This place is amazing and the staff is so sweet. They stayed open later than closing to allow us to sit, and when we offered to take it to go they insisted we dine in! Besides that the lemon mint drink is literally AMAZING. It tastes so authentic. We also got the sahlab and it was so good!! Highly recommend :)

The food is absolutely delicious. We visited here under the former name/owners. The updates are lovely and the service was so welcoming. All good improvements. The mint lemonade was so refreshing. I got tabbouleh and chicken with hummus. My husband got the mixed grill with rice. Everything was juicy and fresh.

Is this a full serving? This is what we were served for a few full bowls of soup.

Wish they wouldn't screw people over by giving them a half bowl of a full order soup. Instead of telling us they ran out they screwed us out of a takeout order. Leaving us with all half full soups instead of refunding us of the $80 they tried to hide it

Omg! The food was amazing and affordable! As someone who has lived in Dearborn, MI and familiar with the cuisine I was very impressed! The humus was divine. The atmosphere is very relaxed, clean with lots of open space. I was able to work on a Sunday afternoon and have a nutritious dinner! I will be back with the family!

Terrible food, mid service. Good was not good and did not taste fresh. Service was slow for no reason. We were the only people there.

I don't like to be overly checked on when trying to enjoy date night with the hubby and it seemed like she knew when to come and when to let us have our moment. I loved that. The food was amazing 10/10, would definitely recommend. Started off with appetizers of oysters and chicken egg rolls, and the entree of lamb chops did us in. Everything was on point, from the time we entered until we left. Will definitely be going back. And I have added this to my favorite spots.

Super attentive without hovering, gave spot-on recommendations, and was playful, funny, and genuinely kind. You can tell she loves meeting people, and it made the whole table feel celebrated. Food was way better than I expected for a hookah lounge. Get the oysters - fresh and perfect - and the pesto garlic bread is a must. Seriously addictive. And the hookah? SLAPS. Smooth, flavorful, and they keep it going without you having to ask. The ambiance is very Atlanta in the best way: flowery walls for photos, eclectic cozy seating, great music, dim lighting, total vibe. We stayed way longer than planned because we didn't want to leave. Already planning my return. If you're in Sandy Springs, book a table here!

Walked in, lights low in the best way, and the DJ was straight up locked in. Music was to the point, no filler, no random stuff that kills the mood, just the right tracks at the right time. You could actually feel the room moving with it. That's the difference between somewhere that plays music and somewhere that knows how to set a vibe. Here's the part that won me over though: the kitchen stays open late. Like actually late. Everywhere else around here is shutting the kitchen down by 10, so if you're a night person you're usually stuck with nothing. Being able to get real, hot food well past that? Super refreshing, and honestly kind of rare. Go in hungry, it's worth it. Hookah was smooth too, clean pulls all night and the flavor held up the whole time. And the staff were friendly and on it, checked on us without hovering. You can tell they actually want you to have a good night. If you're out in Alpharetta and want somewhere to chill late that still has real energy and a kitchen that doesn't quit at 10, this is the move. DJ, hookah, late-night food, all of it hit. Easy five stars, we'll be back.

I have been coming to Charcoal N Chill for over three years, including before the current…read moremanagement took over. Over that time, I've had many great experiences here and have recommended the place to numerous friends and family members. Unfortunately, my most recent experience left me disappointed. A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to attend a Friday evening event. I arrived as I normally would, only to discover there was a cover charge and a bouncer at the entrance. The cover charge itself was not the issue. What bothered me was how I was treated. During the interaction, the bouncer physically pushed me away from the entrance. I found that completely unnecessary and disrespectful. As a result, I asked to speak with the owner or someone from management because I did not feel comfortable discussing the situation with the bouncer, especially given how I had been treated. To my surprise, I was told that the owners had asked me to Zelle the cover charge. To be clear, I was never asking for a discount, exemption, or special treatment. I was simply trying to address the way I had been treated at the door and have a conversation with management. Over the years, I have spent a considerable amount of time and money at this establishment and have actively supported it by bringing many guests. I never expected preferential treatment because of that. What I do expect, however, is to be treated with basic respect and dignity. This review is not about the food, hookah, ambiance, or service inside the lounge, all of which I have genuinely enjoyed for years. It is about a customer experience and the choices made by management in handling that situation. A long-time customer who has consistently supported the business should not be made to feel dismissed or disrespected. I thought about this for more than ten days before posting because I genuinely enjoyed this place and did not want to leave a negative review. However, the experience stayed with me. Since then, I have stayed away despite having been a regular visitor. I sincerely hope management takes feedback like this seriously. Respect costs nothing, and it is often what customers remember most.

I did come in with some food & a bottle so not sure if that was part of the charge. It did not take away from the experience itself.
