Perfect spot for a getaway! I stayed here for four days. The staff was so nice and accommodating! They double checked any food allergies or dietary restrictions, gave me a map for things to do, and gave some great restaurant recommendations! I had a two room suite that was exactly like the pictures on their website. It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and made with obvious, loving care. My husband and I stayed here while on a trip for our 25th Anniversary. The room was nice and the atmosphere was pleasant. The breakfast was good but not great. I had one disappointment and that was with the cost of the nights stay. The website list the room price as $150 per night which would have come to $170.50. The Manager charged us $170 for the night with the total cost being over $190. So be sure to check the cost per their website before paying. read more

What a wonderful place! My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this beautiful B&B! It was our first time at a bed and breakfast and we were so pleased with how delightful it was! We stayed in the Midnight room, and loved the extremely comfortable bed (a King-size firm memory foam), beautiful decor, and hot tub in the room! All three mornings, we loved our elaborate breakfast (see attached photos; forgot to take a photo on the 3rd morning because we were too excited about chocolate chip pancakes); the staff/owners were also incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. In addition to this, it's the perfect location to be close to tourist attractions such as Rock City and Ruby Falls, but far out enough to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We definitely want to come back another time when the weather is better and we're able to take advantage of all the outdoor seating and picnic-like areas between the rooms, as well as the pool and jacuzzi! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who asked! P.S. they also have an adorable and friendly beagle who loves to be loved on! read more

My husband and I stumbled across this sweet little B&B and boy was it a treat! The location is perfect for visiting the nearby sites and not too far from the downtown area! We stayed in the "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" cottage which was perfect for a little romantic getaway. The grounds were lush with trees and flowers and there were even little sitting areas outside where you could enjoy the sites. Breakfast was delicious, filling and homemade! To top it off the family has a sweet pup that greets you and really completes the entire homey vibe (in my opinion)! Our 2 nights in "the Garden of Roses" cottage were absolutely wonderful! The electric fireplace provided us with warmth as the evening and morning temps were in the 40s. The breakfasts were delicious and we loved how close we were to Ruby Falls and Rock City. We enjoyed dinner 1 evening at Cafe on the Corner too right down the street. This place is so quaint and pretty, I loved our stay! My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights while visiting Chattanooga and Rock City. The breakfasts in the morning were divine (we had peach french toast one day YUM and sausage, pancakes and the best wild rice ever!) and were served to us by the nice and accommodating hosts. The price to stay was very very reasonable and I loved that it was at the top of Lookout Mountain. The place is beautiful, with huge houses and a close knit community. Our room (the Lavender Room) was decorated beautifully. I loved that this B&B is so private with separate cottages. I would LOVE to come here again and do even more fun things in Rock City. We had a Living Social deal and stayed here for two nights. The rooms are really separate little cottages, and they are beautifully furnished with antiques. Although the cottages are a little older, the bathrooms are very nice with good water pressure and hot showers. The breakfast was amazing. We were served chocolate chip cinnamon pancakes and dirty rice (rice with sausage, water chestnuts and some spices). Breakfast is a limited time period (8:30-9:30 on Saturday and 8-9 on Sunday), and we had stayed out late the night before so we skipped it on Sunday. There's a nice fireplace in the living room with board games, books and newspapers. The location was amazing with several good restaurants nearby and a very short drive to attractions like Rock City, Point Park and Ruby Falls. read more

Hubby and I found a Groupon and wanted to get out of town for our one-month wedding anniversary :) We stayed in the Sunshine room and it was beautiful! Very decorated, comfy bed, hot water in shower, and a very quiet location. The mini fridge in the entryway was nice to keep snacks and stuff. Breakfast was sooo delicious! We don't eat pork so we were given the choice of fruit OR eggs instead. Get eggs because with no protein all that sugar is just way too much. read more

Wifey and I spent a long weekend in the Chattanooga/Lookout Mountain area. This was our "base of operations!" It is a good one! We stayed in the "Florida" room and it was quite cozy and content...during a long, rainy weekend! After doing things outside and in the rain each day...we were able to come back to this cozy abode...and relax in the evenings. The place is an old "motor inn" from way back...and has been well redone... The owners were not very personable. The room was muggy...it felt like we were camping the bed was so damp. (And we even ran the air conditioning all day!) Breakfast was alright, but it would have been nice to have been offered more. Will definitely try to find better accommodations next time we are in Chattanooga. We chose the Garden Walk for our 1 year anniversary. The positive Yelp reviews gave us a good feeling about the place, but that isn't always a sure bet. The entire experience was disappointing. The room was very musty and every time we entered it was a slap in the nostrils. We also dealt with bugs in the room for the entire weekend. We like to stay at bed and breakfasts and expect that furnishing, bedding, and facilities have some of the worn/charm features. An unpleasant smell and bug issue, however, are unacceptable. The second issue, breakfast, was the real heart breaker. Given the fantastic food options in Chattanooga, it is surprising to see how many people commend the breakfast on here. First, the coffee in the rooms and served at breakfast is REALLY BAD. It is clear that the management buys as cheap as they can because McDonald's coffee is far superior to what they serve. If you drink coffee black you would probably have to add cream and sugar to put it down. For breakfast on the first day, they served basic pancakes with a side of a mash thing of rice, some kind of ground meat and under cooked potatoes soaked in oil. This had to be the most awful thing I've ever seen for breakfast. The second day was better with a baked bread with peaches and whipped cream, but not everyone is looking to have dessert as breakfast. We contemplated changing our stay after the first night but didn't want to go through the trouble of moving. Based on our experience, I'd recommend you look elsewhere. We definitely felt jipped after spending $500 for two disappointing nights. read more

Absolutely beautiful spot from the pictures online. Unfortunately, the worst customer service! I called on Wednesday to book 1 night for Saturday. Was told by owner they usually only book 2 night stays, but to call back on Thursday and if they had not rented all the rooms he would extend that 1 night rental. Called Thursday and he asked if I could give him one more day and to call on Friday and if there was still an availability he would let me have the room. I called after lunch on Friday to allow even more time. His wife answered and said she would only give a 2 nt rental and refused to honor her husband's offer even after calling him to verify he had extended the offer. I held off booking anywhere else, because I trusted what the owner had told me. His wife went on to say they are trying to"stay afloat". Well if this is the way you treat your guest by not honoring your word.... good luck with that. Thank you to the husband for trying to work with the customer, unfortunately your partner was not on the same page. The place was recommended by a good friend who lives in the area. Word of mouth can be your best or worst advertisement. read more

My wife surprised me for my 54 Birthday celebration with a trip up to Look Out Mountain, TN or is it GA. We spent two nights at the Garden Walk and the accommodations were very nice. They are located near all of the attractions. They served pancakes and some kind of pork hash for breakfast. I wasn't a big fan of the pork hash, but the coffee was very good. We met the hostess while checking out and we let her know that we weren't thrilled with the breakfast. She was very nice and sincere. She said that we should have asked for eggs instead. Hmmmm .... But we weren't offered a choice. As soon as we sat down we were greeted with the pancakes. One last note: Breakfast is served earlier on Sunday. So we missed it. No big lost there. I would probably stay there again, knowing that I can order eggs. Maybe I should ask for waffles instead? read more

Me and my partner stayed here overnight for Labor Day on a tour of Rock City and Ruby Falls. What a great little place! All cottages and a very kitschy atmosphere contribute to a very good experience. An outdoor covered patio serves as the breakfast area where we were served peach french toast, sausage patties, juice and coffee. They even asked what kind of coffee we took the night before! Quiet, peaceful and relaxing is how I'd have to describe it. Dual rooms in most of the cottages with individual bathrooms and a shared entry way with fridge and coffee maker.There is a very small pool that you can stand in the middle of and do laps by spinning around but the kids will love it. I saw a hot tub but it was being drained and they also have a campfire area. They have the sweetest dog on property named Rita. Tell her we said HI! read more

This place is very nice. The rooms are decorated with a homey touch. We stayed in the florida room. It has everything in it that you would need. The owners are a very nice accommodating couple. They cook you a very nice home cooked breakfast and really make you feel like you are special. The gardens are well kept especially even for it being around 40 degrees outside. I bet this place is fabulous in the summer. Overall its a nice quiet place close to amazing views and restaurants. I would come back here in a heart beat we had a great time staying here! read more

Our group used 18 rooms for a weekend in November 2015 for a wedding at the Grandview. This B&B is very comfy and charming!! Each room has a different theme and they even have several rooms with fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs! Some of our guests staying in the Out Of Africa room said they felt like they were in a different place - they loved it as did the rest of our guests! The B&B is only 1/2 mile from the Grandview and Rock City and is also close to Ruby Falls, hiking and other attractions. The owners were great to work with! They were very accommodating and did everything they could to make sure our group had a great time! Breakfast was wonderful - loved the pumpkin, chocolate chip pancakes for the fall! My partner and I stayed here for a weekend away. I have to say, it was overall a wonderful experience. While the owners aren't exactly bubbly or extra courteous, they are very accommodating and will definitely help you with any request, even if it is to move rooms for one reason or another. The breakfasts are also delicious - very original and beautifully served. They have a little video library for guests, an outdoor hot tub, a beautiful courtyard of sorts, and the little cottages are very cute. They are a little stuffy, but that's the South for you. They are really nicely decorated, some of them are a little "Barbified" (can't think of a better description than that, or maybe "dollhouse like"), but many people want that in a bed & breakfast. Also, their location is really great for doing all of the outdoor attractions in Chattanooga such as Rock City and Ruby Falls (which are also worth a visit). Also, try Big River Restaurant in the city if you decide to go; its the best burger joint/microbrewery in Tennessee. We had a great stay thanks to the Garden Walk, and we will definitely try to get up there again someday! Oh, and Rita the beagle is sooo cute! read more
