I had such a great experience at this nail salon! I asked for a french gel pedicure and I got the deluxe pedicure. The service was quick as soon as I arrived, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had a broken nail that would not grow back properly, and they fixed it so beautifully that you can't even tell there was ever an issue. The salon was very clean and relaxing, and I loved that they offered snacks and drinks while I was being serviced. The massage chairs and foot massage were an added bonus and made the whole experience feel extra luxurious. They even have a punch card system now to receive discounts after multiple visits. I don't get my nails done often but I decided to go in for the dip full set because one of my friends nails were pretty. Got my nails done on a Friday by the technician at station #12 and by the following Thursday, less than a weeks time, my nails were coming off. By Sunday, 8 nails were off. Went in on Monday to speak with the nail technician to see what could be done since she informed me that the dip nails last about 3 weeks (well, mine were off by week 1) but she wasn't there. I asked to speak with the manager who also wasn't there but a technician called her on the phone. She understood that at day 6, my nails were coming off...she asked how much did I pay and I informed her $50. She offered to give me a $30 credit and I pay $20 for a new full set. I'm confused because I paid $50 and was told that they would last 3 weeks, but less than a week they were popping off. Now you want me to pay an additional $20...which would make it a $70 service in the end and in a 1 week period...less than the 3 weeks that I was told they would last. I couldn't stay for the service to be done at that time and asked if I could get the $30 credit and come back at a later date. Speaking in their native language...I now see what was told for the technician to do. The technician wrote up the voucher/certificate but it was for $20. I'm not understanding why it went from $30 to $20. I asked the technician why it was $20...she then called the manager back and I informed her that she offered me a $30 credit. I was told no, the $30 credit was if I did them right then and there and If I didn't get it done then the credit would be $20 because when I walk out the door, the value of the service goes down. Huh? Is this a nail salon or car dealership? When does the value of a set of nails go down...if they are done right? If they are done improperly and the nails don't last as long as they were suggested then yes, you didn't give the client the value of service that they paid for...your value goes down. Unacceptable! After a long day of moving furniture, I went home, showered and came to the nearest nail salon. I've never been to this shop before, but I'm so glad I did. One cool factor is that they do everything. They do pedicures, manicures, waxing of all body parts, facials, and body massages. I was pretty impressed with the variety of services that they offered. The cost is a little more than average but I think it is worth it. Mimi was my technician. I shared with her that it was my first time. She showed me their nail polish palate and was very knowledgeable in what would best compliment my feet. I decided to do gel polish for my pedicure and regular for the manicure. For the pedicure, I got the sea salt scrub. It felt great. Mimi was pretty thorough. When it was time to paint my toes, she brought out this fancy machine for drying toe nails (see pic). I've never seen anything like it. I was pretty impressed. The dryer really smoothed out the polish and gave it a clean look. I felt so regal. Lol. The manicure was pretty standard which met my needs. I care less about my hands and more about my feet. Lol. Don't judge me. One cool thing is that it's been a week and my manicure is still nice and fresh even with standard nail polish. So they have great quality products which also explains the slightly higher prices. My pedicure....my gel nails look just as strong as when she first did it. I always regret coming here ... At one time I came here quite often years ago. Because of convenience. And my feelings about this salon haven't changed. Today I came because they are close to my daughter's school. They always try to get you to upgrade the service. Yet , I never feel I get my money's worth. I had the $32 pedicure and it honestly didn't feel anymore luxurious than what a basic pedicure would've been. The few extra steps just felt like the technician was going thru the motions. So when you go here you have to get Lee to do your nails. She is the BEST!!!!!! I see the other reviews about people not being satisfied but LEE is so GREAT that when I go other places they ask me who did my nails because they are so perfect. She really takes her time and she makes all of the rest of the nail technicians jealous because everybody wants to go to her and she makes the most money. It is VERY challenging getting an appointment though because she is the best. The salon as lots of nice Gel colors too as well. read more

Frustratingly lame pedicure. First of the season, was looking for a nice thorough treatment and am leaving disappointed. Neither foot received the same level/type of service, which always bothers me with this type of salon. Even after I mentioned I prefer firm treatment (I'm ticklish, firm hands, rough scrub is the only way to alleviate this for me), I still received the same strength of scrape/scrub/rub as that time my friends' 7-year old played "Spa Day". This has become my favorite nail shop. Leo (my nail tech) and I have been together since he first started working there. Over the years we have developed an unusually strong bond. We hang out, I rescue him when he's in need, we text all the time,we fuss at each other, and in a nutshell...we are a good match. You sort of have to see it to believe it, but it's true. As long as he is there, I will always get my nails done there. If Leo goes...I go. The funny thing is I was one of their first customers when they opened and Leo was not working there then. He came a few years after they opened and after he did my nails the first time, I no longer trust anyone else with my nails...or feet. The other staff and owners Tracey and Dominick are nice too. I want to say it was almost a 5 star Joann did good work on Gel Manicure great feeling pedicure. They actually have regular nail Polish to match the Gel Polish for your pedicure. I love the look very pretty. I love the fact I was able to stay with same technician all the way through unlike some salons you get one person for your pedicure and another for your nails. The only reason I took off stars was for her advice that my toes were dry and I could put my shoes on in fact they wasn't after pulling off shoes and socks in fact my toes were messed up. Polish missing off of two and the other ones are smudge hard to tell cause glitter Polish but in fact I will go back but I will trust my own judgment if my toes are dry or not. Overall I love the treatment and love my nails just wish toes would have actually been dry. read more

The worst experience of my life. On arrival to the salon, I have to admit that I was greeted immediately. I explained what I wanted and then a young lady escorted me back. She spoke English just as well as I did but when I told what I wanted she pretended not to understand. I caught as she explained to another nail tech that she had an appointment coming. She then attempted to swap out with another person. When I inquired as to why she agitatedly said "I have another appt". She then grudgingly proceeded to complete my pedicure while stopping repeatedly to text. She then put some dried out polish on my toes that looked awful. So agitated at this point I just asked that she remove the polish and leave it. She used a motorized filler to remove my old gel polish that burned so bad. I can still feel pieces of polish still on my nails. I really am disappointed as this shop came highly recommended. The worst experience I have ever had! read more

Went once when I was in the area. It was standard; I got a full gel set. The acrylic was thin so they broke easily. I showed the tech the exact shape thru a picture and it was still off despite my best efforts. Picked a color and when it was the wrong one, but the tech insisted I was wrong. I lucked up and got mimi and I think I will be coming here regularly now because of her! I got a pedicure and a fill in with gel polish, she's was very meticulous when doing my nails and i'm so satisfied with her work! I've been coming here for awhile. And I've seen a few people but I only let MiMi do my nails now. She's very good, her work is great. I only have to get a fill every 3-4 weeks. She's also good with eyebrows and pedi. I always make an appointment with her. She gets booked up pretty quick. The salon is very clean. It gets a little pricy I can easily spend 50+ in a visit. I've been going here for almost a little over a year. No problems ever. You would think this place would be crowded due to the massive amounts of federal employees and contractors but it never is. After the way I was treated there today I will NEVER go back. The woman who did my nails told me that she needed to charge me for a full set instead of a fill in because of the damage my nails were in. First of all, I get my nails done every 2 weeks like clock work so no damage. Then she told me my skin was too dry and I needed more lotion. I use coconut oil on my skin daily so no issue except it is winter. I hate these places that try to price gouge you. Cut downs used to be included in the price. Now they charge for everything. You've lost me. What they fail to realize is they aren't the only place around that does nails. read more

Great shop, great environment, all nail techs are good. This is by far my favorite nail salon.

This was my first time in the nail salon. I went there this evening after I called to verify the cost of a gel manicure. On the phone I was told that this service was $20. When I was in the chair, I was told that it was $25 and if I wanted a manicure it would be an additional $10. My nail color really needed to be changed and the technician had begun to apply the gel remover so I told her that I would not need the "manicure". $25 for a polish change seemed ridiculous but I accepted it. When the technician pulled out the cuticle cutter (I do not know the professional term) I stated (again) that I was not getting a manicure. She told me that she was trimming the skin at the sides of my nail bed, not the cuticle, to make it neater. When I checked out, the technician charged me $35 for a manicure. I was very upset. I have had COUNTLESS gel manicures. Yes, my nail color application was great but what I received was no true manicure! I reminded her that I told her more than once that I did NOT want the manicure. To which she responded that she misunderstood and that she would make it to me up next time. Unfortunately, she will not get the chance. I was tempted to ask her to return my tip; however, I did not. I am not happy about receiving three different prices for the same service in less than 20 minutes. I do not appreciate confirming the price of the service with the technician and being charged something else at the register. I will not return to this salon. read more

I tried this salon based on other reviews. I walked in on a Saturday. First thing I always do is check for cleanliness and the price list. After checking in and finding out prices, I decided to get brow wax, and a mani- pedi. Technician was kinda cold but accommodating. I had to tell her to take dead skin off that she should have done automatically. Next she received a phone call and I could hear her say to the person, " oh come right in and I will get you started". Next she started on my hands when a young lady came in and she sat at the next table. She stopped working on my hands and started working on this other lady's hands. I said oh wait one minute, how do you think you are going to stop my services to start another? I read her butt! Oh yeah she apologized but I'm a new client first impressions are forever and so in my opinion that was the most thoughtless act she could have made. Beyond that my nails look like a amateur did them. I gave this broad a good tip too! My tip to anyone looking for nail services ask your friends for a specific individual.
