The drive up service is awesome! Drive up, place your order, pay, they bring your stuff and you're good to go. No getting out of the car! I got tri tip, burger patties, and jalapeño sausage (delicious!) today. They are also part of the new RAD card program, so hopefully that will help bring in some more customers. read more

Holy COW, this place is amazing!!! Cannot miss it entering the town of Los Banos, and the front store is just so welcoming and cute! Love the decor and details! So much great quality meat, and I had to pick up some prime rib eyes (family favorite), oxtails, and though not their own, jalapeno cheddar sausages! I even got to score one of their super duper cute Valentines Day bags! The V-Day packages were awesome and really cost-friendly! Grilled the ribeye steak the next day, and it was melt in your mouth good! My dad's reaction - it's so fresh! Darn right! The oxtails were great for cooking soup, made the whole house smell sweet! Quality products here, fresh as can be. The employees working the store were super helpful in explaining the various meats to me as I'm pretty clueless and picking out great pieces for me. Prices are also really reasonable. Will definitely be back for some more steak in the future, and can't wait to try the jalapeno cheesy sausages! read more

Wow has this place gone down hill! I have been here numerous times when I visit my daughter who lives near by and have had great experiences. I went last week and they now take your order through your car window and come back with your meat already wrapped. I don't mind the adjustment considering Covid. What I do mind is getting ripped off! The meat was poorly cut with extra adjacent muscle , silver skin and chunks of fat which was never the case historically. Gets worse, when I got through finishing their job trimming up the meat it was lower than select grade whatever that is, dog food in my opinion. No fat and a livery taste to cuts that should be well marbled and beefy. $200 intended for my freezer thrown in the garbage. Shame on you, you stole from my family. I used to come every month or so, never again and I let my family know to steer clear. read more

Terri, Destiny,Katie at the counter are the nicest people behind any counter you'll ever come across...If you need a custom cut, Jimmy in the back will be helping you with that too. All the guests who enjoyed a dinner in my house always asked where did I get that Ribeye or Fillet and they admitted that they never had so tender and nice meat for a long long time... Every time I get in the store front I meet with all smiling friendliest faces and I leave with the best quality meat to enjoy... I have to admit that I am addicted to their Fillet Cuts, especially when I ask Jimmy to get me 2 inch thick custom cuts. Unbelievable! The prices are competitive but when you figure the cuts that you're getting they are spectacular compared to what you're getting in the grocery stores here in town! HOLY DELICIOUSNESS!!!! My husband and I always drive by and say one of these days. Well Friday I decided to go ahead and stop because I finally got tired of ordering steak at a restaurant and it being over cooked. I want my steak medium rare and decided I need to try and make one at home. I am so disappointed we waited so long!! I bought two packages of the Prime Choice Ribeye and they were the most delicious tender melt in your mouth steak! As I type this review my mouth is watering just thinking about them! Mmmmm..... Best place to get your meat from. Don't waste your time going to the Supermarket for meat. Prices are excellent for what your getting. They usually have a deal on a package of meat. When someone comes to visit, I tell them to stop by before leaving. Not open on weekends just Monday thru Friday. read more

I'm new to town originally from the Bay Area. With that being said, I've always purchase meat at big-box grocery stores. When I moved to Los Banos last year I saw the sign that said open to the public, I told myself I will make time to stop by one of these days. Well, I'm very happy that I did. It's my second time coming here now and not only was the staff very friendly and very helpful both visits, but the quality of meat was also consistent. The prices seem to be better then Save Mart, Food 4 Less etc etc in town. And the quality? Well you just got to stop by to see how awesome it is for yourself. Excellent, fresh cuts of meat harvested on site and sold the same day. The difference in freshness, taste and texture from meat sold at your local supermarket is very apparent. I am so disappointed! I happen to pull over at Abattoir to make a phone call and what I encountered was absolutely RIDICULOUS! There was a young man having lunch in his car (obviously it was his lunch time!), and the boss comes by his car and starts yelling at him telling him "GET OUT AND COME HERE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!" the young man steps out of his car and he starts yelling at him telling him he did something wrong and blah blah blah...VERY RUDE MAN!! How are you going to go and interrupt someone's lunch! Couldn't you wait for him to go inside and talk to him in a polite way?!?!?! instead of being so damn rude! I WILL be contacting OSHA regarding this!! I hope Abattoir gets rid of this man!!!! read more
