The amount of grilled onions they add is just right and gives it that perfect sweet-savory balance. Honestly, it's better than any burger I've had at a sit-down restaurant (and I've paid $15+ for ones that don't even come close!). I also tried the eggrolls on a stick -- yes, foot-long eggrolls -- and they were amazing. Super crispy, packed with flavor, and clearly made with quality ingredients. You can really taste the care they put into everything. And don't skip the shaved ice! The flavors are bold, refreshing, and not overly sweet -- just the perfect treat to cool down with. You can tell this food is cooked with love and pride. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, not mass-produced. I'll definitely be coming back (probably more than I should ). Highly recommend! After the Minnesota Wild game had ended just before 4 pm on Saturday, I drove over to this food truck to get some dinner. It was easy finding this food truck. It was parked in the Cub Foods lot closest to 10th Street North. I parked steps away and approached the truck. The woman in the food truck was nice and helpful. There was also a man helping out. Mr Egg Roll, as the name implies, specializes in egg rolls. It offers regular and jumbo ones. She let me know that the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls had sold out. However, there were still pork and chicken ones available. I went with the former. I also went jumbo because I was daring and curious to find out how large they were. I asked her whether getting two jumbo ones would be enough for dinner. She said yes. I got two. The menu also had chicken wings and boba. Ah, two items that melt my heart. I decided to get boba. She offers both fruit and milk bubble tea. I went with fruit and got the peach green tea with a mix of boba. It does run a bit steep price-wise. I paid $25 with a tip. Considering that I don't eat at food trucks much and it's a mom-and-pop business, it's worth it. She thankfully accepts credit cards. I was handed a buzzer. She let me know that it would take fifteen minutes to prepare my order. I was thrilled that I didn't have to wait outside on an unseasonably cold, windy day. I got to hibernate in my rental car. Sure enough, fifteen minutes later, the buzzer went berserk in my hand, buzzing and flashing like a mini disco dance-off. I got out of the car and headed over to fetch my food. The woman asked if I needed a bag. I said that I was okay without one. I got a plastic container with my egg rolls and my bubble tea. She advised to stir my drink up before drinking it. I thanked her and headed back to my car. I drove over to a corner of the parking lot and had my food. The pork egg rolls were awesome. It was packed full of filling. The vermicelli and veggies were mixed in with the ground pork. The filling wasn't precooked before hand. It looks like the mixture was packed firmly into a wrapper and deep-fried to perfection. The positive thing about this approach is that you don't have filling falling out of the egg roll with each bite. If you are an egg roll purist, you may dislike this approach. I thought it was cool and the filling was flavourful. The wrapper was thin and extremely crispy. It was delightful dipping the roll halves into the sauce. They were jumbo rolls and I loved them. The boba was excellent. You get a mix of tapioca balls, and coconut and strawberry jelly. The sugar was fixed, but it was perfect for me. The only downside was that there was a lot of ice at the top that I had a tough time poking the straw into my drink. Once I was able to, I was good. This food truck was a great find. I'm so glad that I stopped by to get dinner here. I'd return in a heartbeat. (66)

I truly have never had a worse experience with a food truck than what I had here. It took over an…read morehour to get our food and we're talking about a burrito bowl I truly don't know how it can possibly take so long to build a burrito bowl. It would be one thing if they were super busy but they weren't, we timed it and they were sending an order out every 15-20 minutes which is an insanely slow rate especially for a taco food truck. That also doesn't include the fact that they were also sending out partial orders as in if someone ordered 2 orders of tacos they were sending one out and then maybe 5-10 minutes later they would get the next order. They were also parked in the parking lot of the restaurant and one of the workers was going back and forth (and probably should've been getting support from the restaurant) and we asked why it was taking so long and he shrugged and said well it's only about double the wait time of the restaurant (not sure that's something to brag about nor does it look good on the restaurant). We even had 3 people in front of us that went and got their money back because of how long it was taking otherwise we might not have gotten our food for another 30 minutes to an hour. After waiting so long we thought this better be the best food ever and honestly it fell super flat. In one of our bowls the meat was half fat and gristly and inedible. I will definitely avoid coming back here ever again.

I took a break for a year...then decided last Friday that a food truck lunch was in order. I gathered my co-workers and we marched out in the glorious sun to the streets of food truck land! I walked past the usual suspects and the large red truck of The Red Pig & Truffle caught my eye. At first, I was slightly confused to not see a menu...thinking there was only a single item they served...only to find the menu propped up against the side of the truck with 6 people standing in front of it. The menu is short and sweet...with The Red Pig at the very top. It listed 3-4 kinds of meats, pickled veggies, some sort of secret sauce for the average price of $10. I rolled the dice, got myself in line and waited...and waited...until I finally got a chance to order. I quickly informed the man behind the counter in a frantic haze...The Red Pig, please! Like a savage, I tossed the man my debit card...in which he proceeded to pray that his Square device would work (to not give me a free meal!). I continued to wait and saw that my coworkers were busy wolfing down their lunch...lucky turds...it looked amazing and was getting jealous that I was still waiting for what I thought would be a tiny ass sammich with a slice of deli meat on it. Alas...I hear my ordered called and I hurried over to grab my food and run. To my surprise...I was presented the glorious sammich that is The Red Pig. Stuffed like a pig with what seemed like a pound of meat, sharp cheese, pickled veggies, spinach and drizzled with balsamic vinegar. There is no normal human way to eat this monster...you have to take it apart and attack it like an animal. The combo of salted meats...with sharp swiss...deep flavored balsamic...holy hell this sammich is AMAZING. Don't forget the napkins...like a big ass wad of napkins...you'll need a wet rag...this is your SIGN to get this sammich...
