In fact, they had multiple team members reach out to myself and my neighbor, whom we did a project together (tree removal). The project walk-through was excellent and the quote came the same day. I liked when the customer representative walked through with me, asked if I was a veteran (and I am), and provided me a veteran discount. The quote was obviously the best, as we went with them, but even if another vendor came in at the same price, I would probably go with JL Tree bc of their responsiveness. I had one vendor who didn't call me back for over 30 days! The day of the project was excellent. The foreman and I walked through the project (three tree removals). I messaged Mike through Yelp around 4:30pm on a Monday, heard back in about five minutes, sent him some photos, and had a full quote 30 minutes later. He also was coming out the next day to remove it. I couldn't believe my luck- especially because the quote was far more reasonable than any of the others I had received. Mike arrived when I was away from the home- all he asked was that I leave a parking spot open for him for his machinery. When I returned home, about two hours after his planned start time, the tree was gone, all remnants of it were completely gone, the sidewalk was completely swept and clean, and the mulch in my front yard had been raked around to incorporate the resulting sawdust, leaving me with a very simple finishing solution; I drove right past my house, went to the local nursery, bought a new plant and a bag of mulch and... Our Community needed to address some very large trees at the rear of our property. There is no real…read moreeasy access due to location. We collected (4) quotes and were given different options from each one. Out of the (4) Heart of Wood came in with the overall best price and the best options. I met with Thomas and immediately knew I was working with someone that knew what they were doing. He looked over the trees and recommended we remove (2) and just trim one up. He was straight forward on our options. He provided several based on what we wanted to spend on the project. His company offered tree removing with no heavy equipment and no disturbance to the property which was exactly what we were looking for this in this project. Thomas had his crew on-site within a week after we made our decision (even with the Thanksgiving holiday). His Crew was amazing, if not for the sounds of chain-saws I would not have even known they were cutting down huge trees with branches extending everywhere.
