They lowered the large limbs on ropes so that neither our roof nor our landscaping or the neighbor's landscaping would suffer damage. They thoroughly cleaned up all debris from the job in our yard and the adjoining neighbors' yards. Lopez Tree Service was highly recommended by a local arborist and his rates were the most reasonable. I was not disappointed. We had some minor work in the backyard on some tall bushes and small trees, so we weren't sure if calling a tree trimming service was overkill. After talking to Arturo, he said he could come by in between jobs with some guys and check it out. Even though we didn't have any huge trees, he still came by with lots of equipment, and trimmed a bunch of stuff in the backyard. They cleaned up all the trimmings, hauled it away, and Arturo even gave me a discount for being flexible and working on his timeline. The next time, I had a very small but urgent job (basically, cut two small branches off a tree) and called him for advice. He came by once to take a look and offered to saw it off himself. Unfortunately, the saw I owned wasn't up to the job and he came back a few days later with his own saw. Sad to see our very tall liquid amber go, but was so impressed by Lopez Tree Service. The crew arrived first thing in the morning, and were finished by 11:00 AM. Not only did they carefully take down my large liquid amber tree, the also removed the stump, leveled the ground, and cleaned the entire area of wood chips. I was happy to see that they complied with all the necessary safety regulations, including head, eye and ear protection. We've been relying on Arturo to take care of our trees for years. He's trimmed ficus trees along our fence, he's trimmed palm trees, pine trees, our giant walnut tree, our liquid amber, our mock orange, and last week he removed our huge Pink Dombeya tree because it had died. We've been in the house for 10 years, and the tree was well established when we bought it, so it was a really big job. Arturo's guys work very hard. They are fast and do a fantastic job cleaning everything up when they're done. When they were removing the Dombeya, and I went out to see how they were going about it. Arturo had climbed up the trunk with a chain saw and was cutting the big limbs down himself. I recently hired Lopez Tree Service for a major tree cutting/pruning job in my back yard. In a nut shell, I was very pleased with the overall service they provided. We just had a great experience with Lopez Tree Service this week. We lost a major branch off a 100 year old large pine and were worried the tree was doomed. An arborist helped us figure out how to save the tree and then we hired Arturo. He and his crew took off a bunch of weight off the tree, pulled back the branches about 10 feet, and cleaned up the tree in general.
