We just moved in around the corner and decided to check this place out for dinner. Being native New Mexican, I was interested to see stacked enchiladas. Don't often see them out of state. My partner got the red famous burrito. The red sauce on top was very authentic tasting and delicious. I got the beef chimi's which were very good! The Spanish rice was ok. A little on the dry side for my taste, but overall good. The refried beans were very tasty. We also grabbed the appetizer steak fries. Definitely need to be topped with some salt and salsa, but good as well. We will be back! read more

Ordered the Super burrito carne asada without beans to-go and this was one of the most disappointing burritos I've ever had. They gave me a tortilla wrapped with beef, rice and tomatoes and they put the sour cream and guacamole ON THE SIDE instead of inside the burrito (I didn't ask for this). They also put it in an aluminum Togo container which doesn't allow you to eat it with your hand so I needed a knife and fork. When I cut through the burrito, the whole thing fell apart. 12+ years we have shared the space and environment with this restaurant and never up until new management have my neighbors and I had an issue with the loud noise that comes from this restaurant at the most unpleasant and annoying hours. During the weekdays a specific employee loves to play loud music specifically at midnight or 1-3 in the morning from his car with their (male in black a car) exhaust to the fence causing fence and walls to shake, neighbors to wake, and causing dogs to bark, employees love yelling their goodbyes to one another for 5-7 min at midnight. During the weekends starting at 8 am they now add jumpers and activities in their parking lot and al thought it's a great business venture the kids are louder than a unwanted alarm and they love to scream and tease my dogs through the fence causing my pets to have horrible and stressful experiences every single weekend morning! I haven't tried their food since undergoing new management. read more

Seemed to be every other table being sat in. Always loved this place when I lived in Hayward since it was close by, moved to Fremont & now in union city but still love this place. Hello Readers. Stove is getting a restoration (1952 Wedgewood) So I decided to go to my local Los Dos Hermanos and have dinner at the Restaurant, it was about 8pm on March 2nd a Thursday night. I pulled into the parking lot and it was pretty much full (2 parking spaces available) and so was the street parking okay no problem I'm staying. Walked inside was greeted and I sat at the table for 2. What I noticed was 2 large groups at different Tables and other diners. Chips and salsa came as usual quickly, along with a Menu, I was intrigued by how many people were eating at 8pm during the week. It was excellent to see. I ordered a combo plate and started to gaze around the Restaurant and what stood out to me was how well the staff handled the large amount of people they moved around the restaurant with such Grace and professionalism they were outstanding in their service to all enjoying great food and group togetherness. As far as my combo plate it was excellent in flavor and portions. Los Dos Hermanos is CONSISTENTLY CONSISTENT AS FAR AS YOU ARE GOING TO GET THE SAME SIZE AND FLAVOR EACH AND EVERY TIME YOU DINE HERE. Top quality, new ownership, but I didn't know that. I just was surprised at how delicious the food was! I thought to myself they must have hired a new cook, then I found out it was new ownership. I love their chile rellenos, they are made fresh, and nothing is from a can! My son ordered chile colorado and he gave me a taste!! "Perfecto!" They also have freshly made corn tortillas, and they are very attentive to their customer's needs. They give chips and bean dip with salsa while you are deciding what to order. The prices are not bad either. They serve a generous portion for the money. Weekends have a brunch buffet with such a delicious spread to choose from, you won't be disappointed with this restaurant. I didn't think of taking pictures of my plate, but next time I will. When they first had taken over, we had a family get together there, around 15 of us and the place is great for large parties. Los Dos recently sold. My colleagues and I would often go for lunch. We've been a few times since the change of ownership. Today we went for a late lunch, we both ordered carne asada quesadillas and a chorizo taco. The two tables seated after us, and ordered after us- apparently ordered a full meal .We literally waited 25 minutes for our quesadillas Lemme say- THEY were not the same quality smaller, less cheese and tough meat. I honestly don't understand why this place has only 3 1/2 stars. This place should have 5 stars! I really enjoyed the food, drinks and service! I spoke to the owner Raquel and she was extremely nice! This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! Authentic and very good. This time my fish was a little overcooked and they forgot my sauce. Garlic or red sauce is great. This is a local favorite I've had the red enchiladas and they were delicious. On another visit I tried the shrimp cocktail and it was also delicious. The only thing I would have liked was bigger shrimp. They have tasty horchata as well. The service is great! You walk in and pretty much seat yourself in the large open dining area. They are quick to welcome you in and take your beverage drink. It's family friendly restaurant and even has a food truck in the parking lot for anyone who doesn't want a formal sit down meal. so my family has been going there for years, they have a big sign saying they changed management. at lunch I ordered tire man that were dinner items. unfortunately they have me pork Colorado super burritos instead of chile verde. I was truly expecting modern New Mexico food. I got fatty pork very little meat with no taste on what seemed to be red sauce. the dinner menu for flautas was only two at almost 20. in Be half the refried beans are tasty and rice fluffy but the main needs work! and I'm really not that picky, flavor and portion are best, don't need fancy! read more

A un assuming old style Mexican food restaurant. Flavor filled salsa with a spicy chili kick.. un like other Bay Area salsas. De Ajo is garlic heavy as it should be so close to the garlic capital city ... and surprisingly light in taste without heavy oil. A little supplement to my previous review in 2021, I feel eating Mexican food well isn't eating it without Chips and Salsa! I ordered today for my husband and I and said what the heck, I am adding on To go Chips and Salsa. It was a little extra for the add on but it was very well worth it! Salsa has a lot of kick to it and the chips are super fresh and crispy. They have different sizes of salsa and chips you can add on in the Door Dash App. You get plenty of chips in the bag and Salsa in the tub. I found it cheaper than buying the stuff prepackaged in a bag and a jar in the store. This is one of my favorite things about eating out in Mexican Restaurants is the chips and salsa before the meal. Los Dos Hermanos continues to be our favorite place for ordering for delivery and we've never had an order arrive cold but it was very fresh. read more

So it's big...the biggest I've ever had and oh so meaty. For under $10 for this super burrito, you can't beat it. I'm usually quite ravenous w/ a healthy appetite but couldn't finish this. Takes a bit of work and utensils recommended since they leave the sour cream, guacamole and salsa on the side. Grilled chicken was yummy - not much to comment on that. I hate leaving reviews like this but I'm hoping it'll reach whoever is in charge to make some changes. My family and I ate here yesterday and we were really disappointed in the food. My son got a grilled cheese & fries. Although I use butter for my grilled cheese sandwiches, some use mayo. But the mayonnaise wasn't cooked in the sandwich so there were globs of mayo all throughout and it just wasn't good. My tacos were bland. My pinto beans were very dry, my crunchy taco was overcooked, the soft taco broke and was soggy and as if it had been sitting a while before it came out. The meat was extremely bland. My wife got a burrito and said it was very bland. It was just shredded chicken wrapped in a tortilla. The food wasn't giving authentic Mexican. Now today my stomach is really upset and I've been using the bathroom constantly. Like I said I hate making reviews like this but I'm hoping that it reaches the owners so some changes can be made. The two stars is for the service. The two that were taking care of us were nice. It wasn't as if they gave us outstanding service it's just that they didn't give us horrible service. read more
