Do not use Lookout Pest Control. My main issue is that you can never speak to anyone in the office. The techs never know what's going on with scheduling because it's all AI automated bots now. They just show up with no warning and you'll never know when your next appointment is. I've never had the same tech but they're all nice and educated, just work for a horrible company. Save yourself the major headache and just go with a locally owned company for a few bucks more. read more

Original person I spoke with to set up pest services lied to me about pricing and that I could give a call back in between services The guy who came out to exterminate even told me that they have the call reps giving out false information all the time and that they didn't know what they were doing. When I did do a call back they charged my card, I called and requested that they give me a refund and I wanted to cancel their services. because I was told a different story when I originally spoke with Chris. , The lady was rude and snobby and basically told me to bad so sad. She informed me I would not be getting a refund and that they can pull the money from the card whenever seems fit for them. So when she said I wouldn't be getting a refund because they charged me early for my next quarterly , I requested that they still come out for the next quarterly then since I paid for the service she told me they would not be coming out because i already canceled. And that I wouldn't be getting a refund for the unauthorized charge to my card. , so they just kept 125$ of mine. Never do business with them again. read more

The pest control is good. The business office is abysmal-the worst. First. They tell you when they're coming-they never ask. They come when you're not home, some you don't know whether they spayed or not and you definitely know they could not have spayed inside. Second is their bookkeeping. I've been billed since Aug 2025 for something I'd already paid. I did finally get the refund I was owed in May 2026. July 1st I got another bill for the same thing. They have promised every month they will take care of it but 11 months later it still shows up every month. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The office does not communicate with the technicians, the technicians don't communicate with the customers and they WILL DOUBLE BILL YOU! I received termite treatment in 6/2025, which was normal. Received the bill and paid for it. Only to have them come back to the house 7/2025 to perform the same treatment (which I didn't request), charge twice the amount for the termite inspection (which they labeled as "fungus treatment" that I didn't sign up for) and never communicated this to me because I was home all day and the technician NEVER knocked on my door to let me know they were at my home. To make matters worse, the office NEVER updates your account to know that services you've received/will be getting, so in essence, they can have different techs to come by your home to offer the same service over and over. I would warn anyone and everyone to avoid this company like the plague. They double bill, ignorant of customer needs and have no clue as to what services were performed on your property. Had been a longtime customer of Bug Authority, and of their owner Gary. Purchased a new home in 2024 and bought a $1800 termite protection package. Two months later, he sold the business to this group and neither he nor Lookout reached out to inform me or any other customers it would appear, that our business had been transferred. Incredibly unethical. Disappointed as well that Gary would sell something that he likely knew he would not be around for. I'm guessing he knew that he'd be selling his business at the time he signed me up. I think it's remarkably bad that a company who clearly bought contracts would not even attempt to contact their new customers. Stay far away from these people they aren't even local anymore. read more

Horrible company. We used any pest for a few years until they sold to this company and raised their prices. Cancelled service only to have them still show up. They claimed i had already paid for my service and had one more treatment. That was a lie. They have called me non stop demanding that i pay them. I will not pay them. They choose to harass me instead of sending to collections since they know they dont have a case. I block the number. They call from a different number. The owners are billionaires. Sent me a bill and I didn't even ask them to come to my house. Drove right past the no trespassing signs and stayed for 6 minutes according to their bill. I did not schedule and they stated they didn't even go in the crawl space. So what did they do?? Nothing. Also we have a cat which should be kept away from chemicals for 24 hours. Absolutely terrible! Since Lookout bought Ace our bi-monthly (I manage an apartment community) has been either non existent or they show up when not scheduled. They have no problem sending the invoice every 1st of the month for the bi-weekly service but they can not seem to send a technician. When I call to confirm they are coming I am told "yes" when they do not show up and I call they say "you were removed from the list" Why? I do not get any communication from them regarding our scheduled visits, I have to call them to see if they are coming when they are suppose to. We pay for 2 visits a month and since Lookout took over we are lucky to get 1 visit a month with no communication from the office or technician at all. Please stay far away from this pest control company. read more

Poor customer service. I have been an Ace customer for over 10 years and have had excellent service. On time to all scheduled monthly visits and I get a call from the technician if there are ever any issues. Since they sold out to Lookout Pest last year, I get technicians showing up without any notice, scheduled visits missed and billed all the way. I have called and they have scheduled appts only to have no one show up. (btw all scheduling is done in GA office, not local). I would discount it as growing pains but it's been too long, I would look elsewhere. read more

Very, very disappointed with this company. My service contract was absorbed to Lookout Pest from Bug Authority in Nov 2024. No contact from Bug Authority other than a letter. I get a text today from a new technician saying he will be at my house in 15 mins. I received the message 45 mins later and said I do not have an appt and not to come to my property. I even said, "I do not know you or Lookout Pest and I did not confirm this appointment time." Lookout Pest control came and serviced my property after I said not to, then sent me a bill for the service. This is unacceptable. Trespassed and sprayed chemicals which I did not authorize and not the same as used in the past. Lookout Pest did not have permission or authorization to spray. You do NOT text a client 15 mins prior to arrival especially when its a NEW technician and no communication was sent about the appointment for a specific day/time. I have canceled all services with this company. They are NOT ethical in their business operations in Nashville, TN. read more

I scheduled an appointment with Lookout for the morning of Friday, June 6, when they did not show up by 11:30am I called the office and was told my appointment had been incorrectly scheduled for Friday afternoon. At 4:30 I called the office again to ask about the status of the technician as I had received zero communication and was told I would hear from them shortly. No one contacted me, and I left a voicemail at 5:02pm telling them to never contact me again and not to reschedule. On Tuesday, June 10, I received a voicemail reminding me of an appointment with Lookout in two days that I never scheduled nor confirmed. My husband called Lookout, told them to cancel the appointment, and I received an email confirmation of cancellation with an invoice for $0. Today, Friday, June 13, my credit card that is on file with Lookout was charged $300 for a service I never received. This is fraudulent activity and appalling service. read more

There are not enough stars to give ACE and Emmett for their service today!!! My daughter thought she found a bed bug crawling on her last night and could not sleep after that - even after showering and moving to the couch. I called ACE first thing this morning, we were due for a termite inspection anyway. They sent Emmett and he did a thorough check for bed bugs and termites, found a brown recluse, and talked to me about any concerns. He was not pushy, did not oversell - he was a hero right when we needed him! Thankfully, no signs of bed bugs were found, and he said to continue to monitor. Ace came out to inspect a newly purchased home. They found evidence of past activity under the house from years ago that was no longer active. But, miraculously they photographed two live termites in the soil outside the home and recommended treatment. What they didn't realize was that the house had an ongoing termite contract with....Ace! A realtor friend told me the same thing happened to her a few weeks before - they found termites in a house they had a contract on. I question whether they actually found those termites, or brought them with them... If they were doing their job, there shouldn't have been any, right? read more

Our lender used Ace Exterminating for our refi termite inspection in 2018 and they were wonderful - on time, helpful, thorough, just perfect. It's been almost a year but we experienced a mouse problem in the last few days so decided to call Ace for that. So glad we did! Tammy C. came and was wonderful. Ahh, home ownership. There's a lot to love but with every passing day there's a new discovery and/or obstacle to overcome. The need for pest control is one of those new-to-me things. Turns out that 90 degree temps in late September work out well for bugs. Thanks, climate change. And, despite living in the middle of the city, termites, carpenter bees and the rest are all real threats. Ugh. Really? I thought I'd only have to worry about these pests if I lived out in the country. Doesn't city pollution have *any* benefits? Also a risk: mice. Again, it turns out that the adage about country mice and city mice comes from reality. I guess I just never paid attention to these things before. I lived in bigger cities, usually in high rises. My worries were unclean neighbors and the bugs they might attract. If something happened, I called the landlord, freaked out for a day and it was handled. Now? I'm the landlord and if something happens I have to fix it. I'm not planning on anything happening. Enter: Ace. Ace had the initial contract on my house to check for potential termite problems. The tech who came out to service my home was Brian Hackett. Brian's a really good guy. He's honest, hard-working and does the job of three guys. On his first visit, he took me all around my house, told me what he was looking for, told me what I should be looking for, and gave my home a clean bill of health. Awesome. I'll take it. On his next (yearly) visit, again, he found no sign of termites. Woo-hoo! He was, however, dive bombed by a bee. I wasn't concerned because we need bees so I just learn to live with them. Thing is, this was no honey bee. This was a carpenter bee and all the wood on my home is just the kind of tasty treat they enjoy. Ugh. Okay. What's the solution? A spray/sealant and advice on how to further protect my home. See, this is what I like about Brian. Not only does he do his job, provide the service and fix the problem, he lets me know how to prevent further problems in the future. This kind of assistance creates trust which creates client longevity. My latest call: a dead mouse found by the window on my lower level. Nope. Not today, Satan. I called Brian on a Sunday (out of my mind, by the way) and he was at my house on Tuesday. We checked the outside of my home for potential entry points. Evidently, mice only need an inch or so to make their way into your home. #thestuffofnightmares Thankfully, my home's pretty well-sealed but Brian found a potential entry point that I am caulking this weekend (definitely before it gets cold). He went around my house looking for droppings and I was relieved to see many of the potential hiding places were clear. Just to be safe, he left some poison traps and a follow up appointment for a month from now. He also sprayed my basement and garage for spiders.* I feel like my house is mine again. Brian Hackett is my guy. I'm pretty sure he should be yours, too. Daniel Hamilton is aces as well. This guy is SUPER thorough and is in demand. He'll make sure you're satisfied, he'll answer all your questions and he'll make sure that everything is as it should be. With a resume like that, he's super busy and he requests that people not ask for him if it's not an emergency -- so he can help more people. Yep, he's that good *and* that thoughtful!! *I felt a bit bad about that. I have a deal with spiders. They stay outside and in the corners of my basement I don't go in and they can eat all the bugs they want, keeping my home bug free (which it's been). They don't bother me; I don't bother them. Had an "inspector" come to the house to do a termite inspection. Found wood bee holes in the deck, its a 3 story log home with 3 decks, surprise surpise he found wood bee holes. Wrote it up as an infestation with $1,400 to treat and gave to my wife. When I start calling (no one calls me back) the "inspector" call my realtor and says its $150 for a treatment, and the $1400 was for a warranty. The reality is the "inspectors" are commissioned sales people. I would love to see how they can treat a 3 story log home with 3 decks for $150 correctly? read more

I needed a termite inspection for a home closing. I called multiple place and Ace charged the least-I guess you get what you pay for. The service provider was late to the inspection, only calling to say he was running hours behind. That's the last I heard from them. I called and left voicemail that day to get results. Called again next business day and was told I would have results in 30 minutes. (I had been told I would have results same day of inspection) Two hours later still didn't have results so had to call back again. Finally received but it was a hassle to get them. read more

We have been using Ace for about 4 years, after receiving a referral from a friend, who used them for several years as well. Bryant is our service technician, and has helped us keep our house rid of things that "bug" us, and educates us on the things that we can't get rid of, but can control to a tolerable level. The point is that we live on earth, among trees, dirt, etc., we are not going to get rid of everything but we can surely have a partner to help us out where they can. I appreciate Bryant, and Ace, but if Bryant ever leaves, And we get a new person, I will keep an eye out to see if I want to stick with them because I believe in people, not the company. read more

I used them at the reference of a flipper. I've always had to pay to have them come out 3 or more times for any roach problem. I think 3 and 4 times is too many. They're just too skimpy on what type/where and how much killer to be effective on vacant houses. Putting out bug bombs worked just as good/poorly as they are as three treatments with foggers did same trick for heck of a lot less $ and hassle of giving the access codes & paying them, etc. I'd just look elsewhere, I gave them three properties not a 4th. read more

Our landlord has ACE come to our house every month to do some exterminating around the house (inside and out). Our ACE guy is so fantastic, kind, in and out quickly, informative. They took care of a roaches issue and also did a free Brown Recluse inspection (we don't have any. Phew!) AWFUL! Treated twice for yellow jackets, saw them, commented on them. Marked on the paperwork he treated for hornets. Now the company won't return to treat for yellow jackets without a new estimate. Total waste of money and time and resulted in a severe attack from them the day after his second treatment. Customer service was RUDE on the phone and acted as if it was the home owners problem, not the exterminator treating the wrong pest TWICE. read more

I've been a customer of ACE for almost a year now and have had nothing but great experiences with them. They were recommended to me by our real estate agent and have helped with multiple problems around our house, the biggest being bugs. Shortly after moving in we discovered we had a brown recluse problem, and ACE was great with walking us through the remediation process. They have also been extremely helpful with other aspects of our home- we recently hired them to add extra insulation to our attic (mixed with bug repellant!) which is saving us a ton of money on heating/cooling while also adding an extra layer to keep the bugs away. I used these guys for years and had great service till my pest control guy went into management . My new guy did a ok job except for removing spider webs around the house. He said he could not reach the second story and the company would not buy extension rods to remove them ($40 for a extension pole at lowes.)Some employees bought there own he said. I called management (Jennifer) and she said they do it "as a favor" . The checklist that the company ask you to sign to acknowledge services rendered has remove spider webs as a service provided. So I asked them to remove me from there service list because I do not wish to pay full price for half the service . read more

I had been with them for five years. After moving I got a new service tech and had several issues. They management would not compensate for the poor service. Then accounting made a mistake and double charged me. I would not suggest them based upon managements inability to communicate clearly and resolve client concerns. read more
