As you can see from pictures we were skimped majorly. The portion size is extremely small for the price. These 2 nachos plus a cheese dip were $31! The portion is not worth the price at all! When I spoke with the manager about my concern for the portion size, he basically said that's the portion and nothing he could do. There was no customer service or apology. Basically we would have to deal with it. His only explanation was because we ordered the nachos without chips so it looks small. With or without chips, the portion of meat should not change and should be more. When I asked for my money back the manager said if we wanted our money back then I would have to bring the food back which meant packing two small hungry kids back in the car. He said others have complained about the portion size as well and still no change or concern. This was our first visit and last visit!

However, many restaurants have food partially prepared and then warm it when ordered. It's fast but not fresh. Not the case here. I have no trouble waiting for good, fresh, and clean food! This was some of the best Mexican food we've had in years. The waiter was very friendly and polite. I would highly recommend Manrique's for dinner.
