First time to try out this latest addition to the food court at Burbank Media Center Mall. Service has been really good. The open atrium dining area gives a lovely vibe. My shrimp quesadilla was delightful and delicious. My hubby's carne asada burrito was consumed with gusto in a few seconds. Good food!

When I was at the register it seemed like there was a point program you can sign up for, however the cashier was in a hurry and skipped past it so I couldn't sign up. I ordered a Sear Shrimp bowl for my friend and for me the Tierra Azul Steak Nachos as well as a queso taco with asada. When the cook began to make my order I was a little disappointed to see that they have a char grill yet their steak was pre cut and cooked on the flat top. The char There is no way to really replace that char flavor. The char grill was basically a holder for bowls. Now for the actual food. The presentation was nice and the flavor for my queso taco was good but their hottest salsa was a little mild for me. I understand making things more palatable for the masses but some of us love spicy food. The Nachos were also good which you may say is hard to mess up but I have experienced bad nachos on Citywalk from that place that took over for Chamachos. All in all I came here because the line for the Mongolian Barbecue was too long but I did really enjoy my food. read more

I finally get to try this place. I ordered their grilled steak bowl, I normally would a soda with my food but they only had large soda which cost $5.00 which I considered excessive. So I went without a drink, the food taste ok but portion wise, was small for the price, they included chips but even that was tiny, so portion wise their bowl was not filling, it may taste ok but j was left hungry after my meal. Their drinks cost too much, maybe that's why they didn't include the drink prices in their menu. Service was ok. Place was kept clean I will probably not eat here again as I don't feel like I got my money's worth. read more

I wasn't expecting a lot, but i'm really surprised the Al Pastor and Shrimp tacos were bomb I thought it would be them tiny shrimps but oh boy was I wrong. I just had lunch at this place! All I can say that it that it was absolutely amazing! First of all, the service was wonderful! Erick was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is absolutely delicious! I had a battered fish taco, a grilled shrimp taco, and a side of pinto beans! Everything tasted fresh and was very flavorful! I think the fish taco, was one of the best that I've had in a long time! It is located on first floor of the food court of the Burbank mall! I stopped by while charging my car and decided to grab a quick lunch. I ordered the chicken bowl and a taco. The portions were solid, and everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. The fish in the taco was breaded -- not exactly my personal preference, since I think it could be even better without it, but I get why they do it. It's a food court spot, so it makes sense to keep things filling and satisfying. Service was friendly and fast, which made the stop easy and pleasant. The carne asada tasted weird and had a lot of fatty parts . Tasted like I was eating raw meat , maybe that's why they Put huge chunks of onion to mask the flavor of the nasty meat . Also definitely overpriced for what it is . Will never recommend this place or ever eat here again read more

The food is of poor quality and the customer service is poor, with the female preparing the food providing the worst service. In response to my request that I do not wish to have cabbage on my shrimp tacos, she gave me a look as if I had not asked when I placed my order. I was like I'm telling you now. I was treated as if I was receiving my food for free. Just removed it with her hands I front of me. My only reason for not saying anything was that I was in a hurry. However, I am compelled to rate this establishment one star due to a particularly unpleasant experience with a female deli employee whose first name begins with the letter "J." Despite my frequent visits, the overall customer service in the deli and meats department has declined. The season butchers have been replaced with individuals lacking the necessary experience and customer courtesy that were previously present. Over the past three months, I have encountered the same issues with this particular employee. It is important to note that the fee charged for slicing a Tri Tip into a carton container is not the primary concern. The issue lies in the employee's behavior and attitude, specifically their unwillingness to properly wrap the sliced meat. This has occurred on multiple occasions, most recently at the checkout counter when the cashier pull the foil-wrapped package from the plastic bag causing the juices of the meat to spill all over the counter. This has happened to me every time this employee has served me. The Tri Tip sliced meat is dry and devoid of juices due to this careless employee's failure to wrap the meat carefully. It is imperative that this situation be addressed. Management should provide this employee, "J," with proper training on how to wrap sliced food correctly. Additionally, it is crucial the ambiance that all employees, including the deli and butcher employees, maintain a pleasant and friendly demeanor. A salutation is always appreciated. Despite these concerns, the BBQ remains outstanding as always.

The pastrami sandwich was delicious and they give a generous amount of pastrami in their sandwiches. The chips that came with it were my favorite. They were freshly fried potato chips. Super crispy and yummy. The king pastrami burger was also delicious! The flavors of the burger all blended well together and they gave a lot of pastrami as well. The clam chowder bowl was flavorful and had the perfect amount of creaminess. Service was excellent! The server came to check in on us and made sure our tables were clear of any finished plates. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors at the restaurant!

One star. Seriously disappointed. I went to this Mexican restaurant hoping for some authentic flavors, but everything was incredibly bland. And the cashier? Rude and unhelpful. She acted like I was bothering her by being there. It's clear they don't value customer service. The ambiance was ok but still very unwelcoming. I definitely won't be going back.
