    Carnitas Burrito Bowl
    Jon N.

Decent little place that's more conducive to take out as it's limited seating. Service was okay. Not really welcoming but efficient. Food was good. Burrito Bowl was big, as was a regular Burrito. Flavors didn't blow me away, but it was still good. Nice little salsa bar with some crazy hot sauce!

Coming from a midwesterner's perspective, I don't know if this means much, but i received a very solid burrito that served as my lunch and dinner for my journey back to Chicago. Highly suggest adding guacamole.

We came here on a hunt for the best fish tacos and we were not dissapointed. Tge fish was fresh, the batter light and crispy and thr veggies were very fresh. We Also loved tge shrimp and the mushroom tacos. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We've found our go to taco spot in Burbank!

Food- I got the Taco plate with 2 beef tacos rice and beans. The tacos were really good, but the rice seemed a bit over cooked (it was an hour before they closed so maybe I just got a scoop from the last batch of the day. The service was quick and the ambiance is a small taco shop with some Spanish music playing. Prices were decent and I'd definitely come back for Taco Tuesday

Carna Asada and Chicken Soft Tacos.

Another solid, tiny little Taquería. I came in for a quick small bite and ordered a Chicken and a Carne Asada Soft Tacos. Both were very tasty. The salsa was also good. The service was extremely adequate. There's more on the menu I want to try. I will definitely come back.

This place was so delicious. Definitely recommend getting a burrito of any kind, I got a fish burrito which was way better than anything else I've had in the area. Service was excellent and the food came out very quick. There's a decent amount of space to sit inside if you'd like to dine in! I definitely recommend trying Los Compadres out.

We asked for plane taco but not blan, lacks taste. This place definitely not it !

High Price - Not Worth It Honestly, this place is way overpriced. My wife and I tried the tacos, and at $5 per taco--especially for a spot that advertises shrimp tacos as their big selling point--we expected something great. Instead, the taste was maybe a 5/10 and definitely lacked any "wow" factor. The price did not match the quality at all. We won't be coming back.i looked in the kitchen, doesn't seem like business sis booming. Wonder why? I'm sorry to post this, but the restaurant was completely empty when we went... and honestly, maybe it's because the prices are just too high. It's a taco, not caviar.

Where's the Fish?? The tacos were mostly all batter and very little fish if any. Not good, but they look pretty.

Maybe just a bad day but I went here for fish tacos after reading other reviews. The service was good. The fish tacos looked good but they were mostly all greasy batter. There was barely any fish at all, just batter. Man I know times are tough but come on. lol I'm a bit of a foodie and I came to LA to try to find the best fish tacos. This place is DEFINITELY not it.

Been back a couple of more times since original review. We enjoyed the fish and also the shrimp tacos! Also the burrito bowl. All good!! Habanero salsa is excellent! Very attentive staff! Will be back! Gotta bring my sons here too.

Shrimp tacos and a cucumber lime agua fresca
    Michelle M.

I've tried both the shrimp and fish tacos and both are amazing! Everything is super fresh and all the flavors tie together so well. Add some pickled onions and habanero salsa and you're set! The agua frescas are delicious and not overly sweet but made just right! Service is on point and I'm stoked to have this spot down the street! Definitely recommend stopping by

Food was delicious! Staff was so friendly and attentive! The loaded fries with carnitas is a new fave! The fish taco was huge! The steak taco was so tender. Finding parking is a bit chaotic, but the food is totally worth it!

For example, if you want crispy tacos, you can have either ground beef or shredded beef. I ordered the shredded and boy was it good! Be sure to bring your patience because excellence takes time. They cook each meal as it is ordered. Everything is so fresh, tasty, and delicious! You might want to try the Mexican rice because it's wonderfully flavorful. The strawberry lemonade was sweet and juicy. Inside the restaurant, there are several seats and tables with lots of colorful scenes painted on the walls. It's very clean and the best part is it offers great shade from the hot sun. There's a small parking lot next to the building, which is certainly convenient. If you love Mexican food, this is a place you'll want to try!

Every order was very salty and the quesadillas were also soaked in oily wet sauce it took 4 layers of paper towel to absorb it. The irony of it all was we requested over and over that we wanted everything without salt/seasoning. My family was totally disgusted we just tossed it and went out for dinner. With low ceiling, the restaurant's noise level was amplified However, the food quality of their other spot along Vineland Avenue, next to the Circus Liquor was totally different and better.

I had passed by this restaurant before but had never been curious enough to actually stop in. This time their drink menu advertised outside caught my attention so I figured "hey, why not?" From the moment I walked in i was trying to figure out whether I liked the atmosphere or not. The music was excellent, but the décor took me a second to process. It felt like an 80s lounge crashed into a neon Día de los Muertos inspired art gallery. It's most definitely not a quiet, cozy restaurant. It has more of a loud, colorful, party style personality. I was seated promptly by a kind hostess but I wasn't attended to by a waiter for nearly 10 minutes. Once my waiter did come by he was kind, quick, and professional. Now, I'm going to be honest.. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Mexican restaurant food, so I didn't have the highest expectations. I ordered the potato taquitos, a Jarrito Loco made with watermelon purée, vodka instead of tequila, and chamoy on the rim, plus chiles toreados and one carne asada taco. Laugh all you want, but I was half expecting the food to come out looking like a cafeteria lady had splattered it onto a plate... I was genuinely impressed by the presentation instead. The potato "taquitos" were bigger than I expected so don't let the "itos" fool you. They were crispy, flavorful, filling, and honestly so delicious. Those get a 5/5 from me. My drink was also incredible. It was refreshing, especially with how hot the day was, and had just the right amount of alcohol. The presentation was so cute I almost felt bad ruining it. Easily one of the best drinks I've had in the Burbank area -- 5/5. The carne asada taco wasn't as impressive as the potato taquitos, so I'd give that a 3/5. The chile toreado was definitely spicy, it just needed to be salted a little more but otherwise no complaints! I need to remind myself not to be too quick to judge because I was genuinely surprised by this place. The décor wasn't fully my personal style, but the food and drinks more than made up for it. I'd definitely come back again, especially for the potato taquitos and drinks.

Our experience was disappointing…read more My friend and I stepped away briefly to use the restroom and specifically told our waiter that we would be back and asked them not to clear our table or throw away our food. We were gone for less than 7 minutes, and when we returned, our entire table had been cleared and our food was gone. The staff did offer to remake our meals, which we appreciated, but by that point the experience had already been ruined. We felt frustrated because we had clearly communicated that we were coming right back. Instead of waiting for the food to be remade, we decided to leave. Mistakes happen, but this situation could have easily been avoided with better communication and attention to the customer's request.

Built to hold heat and juice. The al pastor is the anchor. Pork chopped fine. Charred edges. Sweet pineapple note sneaks in without turning cloying. Fat rendered properly. Salsa ties it together. One bite and you're already planning the second order. Carne asada stays classic. Beefy. Well seasoned. Not overworked. Lime and onion doing the cleanup. Simple. Effective. No notes. Chicken tacos hold their own. Juicy. Not dry. Sauce-forward in the right way. Proof that this isn't just a red meat house. Salsas matter here. Green stays bright. Red brings heat. Neither overwhelms. You control the chaos. Respect. Service moves fast. Orders called. Food lands hot. No wasted motion. No attitude. They know the product speaks. The room stays tight and busy. In and out energy. People standing. Eating with purpose. No one lingering for ambiance. It's giving... street taco confidence with nothing to prove.

The tables were kinda dirty considering it was dinner time but only a small stream of customers while I was there. There were 2 people working as far as I can see. The server was nice taking my order and it didn't take too long for my order to come. There is a small side to get salsas and ice water. I had to figure that on my own. I ordered carne asada and one adobada. One was taco and one el perron version. Looking at the my plate I couldn't tell which was which. They were both tasty. My friend ordered a meal. The rice had no flavor. I would come back or go to another location as it looks like there are tons in the LA area. I would just stick to the tacos.
