By now, those who follow my reviews know I'm all about supporting local businesses, especially in…read moremy hometown. Well, this place is about as local as they come. Because this business is literally out of someone's personal garage. When you first pull up, you'll notice you're in a rural neighborhood. So, if you pull up to a beige, double garaged house, then you're in the right place. It will be on the left side of the road as you approach, btw. I had pulled up to the wrong house at first, but luckily had enough sense to call and check with the owner. Imagine how much of a right t**t I would have felt like waltzing up to some random person's house requesting a tint removal. I gotta say....as popular as this guy's work apparently is, he is severely underrated here on Yelp. What I mean is, I expected there'd be more of a buzz in the number of reviews for this place. That's okay, though. I'm all about contributing to the publicizing of a trustworthy, competent local business. So, I came in for just a tint removal. "Why just a removal and not an installation?", you might be asking. Well, you see....NH has this bizarre law in effect that dictates you cannot have any tint on your front windows. Like, at all. Nada. Nein. Zero. Zilch. I'm not gonna get into why that law exists here. You can Google it, if you wish. Regardless of my vehement contempt for this rather unnecessary law which has NOTHING to do with safety, I'd rather remain compliant than possibly get pulled over for not having passed an inspection. Yeah, that's the thing. The reason I needed this done was because most (if not all) auto shop's will straight up refuse to inspect your car if there's tint on the front windows. Anywho, this guy, Jamal, has quite the comprehensive setup. And before you ask, yes....he accepts electronic payments, despite it being out of his house. He's got the pay square. Just don't write the man a personal check and you'll be alright. The most relieving part was that I was in and out in less than 45 minutes or so. Some places will actually ask you to drop your car off for the day. JUST for tint removal. But, I mean...tint removal should only take about 45 minutes for two windows anyway. It's a simple process of applying intense heat, a scraper, and some fancy solution to clean the remaining gunk off the windows. That's about it. Plus, the whole thing ended up costing me $60 even. That's $30 per window, FYI. It's also nice to meet an owner who is friendly and approachable. He'll chat with you a bit as he's performing his work. I recently went to a different shop, attempting to get similar work done and....let's just say I was not welcomed with as much hospitable fashion. So, I took my business elsewhere. As my grandmother always used to tell me, "manners will take you where money won't". I'm grateful this guy is doing what he's doing. He's providing a much needed service for a reasonable price. If you're in the market for getting tint work done, I highly recommend you give Jamal a try. He's an honest guy earning an honest living; a trait that is seemingly becoming less altruistic in most other businesses of today. Sunview Glass Tinting & Signs gets 5 tint-compliant compact SUVs out of 5.

When I arrived, I again reviewed what we had discussed over text, specifically "all glass," and Xpel prime XR plus. I was reassured and confirmed. When I picked up the car, I paid more than the agreed quote but when they brought it out, I saw that only part of the glass was tinted. Instead of honoring the agreement, they offered to add two smaller pieces as a workaround, but I had made it clear from the start that I wanted one-piece tint. They could not deliver what was originally promised, despite multiple confirmations. I asked for a refund, I was denied and forced to reschedule for a later date to fix their mistake. To make things worse, when I got home, I tested the tint with a meter and discovered they did not use Xpel Prime XR plus film as agreed. If Xpel ceramics was used the IRR should show close to around 97% but Instead shows a much lower quality, they bait-and-switched me with a cheaper non ceramic film to maximize their profit. Also the more I look at the windows the more imperfections and bad cuts I find. This was misleading, unprofessional, and dishonest.

The thing about getting a car wrap is...it's a bit like getting your windows tinted. You want the…read morereassurance that you're in the care of an expert who will apply the media without having the end result resemble that of bubble packaging. More over, you want the confidence you're receiving the highest quality product possible. In light of those traits, Travis delivers on all fronts. Once comprised of a whole team, Travis is currently the sole vendor for Monkey Wraps. How I discovered him was....a long time in the making, actually. See, the quest for upgraded auto-aesthetics originally started way back in 2023. At the time, I was looking to do a total wrap. The price was more than fair for what I was seeking, but it would take some doing saving up the amount needed. So, I sat on the idea for a few years. And then I got an epiphany...from ChatGPT of all places. After some deliberating and image rendering with the bot, I thought to myself, "Self, what if, instead of getting a total wrap, we got highlights? It'd be both cheaper AND quicker." And so it was. With a few adjustments to the shade of green I wanted, I settled on a Gloss Green Envy; which proved to be absolutely perfect for highlight colors. Had it been a total wrap, I'd have gone with more of a dark forest green. But, I digress. In any case, I couldn't really justify putting a total wrap into a depreciating asset. Clearly, this was the better choice. I didn't come up with the idea of applying color to the base rockers until after the first set of media had been ordered (I'm so dumb sometimes). But, no matter. Each job, having been done on two separate visits, took approximately a day with overnight curing. And for those who were curious, a total wrap would have taken 5-7 days. So, yeah...this was better. It took me a while to finally write this review because I needed to bide out the 2 week recommended waiting time for curing to complete before washing my car so that I could take pictures. Needless to say, it was worth the wait. All in all, not a bad way to spend $1.3k if I do say so myself. It was certainly worth the 45 minute drive. And for those wondering why I didn't just go someplace closer like Lifesize Wraps in Manch Vegas, it's mainly due to 3 things.. 1.) They only had like 2 reviews at the time of this one. Whereas Travis' portfolio is immaculate and massive! 2.) I honestly didn't know they existed till after already booking with MW. 3.) I kept thinking about that original quote I got from him years ago. I guess it all just boils down to loyalty. Yeah, the place is hard as $#!@ to find the first time. But there are MW signs pointing you the direction to go if you know to look for them. You'll know you're in the right place once you reach a warehouse looking building with the #11 above and you're standing before a door with an 8 on it. There's even a Ring doorbell so you can communicate with Travis if he's not physically there. He accepts contactless digital payment (of course) and typically requires an initial deposit to get started; usually in the ballpark of $100 or so. Honestly, I can't say enough great things about Travis and his amazing talents! So, I'm just gonna wrap this up here (get it? XD) and give Monkey Wraps 5 shiny new Bimmers with Glossy Green highlights beaming down the highway out of 5.
