When I asked one of the workers if they had any plates, the two men continued to laugh among each other when I had simply asked for plates in a food court (pretty valid if I may say so). Longwood Galleria is located in Boston near some hospitals. If you are in the area visiting or if you work near here, then you have a reason to come. Otherwise you wouldn't normally want to come as there's not much expect fast food restaurants, some that you find in a regular indoor mall. There is a nice restaurant connected, as well as a hotel, and a few shops like cvs and an optical store to name a few. They do have restrooms as well. Again, unless you have business in the area, there's other places worthwhile to visit. Be expected to pay for parking unless you can find street parking. read more

I went to Bostonian Pizza. The pizza looked good. 9.99 for two slices of pizza and a can of soda is a good deal. I ordered two slices of cheese pizza. They keep it warm lighted and heated in a container. The pizza was nasty. It was dry hardly any sauce and cheese. The pizza slices were look warm. I had them reheat it. That made it worse. It tasted like cardboard and hard to chew and eat. The pizza I cooked in an oven on a conveyer belt. It's just frozen pizza heat up no pizza ovens or anything. During the time of this review, the Massachusetts state at home advisory is still in place. This place has become a ghost town as the restaurant selections here have drastically been reduced. The only restaurants that are open right now are McDonald's, a Mexican restaurant, and CVS. There are signs that encourage social distancing. I've been coming here a lot lately as Mcdonald's is providing free small meals to healthcare proviers. There are no places to sit as they have removed all of the dining tables. read more

If you work in the area, you've probably been recommended to check out the food court here. It's not the best food court you've ever stepped foot in but it's also not the worst. Go at "off peak" hours, like before or after the 12-1 rush lunch crowd is through. I've seen lines 20+ people deep at places like Sarku and McDonalds. You'll potentially struggle to find a table after you get your food or spend more than half of your lunch break just waiting to get your meal. My favorites were the two Chinese locations next to each other, one being more authentic than the other, like having ma po tofu and Chinese vegetables as offerings vs. your standard mall food court Americanized dishes. They seem to have had trouble keeping tenants, as my FAVORITE location of Middle Eastern food went out of business, I believe an Indian place is about to take its place. The prices here are a bit higher than what you might be used to for almost all of the locations, I'm guessing because the landlords charge a high premium rent to be here. Hence why some don't seem to last. The space is adequate, it's just average in terms of the offerings and can get super crowded if you aren't careful. There are some better options out at street level like Clover and Boloco but as you can see, I was here many times when working in the area and it did its job for the most part. read more

The food selection is pretty vast, so you should find something you would like. The place is kept pretty clean, so it really works out to a great place to get lunch. The food court gets the job done in that it provides a greater, more appetizing variety compared to the cafeteria at Mass Art but let's be real, it's just your typical American food court. I do have to say though that with my occasional visits for the past 4 years, I am disappointed they removed Dairy Queen and replaced it with Subway. That's not to say that I don't like Subway...I do...but I came to dairy queen during my summers or after class just to get my fix of their oreo blizzard. McDonald's just doesn't cut it..watered down and less creamy. "Free sample, try our free sample"- Dragon bowl girls will shout during lunch time and people from Sakura Japan will also hand out samples of their teriyaki as well during peak hour. I'm also sad that Sbarro is gone after going bankrupt. Where will I get my Italian fix during lunch now? Lollicup is gone too. I think Beantown Burrito place is the least popular stall out of the lot...never see people there and the strategic location of it is unattractive itself. But anyways, pretty decent place to come if you work, have doctors appointments or go to school in the area. As a whole, not so great, but there are some diamonds in the very very rough. Like Laura M. says, Sami's is great - cheap and yummy. The falafel wrap, salads and rice are all good. And the cashiers are v. nice. The sushi place has kind of a dismal selection but if you get there before everyone takes the spicy tuna it's decent. The chinese place gives you a RIDICULOUS amount of food for your money (the egg rolls are kind of crap, but the scallion pancakes are surprisingly awesome.) McDonalds is McDonalds. Hardly anyone speaks English there, too. Sbarro, Dairy Queen, Subway and Dunkin's are all pretty standard, but tend to have the longest lines. Do not under any circumstances eat at the Beantown Burrito. This is for your own good. read more

This is a totally weird ass place. Part hotel, part apartment building, part office building, part fake mall with food court and wicked expensive parking garage all jammed into the center of Longwood. Literally it fails in every aspect it tries at it. I have experienced all of them except the apartments after my office was moved from the subbasement of Childrens into the ground floor of the Galleria. The food court is pretty weak except Sami's which is good. The mall really only has a CVS as everything else has gone out of business or been converted to office space. The office space & parking are not very nice and the management company is borderline inept. The hotel & its restaurant/bar are possibly the worst I've ever experienced in Boston with surly staff and super inflated prices. Hopefully one of the hospitals will buy this place and tear it down and build something that puts this valuable real estate to good use. read more

I come here maybe once every 2 years...it's basically where all the people from the hospital or surrounding business offices grab lunch. There's a CVS which is handy, but line can be long, good thing there's 3 cashiers. The Dunkins is aite, but if you come after lunch..everythings pretty much gone! The teriyaki place is chill---can never go wrong there... except the price is higher than average malls....there's a McD and a sushi place...and a subways and some other places i don't really care about. Very reminiscent of a late 80's mall food court, makes me feel like I am in a John Hughes film every time I walk through the door. The lighting is awful, the food selection is meh and the rent was recently raised causing Sammi's, Sbarro and the DQ/Orange Julius combo to depart. On the positive side there are a ton of hot workmen who eat breakfast there in the morning, the CVS is pretty good and is open till 10, there is a dunks and the nachos at Beantown Burrito are fantastic...so much so that the gentleman behind the counter warned me they would be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday and I would need to bring my own lunch to work that day. This is a nice food court/mini mall located in the middle of Boston's Longwood Medical Area. There is a McDonald's, burrito place, Subway, Asian place, newsstand, Dunkin Donuts, and CVS. Since we were staying very nearby, the McDonald's provided a convenient location to grab a quick breakfast and coffee. There was plenty of seating (it never really got full, I guess because it was during the weekend) and I saw a lady going around cleaning the tables so that was a welcome sight. The decorations on the walls and ceiling were very eclectic and captivating. You can reach this from the street or from an elevator (if you are staying at the Inn next door). read more

They always are offering free samples from the asian place which I've never tried. I always have tons of Dr. appts. and this place would be a great place to try and have lunch but the food is just horrid. I'll give 5 stars to this cozy, cute and shiny place. Didn't expect nothing much. Just ordered some turkey burger and two salads. Honestly, the kale salad was unbelievably delicious. I love eating healthy food and kale is not easy even to cook. They had toasted almond, Brussel sprouts and apple in it. So far the best kale salad I tried in my whole life. read more

It's mainly a food court with a few additional shops -- a CVS, a hair salon, a clothing store, etc. -- attached to it, with offices below and apartments above. However, the food court does offer several decent lunch options for those working in the Longwood Medical area, including Sami's and a DAIRY QUEEN. I've been known to go "run some errands" at work and stop off for a Blizzard on my way back, because hey, I've earned it. read more

I thought this was a real galleria with stores but it's apparently just a food court. They had some interesting selections but it was overly crowded and construction was going on. It's located next to several office buildings and hospitals. The only store is a giant CVS. The worst part is it costs $9 for parking (for one hour). That's outrageous. My friend and I were in side for myself 15 minutes, if that and we were shocked to be charged the full amount. One would think they'd do it based on how long you were actually in the lot. Strange place. Its like a mall food court with out the mall. They have pretty much every type of food from a site down restaurant to a McDonalds several Chinese places plus a Chutneys Indian place and a Sepal. All are very good. There is also a CVS. $9 parking makes everything here uneconomical unless you happen to be passing by on foot. It's a shame, this place is on the way for many people commuting from Brookline. I would probably stop by the CVS or have lunch here every now and then, but not with $9 parking fee tacked on.
