A gentleman that I know, Zach from GUSTO PIZZA, highly recommended this Food Truck oriented business to me with respect to the fish and chips that they offer. I was able to catch up with the folks from TANDEM at the Monroe farmers market. I ordered their fish and chips and their chicken tenders... The fish and chips were very good and tasty and the chicken tenders were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend that you check them out and order some food from them, they usually have a menu that features 6 to 7 choices. The food truck comes to our office building sometimes, and I love fried seafood. I was hoping they had fried oysters, but they didn't, so I tried the Captain's Platter, which came with fried fish, fried shrimp, crab cake, and fries. Tandem food truck stopped by our office this week as part of the Seattle FoodTruck event. They mainly serve seafood - fish n chips, crab cakes, prawns basket, clam chowder, fries etc. They were so friendly and very nice. Great service unlike some other dood trucks stopped by in the past. I ordered an Alaskan cod fish n chips. Around 5-6 minutes of wait time with around 3-4 people ahead of me in the line. Cod was completely cooked and deep fried. They served the tartar sauce along side. One of my favorites and they have done total justification to it. Loved it. Chips were fresh and hot, served with ketchup. Great combination. Loved the food and food truck. I am looking forward to try more options when I come across this truck again. It's a $$ food truck. But must say, worth it! read more

We drove from North Bend to Woodinville today just for the fish and chips. Yes. It is that good!

Had dinner at this food truck when it popped up at a local distillery. Captains Platter had a good selection of fish, shrimp, and crab cakes on top of fries, and we also got a generous serving of onion rings. The event was at a home in cougar mountain Issaquah WA and tandem catering came out of Snohomish WA. They did a wonderful job with the food! The salmon was literally caught the day before and cooked on a wood fire grill at the event. Everything was seasoned to perfection and had great flavors, from the salads to the main course. This married couple has over 30 years of experience in the restaurant and catering business. If you want quality over speed and the razzle dazzle of a in person grill and prep, this is your caterer! Would leave 0 stars if I could!! Got food poisoning from this place and they blamed it on beer I had drank at the venue they were serving at. Completely unprofessional and after talking to staff at the venue they mentioned that tandem cancels on them with short/no notice all the time. Apparently they used to own a restaurant of the same name that closed and employees were left unpaid!! I'm empathetic to an extent, but give me a break. Steer clear!!!! Stood me up for an event one day out. They have some things going on personally, which I understand, but to wait until the day before my event is a big issue. Left me scrambling. They did give me a name for an alternate truck, but I had others who were willing to do our event that I would have picked, had they just canceled on me two weeks ago when they knew things were going sideways. My husband and I got married at Sunset Knoll, the venue run by Tandem, in August. The venue was absolutely stunning! Lisa and Brad put in countless hours making the grounds look like a rustic, gorgeous fairytale. There were colorful flowers everywhere, lush grass, and string lights that illuminated our reception and dance floor. Brad is a master in the kitchen and our food was spectacular. This venue is a great size for a wedding or other event for ~100 people. It was exactly the type of venue we wanted for our special day! read more

Lisa and Bradley catered a work event for us with around 100 guests. We did pulled pork, chicken, slaw and corn on the wood fire grill. They individually plated everyone's food and kept everything running with great energy. I highly recommend the experience they have to offer.
