The staff were so friendly and warm and welcoming. We had a whole conversation about how we just moved and they gave recommendations and get me signed up for special events at their shop (feels like it may be a way to meet new formers as we don't know anyone) they also just redid their event space which is so cute. I loved the wall color they chose and Sydney went absolutely above and baying and actually got me the paint color. How nice is that? I'll be back and will be getting hosting gifts here for the foreseeable future

From the front I could see that heading towards the back was their space where they work their printing magic. They didn't have anyone really working up in the front area. A guy greeted me and just mentioned that he would check on me occasionally (they seemed to be occupied in the back). I perused the wall of greeting cards ($4.25/piece) , cool journals and notebooks that were on hand. What really catches your eye about their items are the catchy, clever phrases and nice graphics with great pops of color. I don't think their cards are for everyone(Hallmark they are not) but they do definitely get your attention. I ended up stocking up on a nice amount of cards to have on hand for those last minute birthdays that always escape you. I do wish they offered some sort of deal for multiple card purchases as I am sure it would encourage me to buy more. I did end up leaving with 6 great cards either way. Nonetheless, if you're looking for a unique greeting card or some fun writing journals /notebooks you won't find anywhere else give this place a whirl.

Cards are about in the ~$6 range, which compared to some of the cheesy cards you can get at target for the same price isn't too bad. Most of the selection is catered towards gifts, cards, and party supplies but they do have some stationary stuff too. Not sure I'd drive out of my way to come here again, but if I find myself in the Lake Baldwin area I'd definitely swing by to see what's new! Located next door to Dear Prudence, the art is fun and colorful (his dog prints are his most popular) and featured on art prints, greeting cards, tote/cosmetic bags, candles, luggage tags, etc! The artist himself , Nick Hanzlik, happened to be there when I stopped in. I picked up a few art prints and cards that were on sale and an Orlando print I spotted. I chatted with him a bit and he mentioned that he also has 2 pop ups in NYC! I didn't even ask but he offered to sign both of the prints I purchased so that was a bonus. I'll definitely keep this place in mind for fun gift ideas and you should too!

I look forward to getting the mail when it's not just bills and junk. Seeing my name written on the envelope just gets me excited for what is inside. Disclaimer Elizabeth, who runs BLP, is a good friend of mine but I have been buying and giving her cards that make people smile for the past 2 years. She designed wedding invites for some good friends of mine and I just loved the detail and that she tailored to the couples liking. More recently, she has designed more "Orlandocentric" cards featuring many of the great neighborhoods around Orlando and I was even blown away by her generosity recently when she donated her profits from sales of specific cards to the Pulse Orlando fund.
