The food was excellent, 3 stars for the absolutely worst pitcher of margarita we have ever had at a mexican restaurant. 100% mix, just pure sugar. Both of us left a half glass on the table, because it was making us sick. Too bad it ruined some really great Mexican food. Servings are huge. Just an unhappy experience, but it's not all the restaurant's fault. First, it was crowded (5:30 on a Friday night) so we took a seat at the bar. We were promised that someone would come take our order, but nobody did. When a waitress appeared to take the order of a couple at the bar who showed up after us, I fussed about the lack of attention thereby getting a better reaction. Second the tacos we were served came in a CORN tortilla, which is not what we ordered. Overall a bad experience. read more

The menu was easy to read (pictures always help!) and the prices were reasonable. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas which were delicious! My husband had huevos rancheros and unfortunately had to send it back because the eggs were fried hard when he asked for soft but our waitress immediately took it and had it corrected. This is my most favorite place to eat. I eat here maybe 2 to 3 times a week.. when I bring people out to see around my area because they visit me from out of town. This is my must go to. This used to be our favorite restaurant but after receiving bad green sauce from the bar we quit going. It literally exploded in the container. He had a smart remark about complaining about the food being cold, and taking it home for it to be "cold". This isn't the first time I've gotten cold food. But it sure will be the last. We pay too much for food to get cold food especially when it's supposedly cook to order. We usually eat there quite a lot. At least once or twice a month. Who says I wasnt going to eat it in my car? Wonderful food, Great atmosphere. Our waitress purposefully ignored my husband and only would pay attention/ talk to me if he needed something. She was young and very rude. A veteran waitress (someone who was sweet and kind) picked up the girl's slack, and kept apologizing due to the girl's behavior. My husband refuses to go there for this reason. Based on it having a higher rating than the Mexican restaurant 2 minutes from our hotel, we drove the extra 4 minutes. Atmosphere is standard for a strip mall but friendly staff upon entry.
