We arrived at 8:20 p.m. The sign said they closed at 9:00, so we thought we had plenty of time. As soon as we walked in, one of the female servers gave us a very unwelcoming look. I didn't understand why at first, but then we noticed that most of the chairs were already stacked on the tables and the staff was sweeping the floor. I asked if they were closed, but the man at the door said they were still open, so we were seated. Before we even had a chance to look at the menu, a server came over and told us we needed to move because they were about to mop that section. We moved without complaint. Our food came out fairly quickly, and it actually tasted good. Unfortunately, right as we started eating, they began mopping the floors with some kind of strong cleaner that made us nauseated. They mopped right by our table--my husband even joked that he was surprised they didn't ask us to lift our feet. By that point, several employees already had their coats on and were giving us looks like they just wanted us gone. We felt rushed, uncomfortable, and couldn't even finish our meal because of the chemical smell. The food itself was good, but the experience was terrible. No restaurant should start mopping floors with harsh cleaners while customers are still eating. That's just basic common sense. We won't be back. read more

This place is one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. Their prices are very affordable and the food is worth for what you pay. They do have good vegetarian options as well. Pollo Yukatan is my favorite entree at this place which comes with side salad with guac and rice along with tortillas. Their portions are of decent size. Paloma is at very reasonable menu price with great refreshing taste. The waiter was very friendly and checking on us quite frequently. The ambience is traditional and amazing. read more

Solid experience! Went with a group of girlfriends and had a great time. I really liked my pineapple boat. A fun way of presenting what's essentially a fajita. We had chips, queso, guacamole. Everyone loved their food and drinks. Place was super busy when we went so sometimes it was a little slow, but honestly we were having such a good time that we didn't mind at all. The folks that live in the area said this is their go to spot, so super glad I made it there! read more

The inside of Los Cabos seats a lot of people, but is not easy to maneuver; I would not recommend trying to eat inside if you're using a wheelchair or carrying a car seat. The decoration is colorful and inviting. The salsa was a bit too spicy for my liking/compared to other Mexican restaurants in town but I have a low tolerance for jalapeños! I ordered the chicken chimichangas and my husband had the burrito El Salvador. All the food around the table was good. I was surprised that there was red enchilada sauce mixed in with the cheese sauce on my chimichanga but it wasn't off-putting. However, if you order a chicken quesadilla off of the kids menu - we got little to no cheese and almost all of it was seasoned shredded chicken! read more

Went in this weekend to see if my last visit was just a one-off bad experience or if it was a trend. Spoiler alert: It's a trend. The staff no longer seems to care about the customer. They are interested in getting you in and out. No conversation, no friendliness, just no interest at all. The food continues to be "meh" - okay, but heading towards Taco Bell quality. And don't try to customize anything to your preference. It won't happen right. Ownership really needs to get their act together to save this place. read more

From the moment you walk in, everything is perfect. The style of the restaurant is everything you could want and more. The staff were quick to seat us and were extremely friendly. I swear they knew what we going to eat before we even ordered. It could not have been more than 5 minutes between our order and when we got the food, plus they had phenomenal chips and salsa while you wait. The food was the best part. I had the steak and cheese burrito and my partner had the carne asada. Both were an absolute 10 out of 10. Our server was prompt with the check, and this was overall a wonderful experience. We unfortunately did not have a good experience for dinner on a busy Friday night in July. My wife and I dined in and we were seated in the bar area. The restaurant was crowded. The bar area is warmer than the other main dining room. We received chips and salsa promptly. Our service after for chips and salsa was not good. We had to ask for our waiter to bring water. We ordered 2 chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and 2 gorditas Al pastor with rice and beans. We also ordered a side of queso. It took 35 minutes to receive our food. Other guests sitting at other tables around us received there food before us and ordered after us. We believe the order was never put thru system. We had to ask another waiter about our order. We received our food with an apology from our waiter. However, we never received the queso. The food was warm when we received it. The rice and beans were good. The chicken in the enchiladas was not prepared properly and was slightly chewy. One Gordita was good my wife said with a small portion of Al pastor. The other Gordita had gristle with barely any meat that was inedible. We told the waiter about the missing queso and the issue with the Gordita. We received 6.50 off our bill (one Gordita). On the bill it stated (complain) -6.50 under the Gordita portion of the bill. We appreciated the refund. No charge for queso since it was never received. This was not a good dining experience. Our experiences here in the past have been good. However, this was by far our worst experience here. We would advise everyone to not dine here on a busy weekend night because of poor service and poor food quality. read more

They give free refills for one order of horchata! And the glass for horchata was very tall. Ordered the parillada for two which was enough for both of us. I recommend it if you like trying a little of everything. It had cuts of cactus, pork, steak, chicken, and shrimp. The cactus is slightly sour and slimey, it reminds me of having a pickle on the side. They also provide free chips and salsa. The salsa had charred bits and it tasted smokey and rich. Server is very attentive, colorful plating, good portions, good vibes with friends. read more

We try to find the best place to eat Mexican in every city we travel too. I think we found it! That said, we eat a lot of Mexican food and Los Cabos was as good as it gets. They have a huge menu, so you order just about anything. I created my own platter and it was perfect. Very solid Mexican food, good price, and friendly service. A friend and I ate here on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at about 3:00. We entered the restaurant and were quickly seated. They weren't overly busy at this time, with maybe 5 or 6 other tables with diners. We received our salsa and chips quickly and our waiter took our drink order. After looking at the menu, we placed our order and enjoyed the chips and salsa. It wasn't long, and someone else other than our waiter brought our dinners, which were piping hot and quite good. Our drinks emptied, but the waiter never returned to ask if we'd like a refill on iced tea, soda or check how our meals were. We finished our meals, then waited and waited but our waiter never returned. My dining companion spotted our waiter working over in the bar area, and walked over to ask him for our bill. He brought our bill but never asked how our meal was. In conclusion, good food but piss poor service. Won't bother going back when there's a lot of other Mexican restaurants we can go to. 5 stars for food, 1 star for service. read more

The smell of grilled peppers wafted in the air as we entered this warm friendly Mexican restaurant. Authentic....no tamales here.  I ordered the 5 enchalada meal.  Chicken, beef, cheese, and bean.  Wonderful flavor and texture.  Came piping hot to our table in ten minutes.  My friend commented on her excellent entre and the fast service.  Very reasonable prices for a wide assortment of foods.  We both commented on the great dining experience as we drove off. read more

We showed up with around 25 people and no warning, 13 of us being kids under 13 and we couldn't have been treated better. Our kids asked for virgin frozen margaritas and our server made sure it was ok with us & never treated us like the pain in the butts we were to them as many large groups are (not on purpose). Me and my bf came here shortly after getting off a long flight. We were hungry and couldnt wait to try this restaurant. I ordered the Texas fajitas. It sure did not disappoint. Service was wonderful they were very friendly and accommodating. I asked for stuff , and they kindly went to get it for me even though they were all busy cleaning and getting ready to close in an hour. The steak , chicken, and shrimp was perfectly seasoned. The green and red bell pepper was also well seasoned . My dish was very awesome. I loved it. The complimentary chips and dips was amazing. I recommend this place for mexican fix. read more

Should be 2.5 stars. RUSH, RUSH, RUSH. May 28, Saturday night 7PM, not busy but everything very rushed. We were seated and had 2 minutes to choose a drink, about another 2 minutes to order. Food: eh, obviously precooked and warmed up. Steak, chicken, and pork all very dry. Very salty. Possibly MSG. This place, Blue Margaritas, and Jalapenos are all the same. As soon as we walked in I could tell I would like the setting. Upbeat music and decent seating helped set the tone. The service was attentive and the food was pretty good. I liked the taste of their salsa and we also liked the options for the food combinations. My wife had a margarita which I tasted and it packed a little kick to it although I've had better. They also appear to have daily deals for food and drink. Service was a tad slow and food a little overpriced for what you get. Asked for a small side of guacamole and a side of sour cream. Our go-to for excellent Mexican food! Have tried many items on the menu - from the grill to tasty tacos to staff favs. I like hard shell tacos, my husband loves the house-made soft corn tortillas. Very accommodating for my wheat & dairy sensitivities, excluding flour tortillas or cheese when I ask. The staff knows us so well now that they automatically bring a large guacamole with jalapeños to our table when we are seated. I've seen them greet a number of patrons as regulars and the party tables are often occupied as well. read more

Update: Food has gone to complete crap. Cooks won't even try to cook how you'd like. Food lacks taste big time. Upper management pretends to give a crap but nothing improves. In fact only gets worse.
