The pizza we created: onions, peppers and pineapples. A different version of Hawaiian pizza. Sans ham.

We ordered a medium pizza and put toppings on it. The sauce is amazing and the crust is delicious. The toppings are fresh. It reminds me of NYC. I can't wait to try other things on the menu. They do uber eats. Definitely call them and find out more information about your favorite items on the menu.

First off, let me start off by saying pizza is my favorite meal ever!! I was so excited to try a new pizza place next to my new place. Let me tell you I was absolutely dissatisfied/ disappointed in Lorenzos pizza. On the menu there is the option of garlic knots, now you would expect garlic knots. Not the case at all. What I received looked more to me like Texas toast, with nearly no garlic at all!! Tasted like your plain ole piece of toast no flavor really at all, very disappointing. Now for the pizza, I'm sorry but it seriously looked like a Chuckie cheese pizza. The cheese tasted of rubber and even felt like it, the pizza was as thin as a slice of paper and not to mention the sauce did not have any flavor. I wish I had better things to say but for my first experience I definitely will not be ordering here again. :-(

not so much knots as rolls... still tasty!

came in after lolly gagging around north lauderdale with MLB most of saturday, we weren't feeling too adventurous so just out for pizza and garlics nearby. pulled up on a small store front joint with a half dozen tables plus some amusements down one wall. was just the two of us and heading back home tomorrow so we got the medium meat lovers plus "knots" and a couple beverages to stay. was told it would be twenty minutes, might have actually been closer to fifteen, not sure because I was distracted making small talk and goo-goo eyes with the cutest of chicks. pizza was new yorkie but in a good way, thin foldable crust under a bunch of meats, some cheeses, and a bit of the red. barely greasy despite the toppings which got dangerously close to the edge. garlic knots were a bit off though; plenty tasty and topped with cheese sprinkles but definitely not knots, rather they were wound up like cinnamon rolls except garlicy. also, I prefer my marinara warmed - maybe it's a cultural thing? but yeah, if I'm near here I'd stop here.

Build Your Own Stromboli - small sausage

I found them via Groupon which was for a large cheese pizza so I figured I'd give them a try. When I called the place an order for pick up the man who answered just said 'Hello' so I had to confirm it was Lorenzo's which seemed odd to me but I chalked it up to maybe being busy or someone not used to phone orders. I added mushrooms and green peppers for an upcharge, got garlic knots, a small sausage Stromboli and cannoli- ready quickly in 20 min of calling in so that was nice. The garlic knots had been bread in a previous review here on yelp so I wanted to see if they had become real knots- they are six small rolls doused in oil that smelled like garlic but sadly they were very tough and bland :( The pizza was fine - as mentioned by other reviews the cheese is really solid- not melty at all I expect this is a low moisture mozzarella which isn't bad but it's kind of lack luster. The sauce isn't stand out but the veggies nicely still had a bit of crunch to them so that was nice! The stromboli and cannoli were both good- the stromboli I got sausage wondering if it would be crumbles or what - turned out to be the flat cuts which were super flavorful. The dough they use for the strombli is more soft/fluffy bread type than I'm used to on stomboli, there wasn't a crunchy baked top but that was fine- there was a bit too much oil involved though and it saturated the bottom of the whole thing making it really greasy and flat but the taste was still okay. The cannoli came as three mini cannoli and they were standard, the filling was smooth and the pastry was crisp. Depending on your pizza preferences this could be your favorite type of pizza but for folks who are used to a sauce that wows or herbs cheese blends that stretch when you pick up a slice that's not qhat you'll find here. I'd give the stromboli another chance to see if the oil amount gets reduced and I'd try a calzone to see how they make them.

First time and last time trying this place . We sat in the parking lot waiting , it wasn't event 16 minutes. The pizza was hot and ok , the chicken parm was room tem but meh. The cheese sticks ??? Look crazy, the dough looked raw . They were the worst mozzarella sticks I've ever had . .

Very yummy. The guy at the front has a great physique. Inside is sketchy but food is worth it.

    Lorenzo's games and food

Good place, fairly clean, plenty of parking and decent customer service. Kids like the games and food. I would recommend this place is you like a low key place to have a beer while kids play free games!!!

A little whole in the wall, place is clean, family and pocket friendly. New York Style Pizza with mushrooms and ham. The pizza is the perfect thickness, THIN and the crust is just crispy enough Perfection. When you bite into the pizza and pull it away, the cheese stretches and the red sauce taste like a good homemade sauce, low acidity.

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time but was always there during lunch, and…read moreDoughfellas is only open from 5pm to 9:30 pm. Finally, I hit the jackpot and was able to drop in. And jackpot it was. The Atmosphere: The outside looks like a place that's been closed for years but, don't let the outside fool you, this place is for real! The inside is also the bare minimum with two large (3-4 people) and three small (2 people) tables, counter service and a small accoutrement table. Bare minimum would be the words that come to mind. The Service: Although, as I previously mentioned, the only service is counter service, the service was five star. The young man was informative and, with the multitude of toppings, extremely helpful. Our orders came quickly in about 10 minutes. The Food: The sign says sour dough pizza which I've never had but, why not. And so, we ordered three small 14" pizzas; one Margarita pizza, one Calabresa pizza and one Spinach and Goat Cheese pizza. All were fantastic! Super toppings, great crust (my lovely bride never eats the crust and she not only ate hers but tried, unsuccessfully I might add, to finish off mine), everything totally fresh! The only issue... there wasn't enough goat cheese on the Spinach and Goat Cheese pizza. We let the staff know about the issue and it was rectified immediately! The Bottom Line: As with all my reviews, my bottom line or "customer so what" is would I come back? The answer is an emphatic yes! You'll enjoy one of the best pizzas around.

Service 10/10…read more Service was amazing. We traveled here from Louisville, Kentucky for vacation. When we arrived they explained their menu to us. Going in the first thing I noticed was how amazing the smell of the pizza was. The staff were friendly and helpful in explaining the choices. Food - 10/10 My partner and I ordered a half and half Pizza. He's basic and just got cheese, while I guess I'm extra and got the Calabresa. It has the best and freshest ingredients by far on any pizza I've ever had. The sausage was so good and you could tell the pizza was made tender love and care. This pizza to me is smack your mama level of pizza! My partners only complaint was that a little of my ingredients got on his side of the pizza. (More on this below.) Allergy - 10/10 The staff was considerate of my food allergies and friendly. I'm not sure if they have gluten free options as I don't have this allergy but I'm sure if you call a head they can answer any questions you may have. Environment / Ambiance - 10/10 The place is cute, comfortable, quant, and cozy. We didn't feel cramped and there was a steady stream of customers throughout our time there. Restrooms - There didn't appear to be any restrooms / we also didn't ask. I would say make sure you use the restroom before you go or order it for pickup and take it home with you. This is probably my biggest gripe. Being out of town not sure how common this is. Sensory - 10/10 Sight - the light level was well lit and not overwhelming. Clean and not overwhelming with lots of unnecessary items. Smell - clean and fermented pizza smell. Touch - the chairs were comfortable with some cloth fabrics. Sound - below Noise Level - 10/10 Place doesn't have any music playing which is what I prefer. I don't like to not be able to have conversation with others. LGBTQ+ Rating - 8/10 Me and my partner didn't receive any stares or any harassment or feel uncomfortable. No support signage visible. Would Be Back / Would Recommend - we ended up going back the next day. My partner and his mom ended up getting a cheese by themselves and I got the same as I got before. I do which they had smaller / individual size options. I would highly highly recommend this place to others as it was the best pizza I've had by far in my entire life (40 years). With kid's portion penne Alfredo (I wanted to try their pasta), avocado salad, and calamari appetizer. Both pizzas were very good, I strongly recommend it to everyone. Their pasta is also good, even for the kid's menu the portion was generous and the price fair. The only thing I don't really recommend is the avocado salad. Yes we were a party of three so we finished most of the salad but the flavor just wasn't there and the texture was off for me too. The avocado is mushy and discolored, and I personally prefer the sliced or diced avocados for avocado salad. The parking is limited so get there early or on a slower day. I think I would recommend this place to others and be back again in the future.

We walk over, sit down and ask what the lunch specials are and the waitress says they don't have any. When we told her we had called she said well the only special is the personal 8" pizza with up to 3 toppings. Then she says there is a lunch size house or cesar salad. There are no lunch prices listed anywhere. When we ask her for the prices, she has to look it up on her handheld ordering machine. She says the salads are $7.95 and the pizzas are $8.95 with up to 3 toppings. We each order a lunch salad and a personal pizza with up to 3 toppings. Salad was a good size. Pizza was OK. Very thin and very light on toppings. When we get the bill, it is higher than we thought. But my husband pays. I look at the itemized receipt and see that we were charged $1.50 per topping. I ask her about the bill and remind her she said the pizza was $8.95 with up to 3 toppings. She says, yes but the toppings are $1.50 each. I tell her she never said that and how am I supposed to know. And if I am paying for the toppings, why would you limit me to 3? It doesn't make sense. She said she was sorry but didn't offer anything to make it right. I shook my head, laughed and walked out. Total bait and switch. Never going there again.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and many of them speak Italian, which added to the authentic feel of the restaurant. The restaurant itself is super cute and cozy, and one of the biggest surprises was the price. It's actually affordable, especially for Fort Lauderdale!
