Great service and quality! I needed a fairly large job done immediately and Lopez Tree service completely accommodated my schedule to come to my house and give me a free estimate. I had received other quotes, and Lopez was able to work with me to come to a good price that was comparable. I needed a large oak tree down in the front, and three other smaller trees down as well. Alvaro, the owner, was in constant contact with me and came back to check on the stump grinding after he checked his other jobs. I needed all the work done immediately and he shifted his schedule to fit me in. I called Friday and the job was done on Monday with great respect to my property and neighbors' properties. He came to see the work asked at our residence even tho it was a Sunday; I must note, other companies in the neighborhood declined. Mr. Lopez explained the whole procedure and provided excellent advice, explaining that he would come with his crew of 5-6 people along with a crane. The crane was an essential part of my decision-making to eliminate heavy branches falling close to the house, resulting in damage to our home/property. Within hours, I received his estimate along with all the necessary company documentation. His quote was by far the best after receiving several estimates. Great job taking down a 40 ft. pine tree.

I requested a visit to assess the risk of a rapidly expanding hole in center of large tree on property in central Arlington Virginia. Alvaro agreed with my concerns and that the problem should be addressed. The tree was a large tree with a 4 foot trunk rising to about 15 feet up where it branched off into about a half dozen branches each would be a fair sized tree of its own. This was located in backyard about 30 feet from front yard down about 10 feet of slope and with an area of less than 12 feet wide to work with. The initial quote considered a moderate approach of removing the upper tree branches and leaving the trunk alone, but this would require substantial equipment and manpower that could easily also remove the rest of the trunk. I also explained the challenge of the narrow road in front with a lot of commuter parking on the street and we agreed to have all material hauled away. They arrived promptly at scheduled time. They had to revise their plans due to the locations of parked cars. They laid a temporary road using 3/4 inch plywood for the crane to operate in the small front yard (total size about 20 feet from sidewalk to house and about 30 feet usable space between property lines). The work was performed very orderly exhibiting both individual skills of each worker as well as coordination within the team allowing them to do their respective tasks concurrently safely without interfering with each other. While the work progressed I did not see any reason to worry about any harm to the workers or to my or my neighbor's properties, and these were very big concerns before the project started. The tree was fully removed and all material hauled away within 7 hours. I recommend Alvaro's company for even the most challenging jobs. Alvaro and his team are the best by far! They came all the way to Gaithersburg, MD to bid and complete our job. They cut 10 trees and left the wood cut to 16" logs stacked beautifully for me to spilt later. The property was tidier after they finished than before they started. They worked like precision surgeons cutting and lowering limbs of large trees to protect the yard and plants below. They had a team of about 10 people. They finished the job in one day! HIGHLY recommend Albaro Lopez of Lopez Tree and Landscaping services. We had 6 large pines removed this am that were in the back yard on the top of a steep hill right at the fence line. They brought in a crane to set up at 7:35am and multiple work trucks arrived by 8:00 and they were finished including all clean up/chipping and removal by 10:30. Absolutely perfect work! Had a small tree (about 15 ft) that I wanted taken out and then a dozen limbs taken off of a very tall tree. I found Lopez Tree Service on yelp and based on the good reviews I invited them over to give me an estimate. Alberto arrived the next morning right on time and we talked about what I wanted. He offered me a terrific price and, as his crew was close by on another job and didn't have anything lined up for the afternoon, same day service! I agreed on the spot. A few hours later Alberto and his crew arrived (and I always like it when the guy you make the deal with shows up with the crew) and got right to work. They had the small tree cut down to the stump and put through the chipper in ten minutes flat! I was amazed! Then they ran up the ropes on my tall tree, the one guy put on his climbing gear, and they got to work on the pruning. I just pointed to the branches I wanted cut down and he cut them and lowered them down on ropes. I got exactly what I wanted. But in addition to the excellent price, service, and top quality job, I was super impressed with the cleanup! They did a truly five-star job policing up all brush, leaves, and sticks, shoveling it into the truck, and then going over everything with blowers.
