We hired Marshall for our twins' (boy/girl) fifth birthday party this weekend. He was timely (came about 30 minutes early to set up), was super flexible when our guests were late, entertained all the kids and adults - we all laughed a lot! The kids (ages 4 and 5) shrieked with laughter quite often. We loved how Marshall got all the kids involved, and was very patient with one of my twins who was hesitant at first to go up, but eventually got him up there because Marshall was just so fun! Marshall made my daughter's 6th birthday very special. Professional: Marshall showed up 45 minutes early and was very nice. He was also always quick at responding to any messages and questions. About a week before the party, he also messaged me a reminder before hand to confirm the party. Quality: Marshall had great showmanship. We had 37 kids and 30 adults there and he managed to keep their attention for 45 minutes and make everyone laugh. His tricks were age appropriate, and he had my son and daughter cracking up with some of the funny tricks he had. (They loved the one with the bees and rabbit the most). The adults were pretty entertained too. He also had a sound system that didn't need to be plugged in which was great since we were outside. I definitely appreciated how he tried to include as much of the audience as he could and let the kids check and hold his props. Overall: He made my daughter's birthday party very special. I absolutely have to leave a comment for Marshall. Originally our party was scheduled for Feb 4th but we were all under the weather so I had to reschedule. Marshall was extremely flexible with my schedule and time. He checked in to confirm and arrived 40 early to allow time to setup. The birthday was for my 10yr old and we had a wide age range of kids. Marshall's performance kept ALL the kids engaged the entire time! The adults were also entertained and got a good laugh. Any time I had a question or sent him an email, he'd respond right away. On the day of the event, he showed up 30 min earlier to set up. Once we got the show started, we were all mind-blown! For my son's Harry Potter themed party, we wanted an illusionist who could really wow the kids as we had a lot of kids coming. Marshall was fantastic. In terms of pre-event communication, he responded to my inquiries in a timely and professional manner, and arrived to the party to set up early. Marshall was super accommodating as, due to torrential rains and scheduling issues, we needed him to perform on a stage in a school auditorium instead of a classroom, and, he agreed to start about 15 minutes early to keep the party moving. Despite these somewhat frenetic conditions, Marshall handled the situation brilliantly, and the kids (ages 5-9) and parents were quite entertained--laughing, puzzled, amazed.
