2 stars for results but not friendly and very intimidating. Clean environment and ok nail results, BUT the tech was unkind, ignored my attempts of friendly small talk. He just pointed at the seat, and loudly asked for my gel # twice. As he worked on my nails he was aggressive- shoving and grabbing my hands, and almost smacking my fingers. In the middle of the service said he hoped he scares me off for good. (What?!) and when I checked out, he said oh you are in our system, we know now. (Know what?!! I was afraid to ask! assuming how I made the appointment?) idk, energy seemed really hostile. Maybe it was a bad day, maybe it was me, but I'd hate for anyone else to experience it. This salon was tucked away in a cute strip mall right by a cafe I really like. Walking in, I was immediately greeted and seated. One weird thing I noted was they were having some sort of power issue when I was there and the lights kept flickering. Sometimes it even dipped to where they couldn't get the nail drills to work. There were men on the phone the whole time I was there, looking around and trying to figure out the power issue. Random, but odd. Service was friendly, the girl doing my nails was very sweet. I got SNS dip powder. My only complaint at the time was that she was a bit rough when filing and shaping my nails. I have very short nails, and she kept hitting the skin a bit when trying to file them to a round point. That aside, I left feeling pretty satisfied and liked the look of my finished manicure. Fast forward a week later, and I have an infected middle finger, where the skin on the side of my nail has turned white and green, and is puffy. Clearly infected, and hurts when you put any pressure on it. I should have seen it coming when I saw how rough she was when shaping my nails. read more

5 stars for service, color selection, prices and variety of options. 4 stars for the wait time. I went in for a pedicure and ended up waiting for over 40 Minutes with my feet soaking. Other than that, if you make an appointment, I don't see that ever being a problem again, however I usually like to walk in spur of the moment. I chose the deluxe lavender pedicure and they were having a special for $5ofd anything over $30 so with tip I ended up spending only $37 for my deluxe pedicure which is extremely reasonable. I will come again to try out their SNS options and if that is as good as the pedicure, then I will have found a new home nail salaon when I relocate to Longwood in a few short months. read more

I have never been to a more UNporofessional place of business. A salon is supposed to be a place where you come to get pampered and relax, not where you have to receive attitude or rude comments from the technicians performing your service or others around. I have been coming to this salon for more than 2 years now but after my last experience I am never coming back. On more than one occassion the male owner has made rude and distastful comments to me. As the owner of a business you would want to be sure your clients are receiving the utmost experience at your nail salon not worrying about being picked on or being insulted. (Being told my nails look ugly after he himself completed them, etc) My most recent and last visit was the most frustrating. One of the new nail techs (who happens to be dating the female owner) had been doing his little sisters nails while waiting for a client to come in. I was the lucky one that got to sit at his table....full sarcasm intended. Me and my girlfriend were getting our nails done and have no complaints about the work but just the crappy experience. The nail techs themselves did a great job on both of us, but the little sister stood at the end of the row of tables making rude comments about how she could be getting her nails finished if I (the paying customer) hadnt come in and sat at her brothers table (as I was instructed to do); this was all said as she is looking me up and down with a look of disgust. Mind you she may have been joking and I uncomfortably laughed it off, but she continued heckling myself and other nail techs and stayed hovering over everyone getting their nails done as a means to keep herself entertained, I'm sure. Both owners (the male and female, who are brother and sister) were present as this, what seemed to be a teenage girl, acted a fool in their business and made litttle to no attempts at having her take a seat in the back or otherwise be out of the way. It even got to a point where she kept hollering "I'm just a b**** so thats why I cant go anywhere to get my nails done and he (her brother, the one doing my nails) has to to them for me" If this salon has done anything, I can say it has given me an experience I'll never forget...the ABSOLUTE worst. read more

I am getting a pedicure here and I got the deluxe. In the deluxe menu says a sugar scrub. He never did the sugar scrub. I said did you do the scrub and he snapped back at me and paused; gave me a dirty look and said "yeah." And then rolled his eyes at me. Skipping steps and copping attitudes. Oh how could I forget when I asked him to shorten my big toe he responds with "there's nothing left!" In a high pitch screechy sound. Very condescending and rude. I decided to try this place after seeing someone else's pic of their color selection. Holy wall o' color!! They have matched every single bottle of regular lacquer with gel! Very impressive! There were only 2 techs working (it was a Sunday)-so I was asked to wait for about 30min- usually I wouldn't wait, but this place had such a relaxing vibe. They let me get comfy at a pedi station and I got lost in my iPad. The pedicure itself was amazing! Crystal really went above and beyond to bring absolute beauty back to my feets. I am new in town and wanted to find a good place to start going to get my nails and toes done consistently. The girl that did my pedicure did not once speak to me or ask how I was doing. When I asked about the different pedicures she just said it's a good massage and proceeded with my pedicure. I work next door from this salon and needed my nails done for my brothers baby shower. Spent $85 to get a refill and a pedicure ... the very NEXT day one of my nails broke!! The gel color looks like regular nail polish because it's already chipped. And I'm not going to even talk about the nail polish on my toes . The vibe in this salon is not a relaxing one, the moment I walked in the where two employees cursing and screaming at each other, they were playing around, but it doesn't look good in front of guests, especially when you have kids around. Minus one star for the wait and minus one star for not honoring the coupons on their website. Came in for a pedicure with appointment and waited 30 minutes after appointment to get started. Salon was clean, well decorated, and they had a very organized and wide selection of colors to choose from. I'm happy with my pedicure overall (even though there was almost no massage), but was surprised that regardless of what pedicure you select, gel/shellac is 20 dollars extra which is a bit pricey. They don't offer a "gel pedi" package that most salons offer. When I went to check out I was informed that the coupon on THEIR website was "misleading and needed to be fixed" so they wouldn't honor it even though I got EXACTLY what the coupon stated. I think that is pretty poor customer service. I attached a photo of the coupon. My suggestion for others is to verify any coupons prior to getting service for validation. My appointment was at 3:30 and I didn't get out until 5:30. I had the basic spa pedi with gel polish. read more

My visit started out well but did not end on a good note.. I asked for a manicure and SNS with tips. I was told she will do the manicure AFTER she puts the tips on, which made no sense to me. I asked for her (owner) to select the tips on the narrow side and she said no it won't work as it will come off ( I had done it many many times before). Process was beyond long, nail surface ended up bumpy and bulky as I expected. Half way through the process, as she was filing mu nails, she cut my pinky so bad by the tip of the nail. The nail salon was very clean and they are really nice here. I got regular mani/pedi which on the website is listed for $35, but it's actually $25 for pedi + $15 for the nails. In retrospect, I should've asked for another coat on my nails (they did 2), but I rated 4/5 stars because the top coat on my nails significantly didn't go all the way to the edge of the colored layers under. So now my nails are coming off near the cuticles faster. The pedicure was great and they cut and cleaned up my cuticles well. read more
