When evaluating my trees, they clearly explained which ones needed deadwood removal and which ones were fine at the time. They also had to remove one tree from my front yard, and they took the time to explain in detail why removal was necessary. I recently worked with Rodney, and he was great about discussing the details of the job and explaining his recommendations. He is obviously very knowledgeable about trees and clearly cares deeply about his work. I especially appreciated that he was there with the crew on the day they removed the deadwood and walked me through what they were doing. Of all the companies I contacted, Green Vista also seemed to have the most appropriate equipment for the job. Several other companies weren't confident they could get their lift into my backyard. Green Vista was able to do it, and they laid down appropriate tracking and ground protection to make sure there was no damage to my lawn. In one case, I found two dead branches that weren't visible from my side of the property. Rodney and the team came back quickly and took care of them, which I really appreciated. I messaged Mike through Yelp around 4:30pm on a Monday, heard back in about five minutes, sent him some photos, and had a full quote 30 minutes later. He also was coming out the next day to remove it. I couldn't believe my luck- especially because the quote was far more reasonable than any of the others I had received. Mike arrived when I was away from the home- all he asked was that I leave a parking spot open for him for his machinery. When I returned home, about two hours after his planned start time, the tree was gone, all remnants of it were completely gone, the sidewalk was completely swept and clean, and the mulch in my front yard had been raked around to incorporate the resulting sawdust, leaving me with a very simple finishing solution; I drove right past my house, went to the local nursery, bought a new plant and a bag of mulch and... I met with Thomas and immediately knew I was working with someone that knew what they were doing. He looked over the trees and recommended we remove (2) and just trim one up. Then Jose Luis called within 30 minutes to schedule a time to provide an estimate. He said that Paul, the operations guy, was actually in DC and could do the job in the afternoon if everything worked out. Paul stopped by and while we all agreed on the price, he couldn't do the work because being in DC we had to ask our neighbors to move their cars. Then the next day, Saturday morning at 9 AM Paul and his partner were at the house. Their machine is like Tesla's Model X of grinders. In 1.5 hours, they got rid of a tree stump that had a circumference of 81 inches. Additionally, Jose Luis stopped by to see how everything was going. I also appreciated Paul's concern for the environment, as we talked about options for replacing the tree that was originally there. Highly recommend them. they are professional, responsive, and environmentally conscious.
