First time here! What a cute place! We walked in and were seated immediately. Quick service with drinks and food wasn't far behind. We had an extremely kind waitress! Our food was tasty! My husband got the Huevos Racheros with green chile and carne adovada and I got carne adovada with eggs, red chile, papas and refried beans!! All of it was very good! Happy we came here and we will be back. As we left it was so very busy! We did great timing for our arrival! Thank you all for a clean, inviting and wonderful breakfast experience!!

We will not be back here. There were different prices just because it was to go. Then come to find out that they raised prices by $6. I understand that price is go up from time to time. The same plates we ordered before we're now six dollars more per plate. Relleno plate, taco burger plate. NOT WORTH IT. rather go to Little Anita's

I'm always on the hunt for good menudo, and this place absolutely nailed it. They won best in the city--and honestly, that's no lie. The menudo tasted homemade: fresh, clean, and full of flavor. The tripe was perfectly cooked--not overly fatty--and they even included patas, for an extra charge. The rest of our group had enchiladas and everyone was impressed. The food all around was delicious. We were seated within five minutes, and the service was friendly and fun from start to finish. I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic Mexican food done right!

Hands down my favorite spot for menudo! We arrived right when they opened, and as usual, the line was already wrapping around the building. Luckily, we were seated immediately and got our order in before the bigger groups... love that early-bird advantage! Coffee and water came out right away, along with complimentary chips and their spicy salsa (always a win). I ordered a small menudo to start the morning since it was a chilly one, and as always, it didn't disappoint. So flavorful, comforting, and absolutely delightful. This place never misses. If you love menudo, this is the spot.

My cousin brought me here to try out some good NM food. I'm from California and was looking forward to sampling a taste of Albuquerque. I ordered the stuffed sopes with red sauce and carne asada. Paired that with an horchata. I could forget to add my desert which was a box of biscochitos Pecan..everything was delicious! The salsa with chips was spicy! Not too hot not too bland for my taste buds. Our waitress had a good personality and humor. Great service in my opinion. The place was very busy and ambiance was very family oriented. Thank you again for the amazing food and hospitality!

A great down home New Mexican spot in the heart on ABQ! We love their salsa (spicy enough but not TOO spicy), fantastic green and red sauce on whatever you like and just about any classic New Mexican dish there is! Great and friendly service as always.

This place is always busy on weekends. The wait for a smaller party isn't too bad since the service is quick. We like the homemade complimentary chips and salsa, which is a staple for a local new mexican restaurant. Staff is very friendly and always on top of any requests. My bf has been on the search for the best posole, and he may have found it. He said the small posole was very filling and had plenty of meat, which most places skimp on. It had good flavor, and the small was actually a big serving. We also shared the chicharrones, which were also good, but hoped it had bigger pieces to snack on. I mixed them on my plate, which also gave it more flavor. I had the asada plate, which is chopped steak covered chile and cheese served with beans and rice, but I opted for extra beans no rice. I could not finish my plate but took the leftovers home for a wonderful burrito later. It's definitely worth the price given the size, and I would recommend anyone who wants authentic new mexican to come here.

I'm thrilled to eat here. Authentic and kind. Chips are freshly made. Guac is richly spiced and fun to share. Iced tea, freshly brewed and my flautas perfection. My waitress knew the menu inside and out. Thank you for filling my belly with passionate food.

10/10!! My husband and I went here for lunch to celebrate my birthday and I was so excited to try it. Got the recommendation from a local Tik Tok couple that tries and reviews local spots so I knew going into it I HAD to try the pozole and it was the best restaurant pozole I've ever had, and second best I've EVER HAD PERIOD (Nana's will always be #1 ). I loved how they do a lot of their stuff a la cart because I'm super indecisive and I wanted a little bit of everything! I ended up getting the small pozole, 2 carne asada tacos, and a tamale. The pozole comes with a piece of toasted bread but I subbed sopapillas (small up-charge, but 100% worth it). My husband got the stuffed sopapilla plate with ground beef and beans and it came with 2 sides and a tortilla. We also couldn't resist the chips and guac, but I'm pretty sure every meal comes with chips and salsa before hand which is a win in my book! Will definitely be going back here frequently! Our server was great and the atmosphere was super authentic. Didn't have to wait long for 2 at 1pm for lunch on a Friday. Definitely my new favorite NM restaurant in town, no joke!

Our server was there promptly as we were seated taking our drink order and finding out we were first timers, pointed out common favorites as suggestions. We shared a biscuit and gravy breakfast plate, which the restaurant was kind enough to split for us in the kitchen. The menu stated they used sausage gravy and photos from here on Yelp supported that; we however got gravy with zero sausage. It wasn't even a creamy country gravy. It was so thin. The taste was good but still disappointing. The potatoes were excellent. Well seasoned with crispy bits. The egg was perfect for us. Over easy order=whites solid with runny yolk. The egg was so good I ate most of it before I remembered to take a picture. The food I'd give 3.5 stars but the service pulled my rating up to 4. We do plan on returning for their amazing looking pancakes, waffle plates and or French toast. When we left the restaurant at 10:10 AM the waitlist had started. All benches by the entrance were full. A very popular restaurant!

Cookie was less impressive but still worth the impulse buy. Indoor and breezy outdoor seating available. Highly recommend!

The kids are happy, I'm happy, and honestly, that's a successful breakfast in my book. The only downside is the limited seating. It's a smaller location, so it can fill up quickly, especially during the breakfast rush. If you happen to come during a really busy time, you may have to wait a bit to find a table. That said, I don't think it takes away from the experience you just have to time it right. We usually come for breakfast since they're open for breakfast and lunch, and this time I tried the Grande burrito. And let me tell you, "Grande" is not an exaggeration. That is a LOT of food. I got the bacon-smothered burrito with red chile, and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I could not finish it. I do wish there was something between the Grande and Junior because the Grande is a serious commitment, and I'm not sure the Junior would be enough. I'll have to try it next time and find out. My daughter ordered the steak sandwich, which comes with an Angus sirloin steak on Texas toast. It looked a little wild when it came out, but she ate it and said it was delicious, so apparently the presentation was just part of the experience. My son got the sausage, egg and cheese biscuits. He ate the whole thing, so clearly he approved. His only complaint was that the biscuit kept falling apart, but considering he's a little kid, I'm going to blame that one on the user rather than the biscuit. The staff has always been friendly during our visits. On this particular morning, a gentleman came around several times to refill our house coffee, which I always appreciate. Good service and a full coffee cup go a long way. And if you're into pastries and coffee, they have plenty of options. I've tried their blueberry muffin, and it is divine. They also have different baked scones, and I've had their lattes and macchiatos, which have all been really good. I still need to come back during the lunch hours because there are several things I want to try. The hot beef sundae caught my attention, and the Philly also looked really good. There are so many different options that I feel like I could keep coming back and ordering something different every time. This is definitely the kind of place where you can stop in, grab something really good, enjoy a little coffee, and get on with your morning. It's casual, welcoming, and consistently good. Limited seating is really my only complaint. Otherwise, I've been here multiple times and have yet to leave disappointed. Definitely a must-try!

The area looks old and poor, but near the restaurant, we didn't see anything sketchy. When we were leaving, we did see some homeless people at the main intersection, but we didn't see anything we'd describe as sketchy. We did notice there is a mobile home park behind the restaurant, but there is a wall between the mobile home park and the restaurant parking lot. Even if there were police surrounding the mobile home park, we'd still venture inside to eat. The food is that good. We shared the cowboy breakfast burrito and the Santa Fe pancakes. Both were filling and ridiculously good. The Santa Fe pancakes made with blue corn, roasted piñons, green chili, and cheddar jack cheese were different than anything else we've ever had. I'll admit I didn't love my first bite or two, but the more I ate, the more I wanted. The pancakes are dry, but if you drizzle some syrup, it's the perfect match. The accompanying eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. The cowboy breakfast burrito is massive, filling, and worth every calorie. Even though we were stuffed, we had to get the peach with green chile turnover. We asked if the turnover is served warm and our waitress replied that she could warm it up for is. I'm not sure that it is normally served warm, but I highly recommend it. The turnover flaky, the glaze was silky once warmed up and the peach with green chile was unique and delicious. Five star service and food. I highly recommend Vick's Vittles and hope that I'm in the area again so I can try more of this delicious food.

For our meal, we ordered two Chicken & Waffles plates, a Blue Corn Lavender Waffle, and a kids' plate. The Chicken & Waffles were the highlight of the meal, offering a satisfying balance of sweet and savory flavors. The Blue Corn Lavender Waffle was a unique touch and a fun way to try something distinctly New Mexican. Neither my wife nor I cared for the drip coffee, so we asked a staff member if we could swap it out for double espressos. They were happy to accommodate us, and the espresso was a significant improvement. The service was friendly, and the staff made a positive first impression from the phone call all the way through our visit. For our family, the total came to about $80, which felt a little steep. We ended up eating inside since the patio tables were either occupied or unavailable (due to a sleeping homeless person). The restaurant is housed in a renovated older home, and they've done a nice job making the most of the space. The asparagus was inconsistent (some smaller mushy stalks and some large uncooked crunchy stalks). The toast would have been fine but the amount of pesto on it was atrocious. I scraped most of it off...I mean there was a MOUND of it. The egg was fine (opted for regular).
