New Mexican restaurant that opened up in downtown Redmond. If you haven't been to their food trucks you are in for a treat. They serve breakfast and lunch items all day. I have to say that this is the best tacos and burritos in Redmond. Ingredients are very fresh as they have multiple food trucks and go through ingredients on a daily basis. They stuff their tacos and burritos with tons of ingredients, especially the protein in tacos. Their salsa is so delicious and fresh and with the right heat levels. Los Chilangos really nails it- great quality, deliciousness, fair price, portion sizes, value, awesome owners/staff. Thursday we walked over for breakfast not realizing their hours had changed and they weren't open yet- but someone noticed us and made carne asada breakfast burritos happen! Even better, the food was as awesome as the owner. The burritos were some of the best we've had- great tortilla, meat-heavy with a great balance of eggs, fresh potatoes, beans & cheese. We were so impressed we went back for lunch Saturday and Sunday for horchata, tacos, mulitas, and The Godfather burrito. We've tried nearly all of the meats and they have all been solid. This is the best authentic Mexican food you will find in Redmond!! There is a wide variety of items in the menu. All the dishes and drinks are delicious! They also play catchy music. It is an all around lively environment. The staff is also VERY nice and helpful! I want to give a special thanks to Roberto, who served us. He was very kind and checked on us periodically to see if we were doing alright. We didn't have to stand up to get salsas, utensils, napkins and other things because he brought everything to our table. He also took care of the table after we were done eating. What's not to love about Los Chilangos? The answer is nothing! 1) The food is delicious. We have had the following tacos: birria, carne asada, chicken, and carnitas. The birria is my personal favorite - so tender and cheesy, and the dipping sauce is savory and heavenly. I'd recommend three of these, although you technically can get one. The tacos are also a great deal. This is a super affordable lunch option. We also love their guacamole. My fiance is obsessed with my guacamole and always says its the best, but upon trying theirs, he said it rivals mine! I say that's fair. We also enjoy the margaritas. The rim is sugar, not salt, which was a surprise, but not in a bad way. 2) The service is excellent. Everyone is so friendly and happy. We love Lou, who always stops by and says hi and is all smiles, but everyone is so wonderful. They come and check to make sure your plates are taken as they empty, to see if you want more chips if you order chips and salsa, and to make sure you are enjoying the food. 3) The ambiance is cool. The art is fun, with some cool photo ops if you're into that, and there's always a pleasant buzz of families and people coming in and out to enjoy food. It's never too busy, but it never feels lonely and empty either. It's the perfect blanace. I'd highly recommend! We hired them for our wedding, so I am very much looking forward to enjoying them on the most special day of our lives, and sharing the food with our friends. I got the taco platter and my partner got the wet burrito. The tacos rice and beans were great traditional dishes. The wet burrito had some kick and was huge! The horchata was a great way to wash down the spice, very tastey. Their chips and salsa were great. And the prices were phenomenal. The customer service was also delightful. Update: It was kind of awkward but I did get a refund. Apparently their online ordering experience is still being worked out and they didn't have a mechanism to just refund me directly. I was offered store credit, or pickup cash, or to have them send me a check if i was okay with giving my address. Overall not quite the response I would have liked having started my interaction via a simple online order system to now have to deal with physical checks or cash or or potentially hard to use store credit. I chose the store credit to give them another chance, but wasn't exactly told how to use it ( no coupon code or any instructions, just assurance that the Redmond location would be aware). In the end I had to go and interact in person and just explain everything to the poor guy at the register and hope they didn't think I was a scam artist. He wasn't aware of any credit for me but I showed him my email exchange and he got my order started before calling to confirm. And then I was even paid for my trouble. I ended up getting chilaquiles with al pastor and scrambled eggs. It was unexpectedly spicy but still good. For now this whole issue soured my experience of the restaurant. I'll probably go back eventually but not for a while so they can get their online orders worked out read more

Super friendly staff. Staffer speaks Spanish and has a great accent. Really tasty green salsa. Green is spicier than their regular red. They have a smoked red salsa too. We tried their best sellers, traditional Burrito, Wet Burrito, Mulitas, Chilaquiles and Tacos Al Pastos, and their house-made Horchatas and super refreshing Pineapple Agua Frescas for beverage. Everything we had at Los Chilangos was delicious and flavorful. What I loved the most is that they stick to traditional recipes and use the best ingredients to create consistently delicious dishes. The spices, the colors, the flavors, everything was perfectly balanced. After trying several other Mexican restaurants in the Seattle area, I think I have found a winner. I ordered the godfather burrito with birria and there was little to no birria in this burrito, and all the "meat" was all chunks of fat. I was pretty nice so I don't know why I recieved the food this way. I've never left a review before this, but if you were ordering here I would not recommend getting this, or you might be disappointed. These are by far my favorite tacos and burritos on the Eastside. They can get a little busy during lunch for how small they are, so you might have trouble dining in during peak hours if you have a bigger group. The Al Pastor and Carnitas are excellent, but the Cabeza and Lengua are awesome too. If you're here early, the chilaquiles and breakfast burrito with Chorizo are great too.
