One of my favorite places in Tuscaloosa. We brought the dog, so sitting outside in the patio was preferred Was very nice to getaway and enjoy a beer with my spouse. This place is wonderful because we can sit inside if we get cold with the dog and it is no problem. Perfect for a simple night out!

Loosa has a wonderful selection of rotating in state and out of state beers/ciders/sours, and some off the friendliest people in town! Always a cozy environment, and a great place to hang with friends

My boyfriend and I stopped at Loosa Brews to see what they had to offer. We were greeted by staff and shown around the store a bit. I discovered that they were not a brewery but a store to purchase all different kinds of beer and wine. They don't offer flights, but unlimited tasting and then you pick which beer you will have on draft. We both tasted a few of their local brewer's Alabama beers. They had an out-of-state beer menu as well as an in-state beer menu. The lady helping us was very nice and friendly. Also, they even had some fun beer flavors (i.e. bomb pop, etc...) to try. We ended up taking home a crowler of their bomb pop flavored beer as we both really liked it. This is a cool spot in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to try all different beers from Alabama and also from other states!

Sweet craft beer bar with an insane amount of beers on tap. Menu is integrated with untapped so you can check it out on their app and find the beer you're looking for. Game room in the back featuring some classic arcade games and a nice patio out back too. Must stop in Tuscaloosa if you're a beer fan.

When it comes to craft breweries, this is not your ordinary place of fermenters, car boys, thermometers etc... this place is where you go to enjoy craft beers made from the state of Alabama, and surrounding southern states like Georgia, Mississippi and Florida. In my opinion, this venue is set for all ages, especially a first date. Why? Well, when you first walk in there is a casual lounge area, where you can sit back, relax and have a conversation without any interruptions. As you find your way thru the venue, you will find a grab and go beer selection to choose from. After that, you will find the bar... which is about 7 bar stools but don't worry, there's more to see and sit... once you have arrived at the bar, you will notice the hallway has old beer signs posted on the wall, and the color of the walls change... why? Because in the back section there is a game room! Everything from ping-ping to racing bikes! Oh, and just around the bend there is a backyard sitting area that is very nice too watch the sun set. Over all, great place!!! Even if they don't brew there own beer!

Coming from San Diego, this is by far the best tap room and bottled/canned craft beer selection in town.

Notes: 1) been here once…read more2) nice waiting area in front 3) close to Black Warrior Pros: 1) good service 2) good ambiance Cons: 1) okay food Ratings: 3.5/5 Service was really good. Ambiance was overall good. There is a nice waiting area outside which leads into a long hallway where the tables are. The space is used well but could be much improved. There is also a bar which separates the seating area from the bathroom/ back. The food is overall not bad. The mozzarella stick appetizer was good, cheesy and fried well. The marinara sauce was okay. The chicken Parmesan was good. The chicken was cooked well and the Parmesan was a good addition. The spaghetti did not add much to the dish. It felt like store bought spaghetti. Food ratings: 1) mozzarella app: overall 3/5, solid for what it was but nothing impressive 2) chicken Parmesan: overall 2.5/5, solid chicken but other additions didn't really bring much

We didn't drive into town with football traffic, so we ordered Sugo on DoorDash…read more Caesar salad. No croutons. A box full of Romain. A tiny amount of shredded Parmesan. a small tomato on each corner. An ounce of dressing. A three dollar bagged salad from Publix far exceeded Sugos entree salad. Cavatappi, had to literally be from the same box that I buy it from at the store. Had a scoop of Pomodoro sauce on it. And a meatball. I was hoping the meatball would've been the saving grace , but it unfortunately didn't have any flavor and broke apart. Bruschetta salmon. A fillet of salmon that had a small amount of bruschetta topping on the top. Five pieces of grilled asparagus beside it. We opted for the seasonal festival, which was a white Styrofoam container of what appeared to be French cut green beans out of a can. The salmon was good, but this was not a gourmet meal by any means. Positive note. The bread pudding was decent. I know that we won't be going to the restaurant anytime soon and we'll stick with probably Depalmas when they open back up.

We thoroughly toured the list of French wines, imbibed on a couple of their yummy cocktails (my friend loves the "Last Word"). Service was, of course, fantastic. The location is one of the most quaint and vibey in town (Morris Ave) and the food is certainly up to snuff. We split the famous potato appetizer and I had the half chicken for entree. Both outstanding.

We were able to make a reservation for inside dining which I liked because it was a hot June Alabama day, but I would have preferred outside because it was so loud inside, there was no sound suppression, and the tables were very close together. The outside patio was nice and covered. Next time I will request to sit outside. We started with the sourdough bread which I highly recommend! There was enough pieces to have one while you waited for your dinner, and to save one to eat with your dinner. My husband ordered the deviled eggs and really enjoyed them. For our entree, we shared the roasted chicken. It was a half chicken with lemon, garlic, shallots and potato gratin. It was plenty for both of us. We even had leftovers. This is probably because of the appetizers and we had stopped for drinks at Cayo Coco before dinner. We usually skip dessert, but my husband really wanted to try the chocolate custard, bittersweet chocolate custard with chantilly cream. The presentation was beautiful. I had a couple of bites and it also tasted amazing. Our waiter recommended a dessert wine that paired with the custard. He let us try a couple of sips, and the sweet fruitiness really made a difference. The service was amazing. We will definitely be back.
