This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Utah. They have the best street tacos in the county, and they are loaded! One taco has enough meat in it to make three regular tacos anywhere else. I have never been disappointed by any of their menu items. read more

As far as a good meal for a good price, there aren't many restaurants in Utah that can compare with Los 2 Potrillos. I've ordered more than 10 dishes here and they are all very good quality. The chef used to run a restaurant in California and he keeps up with his connections to bring in good quality seafood. The food is never greasy and bursting with flavor. The portions are very generous, and they don't compromise on quality. The only people I've met that don't love this place are people that care more about ambience than what they eat. Was craving seafood and stumbled upon this restaurant while browsing Yelp, decided to give it a try since the help reviews were pretty great. The food was great, I ordered some ceviche, which was amazing and my boyfriend ordered the shrimp and octopus cocktail which we both enjoyed as well. The only downside was that the service was very slow. Maybe they were under staffed? Overall, food was great except for their service. Would definitely recommend if you have patience. read more

We really liked this place! It is an older building, but there is plenty of seating. The server was pleasant and attentive. Best was the food! Lunch prices were reasonable $8-$9. Pro: LOVE the Shrimp Diablo. It's so hot yet flavor packed that my lips go numb for an hour and a half after I eat it. Amazing stuff if you can handle the heat. Con: Their chips always taste over-cooked and under salted to me, and the place is old and in need of repair. Plus the decorations--neon yellow walls and food posters on the outside--are tacky. The TV constantly blasting Futbol games is also a tad distracting. But if you want authentic Mexican seafood in Utah? This is the place. read more

Whenever I am craving Mexican, this is my go to. Chips and Salsa are divine. Chips are perfect crispness. Salsa is zesty and fresh. We normally go for the California Burrito (steak, potatoe, guacamole) which is HUGE. We can easily split it. Service is good. Very popular place for locals. This is the my favorite place for Mexican not only in Spanish Fork but for Utah County. Great prices, and the food is even better, be sure to try the tostada de ceviche, the suisa enchiladas and my personal favorite the chicken Chimichunga. This used to be my wives and my favorite place we would drive all the way from Northern Utah county down to Spanish Fork. The last 2 times have been very disappointing, food not cook the same and very very small portions compared to the past (is rice really that expensive your so skimpy on it?) This restaurant was recommended to me by a local. I love to try mom and pop shops as you can usually find the most authentic food that way. This was no exception. The best Mexican food I have had in a long time. Great taste and great price. I loved the waitress. She was so sweet and went above and beyond. We normally would rate this place 5 stars and always tell everyone about our favorite place in Spanish Fork. We have been going here for several years now driving from Orem.My Wife always orders the #35 which is enough for two! She don't like beans and loves rice so she also gets double rice instead of beans. This time we went for our anniversary and boy were we disappointed this time. Her dish this time was a lot smaller and the double rice no beans was so small we had to order a side dish of rice.The chips this time were not the same they looked like they came from costco or somewhere, where before they seemed like they made them. Also this time they only gave us one dish of chips when we usually get two so we had nothing to munch on waiting for our food to come,cause they are usually slow but the food has been worth the wait. It looked like they had all new staff including the cook. So I don't know if that was the reason for smaller portions but I hope they go back to what we were used to -including the homemade chips! read more

We had the pleasure of having a late lunch at Los 2 Potrillos on February 27, 2016. Our meals were absolutely excellent, authentic and the service was great! We highly recommend the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp...it was exceptional! This restaurant is a real sleeper in Spanish Fork, however we rate it as the best Mexican food that we have had in the state of Utah!
