier that told us that was rude and had a very sassy attitude, as if we were a bother to her. If you open more registers, you open more lines for those registers. It's common sense. Do yourselves a favor, Don't waste your time and money at this Long's Drugs store. You'd be better off just going to Walmart or Target. read more

It's a smaller longs than the one located at town center. It's nice to have one so close to home, they have pretty much everything but do run out of sale items be used the location is smaller. I really like convenience and the staff are helpful with the making sure coupons will work and if you found everything ok. read more
