I did a quick search and this place popped up so we decided to check it out. I am so glad we did! We had our two dogs with us, so we sat outside. David was extremely friendly and knew his beers! We sat outside and had a few different beers each and chatted with him and his wife Cathy for a few hours. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you are in town! Deceptively roomy inside given the view from the street. Fantastic service, could have sat there all day. An absolute must for anyone visiting the area looking for a cozy, upscale retreat. A great spot along the waterfront. Owner really enjoys the craft beer world and it shows. Will definitely return on our next trip.

Our server was Boo and she had a delightfully bubbly personality, letting us know the specials and local origins of the food. We ordered Coke no ice, ginger ale no ice, cajun fries no bacon, well-done Swamp Burger, buffalo chicken bites, and a mahi mahi fish basket. My husband decided to use their restroom, which interestingly enough, are located outside around the corner of the building. I'm guessing this was done so the chefs in the cooking area (in the food truck) could use them easily. Our drinks arrived in minutes and appetizer (cajun fries) arrived around 10 minutes later. The rest of the food was brought out about 10 more minutes after that. The entire order was correct and made very well. Cajun fries were crispy with gooey cheese sauce and cajun spices. Fish basket was tasty and not fishy at all (yay!). My husband said his burger was good and not oily. All in all, cost was about $95 with a generous tip. We would come back for another date here, hopefully with Boo as our server again :)

There were parachuted to watch drop from the sky, so we were in no hurry. The owner has always been smiling & willing to help out a weary traveler. I Rarely pass thru Palatka without stopping in for at least one drink. If you don't do anything but pop in to see the hand painted walls... and these aren't murals folks, they're meticulously hand painted bamboo walls... really cool. Stop in to see those and make sure you visit the restrooms... have a beer while you're there. And if you're travelling with Fido, bring him in too (around back, of course).

My family and I dined in this small pizzeria. A pizza was order which was fairly descent, my husband got a sub which he did enjoy and I ate cheese bread and tried their cheese bacon fries. The cheese bacon fries beyond sucked, from cheese seeming like it was nuked in the microwave and the precooked bacon till tasting and looking more on the uncooked side. Well besides the food this joint had the worst service I had ever encounter at any restaurant. Took the server 10 minutes to take our drink order then another 15 before finally taking our food order. Now if the restaurant had been busy I wouldn't be upset by this point however there was ONLY two other tables in the whole place. After our food arrived and we started to eat, the server walked by asked if we were okay, my husband was asking her for another beer, she ignored him, he had to yell at her to get her attention to get another beer, I also had to request another refill. (this should never happen!) finally finished dinner and sat for probably 15 minutes before finally requesting a box to box up our left over pizza.(this should NEVER happen!) well we also asked for our bill(this should NEVER happen!) my sister had a $2 off coupon if ordering a large pizza, which we did. The bill was asked to be split between two card, and shown the coupon for the $2 off. The bill was returned and the cards were still charged the FULL amount, now mind you $2 isn't a great deal to get upset about however the reaction the rude server is what upsets me and for the reason I'm writing this review. When asked she replied 'well I hit the button' and ran off, we waited at the table for 20 minutes without return to correct our bill. Finally we just signed the credit card slip and started to walk out and she tried to come back to correct the issue she didn't do in the first place. Food is okay but I soley wouldn't try this place out due the horrible service my family I received. Worst I have ever encountered and my family which is local to the area said the owner was inside while we were dining. So it's pretty shitty when the owner is there and the service given the waitressing staff is that bad. read more
