Thank God that Downriver appliance had a service techician on call. Kevin answered the phone and stated that he would be by in 20 minutes to do the repair... He showed up in 10 and immediately diagnosed the problem and completed the repair!! We are unbelievably grateful for not only the availability of Kevin and Downriver Appliance on a Sunday afternoon, but also his prompt professional service. They also cleaned an area in my refrigerator where frozen fruit has spilled and just made a huge mess in the freezer. They cleaned it up for me and didn't leave a mess anywhere. If I need any appliances repaired anytime in the future I will call snappy Appliance Repair. I also gave their information to family members so that they will call the right company when they need repair on any of their appliances. I thought the price was fair and it was easy to pay them as they didn't require a check or cash and just made it simple for me to be able to pay them using cash app or Zell or PayPal. An open letter to American Dix Appliance Service…read more Yesterday one of your employees came to my home to repair my dryer and my refrigerator.  For the second time this employee made comments about overloading the dryer, which we do not do, when the part he installed 3 weeks prior failed. And then pulled out the refrigerator an proclaimed in front of my 78 yo mother and my kids that it was "filthy"! First of all shame on you, you have no idea what people are going through.  I cleaned the back of the refrigerator 6 months ago and if it was "filthy" as you say that means when you were out prior to this visit you didn't do your job of looking for the problem on the backside of the refrigerator. Secondly let me inform you, actually I told you last month when the dryer had the same problem my husband had a debilitating disease and I had been taking care of him and apologized the house wasn't up to par. And I also made mention my husband passed mid June. What you don't know about is the debilitating depression and anxiety I've been thru watching my husband die a slow death. Being afraid to run the vacuum for fear of not hearing him call out. Just tossing things in another room so no one else suspects your having depression and anxiety because God knows you can't look like you don't have it together. Feeling the guilt of not having a clean house and apologizing to every person that walks into you space. I would rather buy a new appliance then have you step foot back in my "Filthy" home.
