They told us to try and see if wheel tech could fix it and then they could just replace the tire (had a huge gash). They did!!! It was $160 for the fix if paid in cash there is an extra charge for credit card but we had cash so I don't remember what that would have been. But so glad she has the same wheel/rim and the other tires and cost less than replacing it with the after market that wouldn't have matched! Thanks Wheel Tech! They found a screw in the tire and fixed it. Free of charge. Yes, I was lucky the screw punctured in the area of the tire that they could fix, but I feel I am luckier to have a found high-quality, trustworthy shop. I wanted to see the hole in the tire myself when I arrived back at the shop. The team allowed me to see the tire and hole, and Ariel explained that it was not possible to be repaired. However when I contacted an outside source with experience in tire repair, I was made aware that the tire was repairable and that Discount Tire was being dishonest with me. I asked them to attempt to patch up the tire, and Ariel said he would attempt. Instead of attempting, Ariel made the hole in the tire worse in order to "prove" that it was unrepairable. Ariel jammed a screwdriver and drove a slit through the hole and told me it was unrepairable. Of course it wasn't, when he made the hole bigger. Forcing me to purchase a new tire instead. When initially when I arrived I was told that it was repairable and that it would be free to walking out with a tire worse than when I came in and having to pay $300 for a brand new tire unnecessarily. They post integrity on the wall, but unfortunately they were dishonest with me, from someone with knowledge on vehicles and repair, don't go here, there are plenty of other places that will be truthful and do a better job.

Went to Jensen Tire in Elkhorn and they turned me away say they couldn't do anything with a lock nut. I had no clue what a lock but was. They said it was a key for the tire. Said to go to Luke's Tire. I called called Lyle's tire at about 3:15 from Elkhorn and they said to come on in (they close at 4 on Saturday's) so they can look at it. Got there at about 3:40 and Michael came right out and found the nail. He brought it back to see if they could get the lock but off. Once the car was in the back, Mike came to talk with me and explained what a lock nut was and even showed me what a "key" looks like. He was SO patient and willing to teach me why it's not a simple fix. I learned a LOT! Even though they were closing soon, he never rushed anything. Thankfully, they were able to fix the tire without damaging the black rims. Mike was worried that if I got another flat, it may be a worse situation to where I might be stranded. So, he said he would do some research to see if he could replace the remaining three lock nuts with regular black ones. It didn't even take him a week to follow-up. I will never go to another tire place! Truly professionals that know their product and care about their customers safety and budget. Mike was amazing! Used Yelp's tools to find S&H and sent a text describing our needs about 8:30 PM. Got a preliminary response within minutes and a response from the owner, Dan moments later. He'd already checked with three of his suppliers to no avail, but promised to check an additional source as well as his stock of used tires. Said he'd respond shortly after 7 AM. He did, and we had the used tires installed within an hour before 9AM. Price was fair, service was quick, and we got two name brand tires to tide us over until we can get a full new set (the tires we had we're original equipment run-flats with 44k miles on them. The place doesn't look like much, but they definitely know what they're doing and the responsiveness was stellar.
