Sopapilla & ice cream (enough to share 2-3) & delicious!!

A beautiful meal very well served, and this location is no exception to the service and the quality and wonderfully warm and inviting like every other location of Los Dos Potrillos that I have been to the staff was kind and everything was fresh and generously served no complaints. My fajitas were not burnt they were not overcooked. The vegetables were nice and there was actually more meat than vegetables, which was surprising if you are in the Parker area and you like Mexican food, I would definitely recommend stopping in because you will not be disappointed and if you would like dessert, I highly recommend the sopapilla and ice cream if there are a few of you because it is large but sooo delicious!!

This was our first visit we chose the Parker restaurant. What a delightful experience! One of the newer restaurants everything inside was clean, gentle lighting, and well taken care of. At 4pm on a Tuesday seating not an issue and our waiter Diego was friendly and very knowledgeable of the offers. We had a few special adjustments to entrees which he happily accommodated. Chips and salsa on the table were crisp and tasty. Ordered the Los Dos Patrillos enchiladas which came with very fresh sidings and sauces. This is now our go-to for Mexican meals.

4.7/5 -- Los Dos Potrillos (Parker) Los Dos Potrillos is one of those spots that proves you can get great, consistent Mexican food without breaking the bank. Honestly, that sub-4.0 rating is a complete disservice to what this restaurant delivers -- the food is flat-out delicious, every single time. The service has always been solid for me, friendly, quick, and attentive. And the prices? Definitely reasonable, especially for the portion sizes and the quality of the food. If you're looking for a reliable Mexican spot in Parker that hits the mark every visit, this is it. Highly recommend.

Monterey chicken. Meat was 3" x 5" in size and pounded to 1/2" thickness. Skimpy. :(

Our cousins were visiting from out of town and wanted to meet here for dinner. I stopped coming to this restaurant many years ago because it was not good. Oh well. Maybe they improved? Nope. Unhappy, rude staff. NO sound attenuation. Very noisy, especially with the mariachi band. Seriously Gringo-type food. I was underwhelmed. Their chips and are one of the truly delicious items there. I ordered the grilled Monterey Chicken and the small, thinly pounded chicken breast arrived nice and hot with sautéed vegetables beneath but flavorless rice and gummy beans took up more room on my plate. Not worth a $21 entree. The chicken itself was fairly tasty but such a tiny piece of meat was sad. We ordered guacamole table side and it was prepared with far too many tomatoes and thus didn't have a good avocado flavor. Don't recommend it. My husband got the Chicken Ranchera but had to send it back because the potatoes were not cooked and it had no creamy sauce. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

This location of Los Dos Potrillos rules them all. I have been to other locations and they're great too. Maybe cause this one is our home base location it makes it that much more special? Who knows. Service has always been great and the feel of the restaurant reminds me of someone's giant house with a ton of friends. haha! Food and variety are certainly present and can satisfy just about any palette. Bring your friends, bring the family, or even sit at the bar on a solo trip. The everlasting flow of chips and salsa will set the tone. The staff will invite you in and set the pace. All you have to do is scarf down the food. Guess what? If you run out of food just order more!

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants for good reliable food. Their complimentary chips and salsa are amazing and the perfect amount of spice. I believe their tortillas and chips are homemade in-house and you can really taste the freshness. We love ordering the table side guacamole. My go-tos are the steak fajitas which come on a steaming hot plate with a generous plate of Mexican rice, beans, guac, sour cream, and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. Their carne asada is also very tasty.

Amazing Pazole! (Only available Friday-Sunday - and until they run out of! Service is hit or miss - I'm sure that when it's not busy, the service is probably exemplary - on a busy Sunday afternoon/evening, I think they were understaffed for the number of people in the restaurant. As a single diner, I was seated quickly at a high top in the bar area. It took a while for my server to come by although chips and salsa were delivered quickly. Having lots of time to look at the menu, I decided to have a passionfruit margarita and some posole. At first, my server was unsure if they still had any of the delicious soup, but he returned to say that they did, so I got a small bowl instead of the large,as he said, it was rather huge. The frozen passionfruit margarita was quite tasty. I got the "Small" and was glad I did after seeing the huge amount in the large glass being served to someone near me. The posole, when it arrived, was accompanied by cabbage, limes, onions, and radishes. Although not a huge serving, it was plenty for a light meal, especially after chips and salsa! And it was some of the best posole I have had in a long time! I look forward to bringing my husband here when we next come to Parker.

It looks like this restaurant got sold. The menu has been totally overhauled. Many favorites are now missing.?

Happy to clear it up! Los Dos has not been sold. We’re still owned and run by the same family - the Ramirez brothers, Danny and Luis, with our parents’ recipes at the heart of it. What changed is the menu: we tightened it to focus on our family…

Can you make a reservation for a birthday party of 8?

You could not make reservations, it's a first come first serve system.

    Do they serve breakfast?

    Yes, they do.

Are their tamales any good? exceptional, typical, so-so?

The breakfast burrito is amazing! Also the huevo rancheros!!

(ours was less than 10 minutes) It's worth the wait!! Heritage Cafe has a large menu with a variety of options to choose from. They have boozy brunch cocktails as well if you are so inclined- I was and ordered a Bloody Maria. This was delicious as was the strip of bacon that came with the drink. Yum! We also gave their cinnamon roll a shot, and were very pleased with the gooey, deliciousness of this baked good! I tried the chilaquiles for my main entree and was pleasantly impressed. I did order my eggs sunny side up, and well, they tried but they came out a little over cooked-no biggie though. Our server was very nice and kept tabs on us frequently throughout our meal- this was very much appreciated!
