17th Annual Wine Spectators Grand Tasting was held at the Palm Beach County Convention Center…read more Sunday tickets were $250 a piece and this included dish and dessert tastings from 60 South Florida restaurants. It was also 100+ wine/spirit offerings to taste also. The atmosphere was lively and everyone was enjoying the food/drinks and in good spirits! This is my type of crowd and I really enjoyed myself. Creekstone Farms hosted a local chef competition for $10k donation to a local charity. Celebrity guest chefs, Robert Irvine, Tiffany Faison, and Maneet Chauhan were in attendance. I cannot wait until next years! Lastly, Garage parking was $6 flat, way cheaper than City of West Palm $15 rate downtown.

The hosts this year included Robert Irvine, Maneet Chauhan, and Tiffani Faison. The event seemed very well organized, with tents spread out all over the floor of the convention center (several aisles and rows). You picked up a wine glass right when you walked in. The wines they had were excellent, and the samples of food were even better. The few downsides of this event this year (2024) were the LONG line to get in and the amount of people in attendance (shoulder to shoulder with everyone). I was also disappointed that an hour and a half before the event ended, vendors started running out of food. I missed out on 4 stands I REALLY wanted to try because "they ran out of food" or "they ran out of plates/utensils". Big letdown when you pay a high price for a ticket. Did enjoy seeing some of the vendors selling things like merchandise, clothes, ornaments, etc. I would go to another event- but with the hopes that there would be less people (I've heard there's been way less in the past). Tip- buy tickets when they first are released and save over $100/person'

It was very fair priced and we will be enjoying their food very often. I want to say the staff was very attentive. And the guy fudge sundae with 18 caret gold topping was an excellant desert. The dining room is filled with natural light and fantastic views, with tables set perfectly -- it has that refined, clubby feel. The bar has great character and was lively with members enjoying themselves. You can't help but feel good here. Service is outstanding -- everyone so polished, friendly, and in crisp uniforms. During our meal, Sommer, Charlie, and Jay took wonderful care of us -- professional, attentive, and genuine. The food is superb -- high quality, beautifully prepared, and perfectly paced. You're never rushed; everything reflects an appreciation for civility and grace that's rare today. The Maine Lobster Bisque is a must -- rich in flavor but not heavy, with a generous portion of lobster. The Wedge Salad offers a creative twist with dried cranberries, toasted pignoli nuts, Maytag bleu cheese, and a touch of balsamic vinaigrette. The Jumbo Lump Crabmeat Martini is light and fresh, and the Corned Beef Reuben was excellent -- perfectly cooked with hot, crisp fries and good coleslaw on the side. The wine list is well chosen with some real gems -- prices are high but fair. Finally, the valet service deserves special mention -- smooth, professional. Pull up to the entrance, no ticket needed; when you leave, your car is already waiting. The perfect finishing touch to a truly exceptional afternoon. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - PRIVATE CLUB

I found their wines (especially their reds) to be very enjoyable and Bob's ability to explain the intricacies of each varietal to be extraordinary. I enjoyed their wines so much after participating in a couple of tastings that I joined their wine guild where I receive discount specials on many bottles of wine for us to enjoy and complimentary tastings as well as other perks. For my money, the Vulcan and Apollo are my favorite red wines, which suits my palate quite wonderfully. Their rose and sparkling wines are additionally very good. They pair well with a variety of different foods for lunch and dinner. They have recently upgraded their tasting room located at the Palm Beach Polo & Country Club in Wellington, which comprises three intimate tasting rooms. Since I had a complimentary tasting to use recently, I took my wife there for the first of two celebrations we had scheduled for our dating anniversary (yes, we still celebrate those). We had sampled at least four wines including their bubbly, their rose, and their Mars red. Loren took good care of us, providing us with great charcuterie and cheese and different olive oil dippings with which to enjoy. She was incredibly accommodating and friendly and made our experience wonderful during our two hour tasting. We finished with some amaretto and truffles, which were also good and tasty. They have a lot of events they do on a monthly basis that are fun. I will definitely be taking advantage of them in 2024. So will my wife.

The wine specialist spoke about the wines and gave us a good education about the wine process. The venue is located in a guarded country club development. It was hard to find without specific directions. The room was intimate with all the tables beautifully set up with lots of various wine glasses, plates and silverware. The homemade bread was awesome. Unfortunately the wines weren't our cup of tea but it was nice to try different varieties- 3 whites and 3 reds. The appetizers were beautifully served variety of cheese, olives, cured meats, crackers and nuts. The homemade chocolate truffles were quite an indulgence. This is a nice place to have an event to network or entertain. The wine being sold is expensive. The staff helping to serve were amicable and efficient. This was a nice event to attend.
