This was my second time here and when I tell you they remembered me and what they did for me and asked about my sister and the baby and about my move to Cali soon. This type of customer service and personable character speaks volumes to me. I love the fact that they really treat you as family in no time. Trust I get it is a business and being polite should be required, but this place goes above and beyond. Twee did another fabulous job on my nails. However, even if I set up an appointment in their online system, when I show up, they will assign me to whomever. Kim, an older nail tech, is nice but she is rough and her work is inconsistent. I went today and my hands are still stinging. Interestingly enough, this is probably the best manicure I've received from her. Other times the builder gel has been too thick. They frequently pair me with her even if I request someone else. There is another young lady in there who does a decent job. This is the kind of shop where they probably make most of their money off of pedicures. It is clean. It is quiet. Far from perfect though.

The service was quick as soon as I arrived, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had a broken nail that would not grow back properly, and they fixed it so beautifully that you can't even tell there was ever an issue. The salon was very clean and relaxing, and I loved that they offered snacks and drinks while I was being serviced. The massage chairs and foot massage were an added bonus and made the whole experience feel extra luxurious. They even have a punch card system now to receive discounts after multiple visits. Got my nails done on a Friday by the technician at station #12 and by the following Thursday, less than a weeks time, my nails were coming off. By Sunday, 8 nails were off. Went in on Monday to speak with the nail technician to see what could be done since she informed me that the dip nails last about 3 weeks (well, mine were off by week 1) but she wasn't there. I asked to speak with the manager who also wasn't there but a technician called her on the phone. She understood that at day 6, my nails were coming off...she asked how much did I pay and I informed her $50. She offered to give me a $30 credit and I pay $20 for a new full set. I'm confused because I paid $50 and was told that they would last 3 weeks, but less than a week they were popping off. Now you want me to pay an additional $20...which would make it a $70 service in the end and in a 1 week period...less than the 3 weeks that I was told they would last. I couldn't stay for the service to be done at that time and asked if I could get the $30 credit and come back at a later date. Speaking in their native language...I now see what was told for the technician to do. The technician wrote up the voucher/certificate but it was for $20. I'm not understanding why it went from $30 to $20. I asked the technician why it was $20...she then called the manager back and I informed her that she offered me a $30 credit. I was told no, the $30 credit was if I did them right then and there and If I didn't get it done then the credit would be $20 because when I walk out the door, the value of the service goes down. Huh? Is this a nail salon or car dealership? When does the value of a set of nails go down...if they are done right? If they are done improperly and the nails don't last as long as they were suggested then yes, you didn't give the client the value of service that they paid for...your value goes down. Unacceptable! A waste of money for sure.

I opted for the deluxe pedicure ($80) which didn't quite feel "deluxe" the massage was hard and fast (going through the process instead of giving an actual short massage for a $80 pedicure), there was no candle wax (I can't think of the proper name but you know what I mean) and I wear the same polish every time but I was given 2 coats and it shows my imperfections - I should've checked before I left but for $80 you know when it looks off so at least ask. All in all, I would absolutely go back for hands but not feet.

I came in for a hard gel removal and was told they would soak it off with acetone. I requested filing instead, since hard gel cannot be safely soaked off. The person I believe is the owner/manager dismissed my concern, said filing would "take too long," and insisted soaking was the only option. This is not just a preference issue--it's improper technique that can seriously damage natural nails. I left without the service and later had another technician confirm that soaking hard gel is not a safe or correct removal method. If a salon offers hard gel, they should know how to properly and safely remove it. This experience made me seriously question their practices.
