I could not tell the difference between the dumplings, but they were really not something I'd ever order again or recommend to anyone. Again very cold, and the flavors just were not good, they were sprinkled with way too much raw curry powder. The beef piroshky had nothing but dry crumbly beef inside, that's it. There was no flavor to any of the food other than the sauces they come with (which is just sour cream and a mayo based sriracha). We showed up to the strip mall to order Chinese food at great. China and the Russian in dumplings is right next-door.. we got half of cheese and potato, half beef loaded dumplings, the dumplings are tossed and butter, and covered with cheese and green onions with a side of sour cream. This is my new favorite version of potatoes. It taste exactly like a loaded, baked potato.. The beef dumplings were super flavorful and not dry it all. Also we got a honey cake which I have not tried yet, but the dumplings were so good. It doesn't matter.. the lady at the register was incredibly friendly and helpful. The service was fast. I have passed this location so many times, and the unique name caught my eye! We ordered online for pick-up. Food was nicely packed and ready upon arrival. We tried the loaded Loaded Dumplings, Sweet & spicy dumplings and a sweet piroshki for dessert. Both of our favorite things were different: I love the sweet and spicy while he enjoyed the loaded dumplings more. We more wish the loaded dumplings had more cheese/toppings so that all of the dumplings could have topping. Rush In Dumplings is located off of 100th Ave NE in a strip mall across from the Juanita Safeway. There's ample parking in the shared lot. This place is set up as a walkup and order place with no tables for restaurant dining. I called ahead to pick up my order, and it was ready upon arrival. Service was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the dumplings. You can mix and match which filling you want in your dumpling from beef, chicken, beef & pork, potato & cheese, and potato & mushrooms. I went with a 12-piece order of the classic (butter, sour cream, cilantro, sriracha, vinegar, and curry powder) in addition to the 12-piece Alaskan dumpling style with onion and parsley. I found the classic to be more flavorful, but I did enjoy the Alaskan version as well. For a small extra fee, you can get garlic flavored sour cream, which added a lot to the dumplings. The pricing is very reasonable with 12-piece dumplings costing $11 and 18-piece dumplings costing $16. You can also get them frozen ($10/pound). Next time I visit, I'll want to try their piroshki ($6.50 with meat or $6 without meat). read more

I was really hoping to have a better experience based on other reviews I read, sadly that's not the case. The loaded dumplings were pretty bland and not seasoned at all inside from what I could tell. I got the pork and beef stuffed and half potato and cheese. Neither flavor had any ... flavor. Then the oil, so much oil. It coated every bite and made any flavor even harder to detect. The cheese was somehow even bland. I got a side of the garlic sour cream and tried to use that to substitute for the food lacking flavor, but it was on the other end of the spectrum being so garlicky it was just spicy. I love garlic and cook with it often so I'm not just sensitive to it either. I debated throwing the dumplings away the whole time I ate them but I needed lunch and I wanted to give them a fair shot. I did not enjoy them. The honey cake was okay so I added a star otherwise this would have only gotten one. It was a very light flavor of honey as other reviews have said as well and it was what I expected. Fluffy and good, although I wouldn't go back for it. They gave me a punch card that I won't be using so if anyone wants it dm me haha. All in all, their dumplings were not good but maybeeeee the pastries are what you should be going for. For starters, this place is in the wrong location. It should be next to a bunch of bars! This is the food you need after a night of drinking. It's good, warm, and filling. Incredibly flavorful? No. Solid flavors, and do you feel satisfied when you're done? Yes. We got our first take out from here last night and I have to say it was a huge hit! Not knowing what to order, I asked the owners advice. He was SO helpful, listened to what both my daughter and I wanted, suggesting options to keep us both (and the family waiting at home) happy. We ordered plain, fully loaded and sweet & spicy dumplings, with a variety of meet/chicken/potato & cheese filings). For the piroshki, we ordered the meet, potato & mushroom and potato & cheese. In addition we got a side of Rushin coleslaw and borscht. I haven't had borscht before and was a little hesitant as I'm not a fan of beetroot but it tasted so good! Unfortunately none of the main food survived a second for me to take photos, it was just too tasty! Given it was our first meal from Rushin, I decided to treat the family to desserts. All were really tasty with the honey cake, apple turnover and sweet apricot piroshki being tied favorites. Spoiler: the desserts were fine and not overly sweet, the rest of the savory stuff were not good. Got the 12pc Classic Beef & Pork Dumplings, 12pc 1/2 Potato & Cheese + Chicken Alaskan Dumplings, Piroshki Potato & Mushrooms, Borscht Soup w/ Bread. Followed by desserts - Bird Milk, Pahlava, and Napoleon. Everything was already room temperature by the time I picked up the food, and I live pretty close to the place. The Alaskan dumplings were all stuck together and the fillings had almost no flavor. Most of the flavor came from the sour cream on the side. The Classic dumplings were much more flavorful, very strong curry (almost Indian), mixed with vinegary taste, but also cold. Again, the filling didn't offer much. Piroshki dough was actually pretty flaky, but the potato mushroom filling was very bland. The Borscht soup was pretty cold, and was honestly nothing special. The beef chunks were a bit tough, flavor was OK. The bread that I added on the side was tiny and almost like store bought bread. The desserts were much better personally, although I wouldn't say they were anything spectacular. The best thing was that they were not overly sweet. Flavor was amazing, sauce was flavorful, price seemed fair and overall I was extremely happy. I only had the dumplings and will explore other options on my next visit. This is a small restaurant and owner handles everything. If you are looking for Russian version of comfort food, this is one of the restaurants you can find. This restaurant sells pelmeni (although menu says "dumplings"). They are tiny dumplings filled with meat, potato or / cheese. They are delicious and seasoned well. They are bite-sized morsels. You don't normally find this kind of food in many cities in US but I am pleasantly surprised by how authentic and delicious they are. They are just like home-cooked ones (nothing like machine made restaurant style). They also sell "Piroshki" which is one of my favorite Russian comfort food. Sadly they are not great (should have baked better - need to be more dark brown colored buns). Small family run business. I was a bit skeptical as I mostly go for Asian dumplings like din tai Feng. But these Russian dumplings were extremely tasty and well made. Portions may seem small but are pretty filling. Ordered the 18 piece Alaskan dumplings with beef and pork. The dough is not too thin or thick. The dumpling filling was flavorful, the beef and pork taste came through and was well balanced. The grill onions enhance it also. It comes with sour cream but was not needed IMO. I'd been craving Russian dumplings for a while and this definitely scraped my itch! They have a variety of fillings, so it was tough to decide. This place just opened up in our area and we visited on a Saturday for lunch. The Loaded dumplings were amazing. We also ordered the curry beef soup and chicken soup. The chicken soup's broth was kind of bland but the beef curry was good. They do not really have in person dinning; but a small waiting area. There were 4 or 5 other people there and our order was ready in about 10 minutes. Very friendly staff. Will be back again. They also have frozen items you can take home. read more

Delicious Russian Food I like the place is very clean and they serve fast. Food is really good and authentic. Dumplings seems like hand-made with the thin dough and right amount of the filling. Some combinations are a bit too exotic for my taste, but taste good. Personally, I prefer classic fillings and just sour cream. Borsch is very good. Like really really good. If you haven't try you definitely should. Piroshki tastes good, but I think they are way overpriced for what is that.
