As she was setting up, she was graciously answering the kids' answers and making balloons. But I went ahead and scheduled the show with lori after reading all the reviews. I must say she was absolutely amazing, so much fun and all the kids loved her. Being a parent, I am usually not that impressed with magic shows. But I loved her magic show - she kept the kids engaged, excited and I really liked the way she executed. Lori came to my son's 7th birthday. The party was held in a neighborhood park and the kids, numbering around 15-16, were mostly boys his age. She is warm, funny and able to engage the kids. Also, she is very accommodating wth changing plans. The celebration was initially planned for a Friday evening, but my son got sick and I had to cancel. I then pushed it to Monday noon as it was a long weekend. She had family appointments, but reassured me that she'll try to see if she can still join us for a shorter period. Unfortunately, the evening before the party, I received a call from Lori informing me that she had slipped and twisted her wrist. I hired both a balloon twister (owner Lori herself) and a face painter from Bay Area Entertainment Network for a large family picnic for my 20-year high school reunion. What a success!! The kids absolutely loved both of them, and lined up repeatedly (and waited patiently in line!).
