This place was so phenomenal. We decided to take our little girls along with us for a pedicure (their first) and the staff made it such a memorable experience. They really took their time to make it special for them. They also brought out champagne for us and the capri suns for the girls. We never felt rushed to leave once they were done which I usually experience at salons. And of course, we all look fab ‍ I was really impressed with the steps they take to stay clean and hygienic-- liners in the tubs, brand new out of the package tools, gloves, etc. All this for the same price I pay at my usual spot! I went for a gel manicure as a walk-in and was seated quickly. Once the manicurist began to remove my cuticles, I noticed that I was bleeding on multiple nails. Despite the bleeding, she kept going & did little to resolve the bleeding or discomfort. While the manicure itself looks fine, I now have very sore & scabbed nail beds with one being infected. I visited this nail salon for the first time while on vacation with my mother, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. When I arrived, one of the nail techs handed me the color samples. While I was still looking, she asked if I had chosen a color. I said no and asked if they had a royal blue shade. Instead of answering, she took the samples away without a word and told me to follow her. Once I sat down, she started my pedicure, but she was rough--cutting and even burning my skin. My mother, who was with me, asked if I had picked a color, and I explained that the tech had taken them away before I could choose. My mother then spoke up and asked if I could look at the colors again. The employees exchanged confused glances as if they didn't understand, and after my mother confronted them, they began giving us rude looks and were aggressive while working on my pedicure. A male employee then approached me to ask what I wanted done with my nails. As I started to answer, he rudely interrupted the conversation to take a phone call--the sixth time he had done so during my visit. He spoke loudly and, once he was done, didn't even bother to continue our conversation properly. At that point, I was ready to leave, but I decided to let the technician finish my pedicure. My appointment was for both a pedicure and a fill, but after such poor service, I told the man I wouldn't be getting my nails done. When he asked how my pedicure was, I honestly responded, "Not the best." Immediately after, he and the other employees started speaking negatively about me and laughing. To make things worse, there were two other customers with their feet in the water who weren't being helped, and another customer's bowl was overflowing because the male employee was too distracted to pay attention. I wouldn't go back. Messed up on my nails. The color isn't even what I picked. Cut my nails too short after I said file. Then went to use the cheese grater on my feet that was dirty! I went for a mani and pedi with my husband and from the beginning we should've known what we were in for. An young girl and her older aunts were the only ones working. We spent a total of 3 hours in the shop before we were finally done. I waited a full day for my toes to dry and she clumped up the polish so thick, my shoes messed the big toe A DAY LATER. I gave 2 stars just because the man who did my nails was really nice, unfortunately he does not know how to properly apply SNS and my nails look pretty bad for a $50 service plus tip. I would not recommend this location as all their nail techs should be able to do a good job other wise they should not do nails. I have never gotten such poorly done nails. I feel bad for him but this is the truth and the owner of this place should make sure to train all his employees properly. Worst pedicure I've had in my life. Left with polish all over my cuticles, my nails were uneven, and the polish itself is splotchy and not shiny in places. I want to start off by saying I am the most picky person ever when it comes to my nails. It has to look absolutely perfect or I am unhappy; however, I'm the worst at telling the nail tech I don't like the design, color, etc... hence how I found myself at Dainty Nails. I had been going to another local nail salon, and every time I picked a gel color from their selection, I would walk out in to the sunlight, and it would look completely different. There was one time back in January, I just could not stand the color, so I drove to Dainty Nails after reading their great reviews. I was SO LUCKY to have gotten Kim to help me out. I showed her what I had originally wanted. She literally looked at the shape of my nails and skin tone and mixed THEEE different gel colors to create a color that not only looked like what I wanted, but also went best with my skin tone. She also created and added the cutest design to my ring fingers. I was so happy. I started coming back every two weeks to get the gel polish. She convinced me to try SNS/Dip and that was the best decision I have ever made. I was scared to try it because I didn't like how thick/unnatural it looked on other people; however, Kim does a phenomenal job at making it thin and natural looking. Now I come back every three weeks (it could last even longer, but I like to change my nails more frequently) to get SNS/Dip. My natural nails have never been so long, strong, and healthy. Kim has done designs, ombré, French, pink and white ombré, glitter, etc.... and she nails it every time! (Hahaha get it...) Every time I come with a new idea, color or design I want to try that I found online, Kim tweaks it just a little so that it goes with my skin tone and shape of my nails. She is truly the best (and trust me, that means a lot coming from me because I have been to several other nail salons in the area with several different nail techs). She is very honest and will tell you if something would not look good on your particular nails. She also does not mind correcting a design, color, etc. if you are not happy with it. I also get gel pedicures and my eye brows/mustache waxed (if you think I'm picky over my nails, just imagine how picky I am about my face...) once a month by Kim. She is incredible at both those services, as well. I have never gotten so many compliments on my nails and eye brows. I highly recommend Dainty Nails with Kim because you will not be disappointed. Few Other Key Notes: -The prices are great. About $3-$5 cheaper per service than other local salons. -MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. It's a smaller nail salon so even though they accept walk-ins, you will be waiting a longggg time if you do not have an appointment. Especially on the weekend, and after 5:00 pm on week days. (Except for waxing, walk in any time) -It's not a fast service nail salon. If you are in a hurry and want something quick, this is not the place. Kim is a perfectionist and does not rush her work in order to see more customers. Plan to spend at least an hour getting your nails done. -They provide drinks while you get your nails done. -The salon itself is very cute and they play a good selection of music. -Con: Parking is an issue because it shares a parking lot with LA Fitness; however, you will always find a parking spot, you just may have to walk a little. Pro: Allows a great view of attractive, fit men while you get your nails done... Please do yourself a favor and don't go don't trust the reviews on google like I did. I went in wanting French gel manicure which I specified three times and came out with chrome over I don't know what color. The pink definitely doesn't match my toes. The person who did my nails also wasn't very friendly and she must've been in some rush as well as her coworker that did my cousins nails. Both of our nails look half done, they didn't bother doing our nails in the manicure area where it should've been done we had to sit in the pedicure chairs leaning forward to have our nails painted (oh and the lighting was bad probably why our nails came out messed up), then when I asked the nail tech if she was doing French she said that I was done and that she couldn't do it and said I never told her I wanted French when I did indeed say it THREE times, the place is crammed/dark/messy, and I held the gel lamp in my lap to have them done. Such great quality service. Oh and she would do some stuff on one and not the other. Nowhere NEAR worth the amount of money I paid for us. Would've honestly been better off doing our nails myself. I feel like taking everything all off. Lord only knows what exactly I paid for too since she just took my card and inserted it for me. Needless to say definitely wouldn't recommend or go back. WORST NAIL SALON I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Within ONE week, my gel had peeled off my fingers entirely. I was sitting in the pedicure chair, and once my toes were painted, she asked me to move to the manicure station..I looked down at my toes and they were AWFUL. The woman knew they looked bad because she looked at me and said "the polish is very old." I was confused so I just said, "should I pick another color?" She told me she could repaint them AFTER my nails were done. I just said, okay, but I was clearly upset. I told her they looked bad, and she assured me she would fix them. Half way through my nails, she got up and switched with someone else. When my fingers were done I asked the new woman if she could fix my toes now. She didn't know what I was talking about and she told me they were "fine." Well they were NOT FINE. My toes literally NEVER DRIED. That night the polish got all over my sheets because the polish was so old it didn't dry. I spent $60 here. OH!!! AND THEY CHARGED MY CARD FOR A TIP WHEN I DID NOT LEAVE ONE. My total was $60, but my bank statement says they charged $69.00. I did not approve the $9.00 tip because I was pissed. STAY AWAY! read more

Please advise this place is ran by all unlicensed technicians. I am a former employee there and today was the final straw and I quit . Hanna has been trying to sabotage my job since I called her out on purposely not writing my appointments down double booking me and causing chaos in my schedule. I have numerous times pointed out the issue tried to resolve it and it has still been a continuous thing. I then tried to talk to John about it and he just brushes it off stating " it's done and over with " just let it go " this however seems very much so unprofessional on my end when in all actuality their the problem. Now they have a 9yr child answering the phone smh they're very unprofessional and not honest people I have worked for so many didn't shops and this by far is the worst experience I have ever encountered. They don't respect customers they eat, cook etc which is against all health code regulations and should have a break room Just pay attention and see how they really operate , watch them not properly clean utensils, pay close attention it's all a fake and the need to be shut down I will be contacting the board because I have so many pics and evidence against its insane. I was practically forced to make a review about this place after only being here a few times- John is losing his mind and he needs to stop doing nails period. From the over-coating of paint to the overcharging of the price it's just not worth it. I waited two hours for a fill and during that time he has me sit in some crusty massage chair & there's gnats flying around while you wait. This place needs to be inspected for cleanliness. I just wish he would've filled my cup of wine all the way to the top so I could've gotten through the two hours much smoother. read more

I had the dainty pedicure and it was the worst pedicure I've ever received. my nails weren't trimmed or filed and I feel like they're worse than when I came in. the guy who did my pedicure walked away while taking a personal phone call on speaker phone before polishing and someone else had to fill in and finish. the massage was just a wet lotion lather and it wasn't even rubbed in. I was so excited to try this place because on Google it had 4.7 stars and almost 1000 reviews and I left there fighting back tears. If you prefer the SNS/Dip nails, they really are top notch. I would highly recommend making an appointment on the weekends bc I waited almost 2 hours (which was my fault) but I got caught up on some Netflix, lol. I walked out of there with a gorgeous dip manicure and their dainty pedicure for about $60 which is a really great price. If you go during the weeknights you can usually walk in if you only need one service, but it's a smaller salon so even then I would make an appointment if you don't want to wait too long. The are friendly and the salon is well kept with a large variety of colors and service offerings. Parking is kind of a pain bc it shares a lot with the LA fitness in a large plaza so you usually need to park further away, but get your steps in and make an appointment and you won't be disappointed. read more

Not even a week later i had to cut them all short because the man filed my natural nail down so bad they became brittle and broke on multiple nails. I spent a lot of time strengthening my natural nails so I wouldn't have to damage them with acrylics only for one person to file them down and scrape them into nothing.
