Did y'all that they sell Shu Mai & Saopao here? I don't ever check their hot food section, but there was a line one day so I had time to browse. They told me that they were the only location that sold them, so I figured I'd give them a try. I got an order of six Shu Mai and one chicken & pork Siopao. They only had soy sauce, but good thing I keep hot sauce in my car. lol The Shu Mai wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. Sounds weird right?, but I went in already picturing them to taste like some frozen version, but they weren't. They were porky and a little on the small size. I think they were like 59 cents each. As for the Siopao, they were both bbq based, looked the same, had the same texture, overly salty sweet for my taste. I have been coming to this Loop location for about a year now, and everyone here has always been super friendly! The staff do a great job keeping everything stocked and the store spotless. I have been to many Loop stations, and as a subscriber to their soft drink and coffee program, this location has been the most reliable by far. I get my gas, drinks, and car washes here on a regular basis, and the staff are always welcoming and kind to me. It doesn't matter if it is day or night, they are always very consistent. I just wish other Loop locations could match the level of reliability and service this one consistently maintains. read more

I usually get the most expensive car wash here which is about $15. However it's used to be $10 so definitely went up in price. It's a convenient location in Daly City if you're in the area and need a car wash. The machine usually does a good job. But for some reason this last time I went there was still some bird poop on my window which was disappointing. read more

I came here for gas and saw that it was a Shell Station which I am signed up for the rewards program where you enter your number and you'd get 5 cents off each gallon of gas. I came in and paid the Indian clerk $25 for gas, then I asked if this was a Shell station and he said yes and knew I wanted to do rewards. I punched in my number and it didn't work. He went back to restart the transaction so I can punch in my number. Overall I liked how patient he was and restart the transaction so I can do my rewards and get 5 cents off each gallon. I've been to another Shell , the one at Alemany and Geneva and that clerk Neil was impatient. This guy had great customer service skills and was nice and patient. I also liked how clean the store was and the impressive selections of snacks and beverages. They even have a froyo machine. read more

I work 2 blocks from this station. The pumps are old as dirt. No exaggeration -- the card readers break at least once a week and are "out of order". This means all gas must be purchased inside. The loop itself seems nice at first with its modern appearance and vast array of offerings. Until you realize the cash registers (which appear modern too) have their own problems at least once a week. These issues make shopping here for gas both frustrating and inefficient. I go up the street now to Hillside gas ... in and out without the BS of corporate Stoop d'Loop. read more

Long story short I ate them a day later and immediately threw up like after the second pickle the date on the bag? May 22 2020. It was may 31st! This gas station shop is definitely cooler than any gas station shop I've ever been to. Once inside you're going to notice that this store has a LARGE selection of drinks. They even have brands that I've never heard of, but sound awesome to try. They got coffee machines and slurpee machines which is like 7/11, but the cool part is that they have these cool soda machines and their HOW TO board even show you some recipes to try out. Their snacks here are pretty standard, but the selection is better. A lot of different flavors of beef jerky, candy, ice cream, and chips are available at a sort of high cost. Service was friendly on my first trip here, but my second trip was a whole other story. The Mexican girl working here was pretty rude. A customer came in and he was having trouble with the pump so he came in to ask if his card went through and he was having trouble understanding the girl who kept saying "It went through. Go back to your pump and just pump the gas!" in a really rude tone. Maybe she was getting annoyed by his inability to understand, but that doesn't call for rudeness. And when I asked if she had anymore lids for the 32 oz. slurpee cups, she just said, "No. Use the lids for the soda cups." Uhm, okay. Thanks? Prices for items here are pretty expensive so you're going to have to see if you're willing to pay. It's interesting that they have about 4 seats in here to sit at and they offer wifi. Overall, would come here again, but only when it's convenient otherwise I can get the same stuff at a cheaper cost elsewhere. read more

Geriatric Gangsta's fa' life! They also have an old school ICEE machine that cranks out classic flavored slushy drinks as well as a coffee bar for all of you caffeinated cats. For some maybe they think this place is too expensive. Well the items can be pricey but it's a convenience store. Add the fact that they sell a lot of "healthy" items. When they first opened, we love that their yogurt was good and they had mochi. I liked when they changed selling their yogurt from per oz. to cup but i hate that extra topping is a lot more expensive. She didn't want to sell me because she worries to run out of change as she stated! I asked for 20$ bill change, KIM said you have to buy something, I had 50$, and 20$ in my wallet, so if I buy with the 20$ I will not have 20$ change that's why I had to use the 50$ to buy so I got lottery for 20$ and I gave her the 50$, then she said I don't have change!! The customer ahead of me just gave her 20$! But simply she didn't want me to have the change even when I told her I am a loop loyal customer and I showed her my card. She said I have less than 100$ of change I cannot give you change, so I said okay I wanna get this lottery ticket. What should I do. She said I am going to void it. And that what she did, and I asked for her name and told her I am going to report this she said it's okay you can even tell the manager she is in the back. Then the manager asked me to go to the next register because "she don't have change of fives" I didn't even mention what type of bills I want! Anyway I got my change. Then I came back to get my receipt after putting gas and asked for the receipt to do the car wash! I've never waited almost an hour to get a self-serve car wash. Once you're in the line, you can't get out. If the line is all the way at the entrance sign, expect an hour or more wait. Ridiculous. They should indicate a sign how long would the wait be based on the distance from the actually car wash entrance. The actual car wash machine is about 10 cars away from the entrance sign. read more

Absolutely wonderful! I was practically gasping for joy when I realized that my dead (lol) neighborhood had finally opened up a 24-hr one stop shop with quality items. That's right, folks! They are open 24 hours a day and they have a much more sophisticated selection then say, the 7-11 on the opposite corner (don't get me wrong, I love those guys, but I think this place is going to steal me away from them). I found stuff comparable to the Whole Foods where I work and shop. Seriously?? Raw vegan goodies?? In Colma?! Not that I am vegan or anything, but my goodness.... Prepared sandwiches also looked much tastier than the kind offered at Safeway/Walgreens/etc. There were even a couple on Dutch Crunch bread! A little pricier, but I get it. Extremely wide variety of teas, energy drinks (flavors of Steaz that we didn't even have at Whole Foods!), fancy and not-so-fancy sodas, naturally low-cal drinks (they had Izze-esque?! STFU). They also have a wide variety of Kettle brand chips and large and small bags of candy. All the convenience store standards, plus stuff you might expect to find at a specialty store. Smaller selection of household items and canned things, but you can get fancy iPhone chargers and condoms 24/7! :D I am very happy to find a store with quality items that keeps the same hours I do, especially in this valley of nothingness that is Colma. F### this place. Straight up. The drinks are cool. I appreciate the selection they have but that's about as good as it gets. As far as the gas and the car wash go, you can forget me with all that. The vaccum is $1.50 a minute. You're not vaccuming jack in a minute. Go across the street to the self serve car wash and I guarantee you you're playing the same amount for 3x the time. Also, don't bother with the fragrance machine. You're better off with a bottle of Febreeze. The gas is expensive as all hell. Again, roll up Hillside Blvd a little more, I'm sure you'll find less expensive fuel. Finally, the car wash isn't worth it. $11 and I still have bird s### on my car! It's great that they did a complete overhaul in this location from what it used to be, the place definitely has eye appeal when driving by it or just viewing it from the outside. As soon was you walk into the store you'll noticed everything on their shelves is faced out including their beverage walls. They have such a huge selection of drinks that even a thirsty person would have to stop to think for a minute to figure out what to buy. There's a nice coffee setup also and their coffee is really good in the morning , but avoid buying coffee at night because I don't think the staff maintains it after a certain time and you'll end up with old bitter coffee. When you buy a 4 of cups of coffee you get the next one free Pre-Made sandwiches are priced over 7 dollars which is really high compared to getting sandwiches from places like subway. What's also great is that they have a froyo bar for the rare hot and sunny Daly City days. All in all it's a good clean store. read more

I went to get my car washed and I waited one hour to get to pay machine to read " stop pay inside" written in small print. I was highly disappointed and frustrated by the wait as someone who values there time. How was I supposed to know to pay inside first? Shouldn't there be an option to pay like any other gas station? Or at least put up a sign before pulling in to driveway letting customers know to pay first. I tried calling the store to speak with a manager after 45 minutes waiting in line and no answer. I felt trapped with no where to go but to wait even longer until I could finally drive out of car wash area. I immediately went inside to speak with a manager and voiced my concern about the very poor customer experience and if there was anything Loop gas station @ Hillside Blvd. could do to help me. Tried this place out recently after getting sick of the same old thing at 7-11 across the way. Nothing against 7-11, they serve a purpose and do a damn fine job at it but Loop is now my go to for an easy snack or beverage when im out and about. They have offerings that you dont usually expect to see at a gas/mart/car washing establishment including some delicious frozen yogurt (plenty of toppings too) you can only have so many slurpees before you want to mix it up a little bit. They beverage selection is very good especially if you just want refreshment and aren't looking for a 12pack of cheap brew (its not like thats a tough thing to find there are like 16000 liquor stores with a few blocks of here). I tried a sample of some cookies and cream thing that was awesome... gunna be back soon to try that out. The staff is on top of everything going on and I've dealt with a tall guy working the counter there a few times I've been in there and he's given the energy of a manager working a busy restaurant and seems to care about the business. Everyone else seems to be taking care of things, I only mention this guy in particular because 90% of the time thats who helps me out. Keep up the good work! read more

This is the best outfitted gas station in Daly City. Every thing you need while taking a quick stop for gas. Problem is almost every one of the women that work here are ghetto and rude as hell. Constantly Cackling, shouting across the store in Spanish, looking at customers as if you are an irritation. Stuffing their face with food. They rarely say hi or thank you. If you complain about Luke warm coffee they just roll their eyes at you. It's really sad that a great gas station is staffed by people with such negative energy and poor manners. Great gas station/ store! Just moved to DC from SF and Loop is close by. Usually stop by in the mornings for gas or goods. Store is always clean, things seem to be stocked neatly, great variety of pastries and food. Recently went in and was offered a rewards card with my car wash purchase and WOW, attendant was so informative, patient and not to mention HOT! I usually am attended by a tall pretty chick or the sexy little thick chick , LOOP definitely chose right with them! Great customer service all smiles all the time! read more
