I absolutely love this place. Family owned and the food is delicious. Their salsa is perfectly spicy (green onions really throw it over the edge) and tortilla chips are always warm- I could eat just that when I come. Anything smothered in their green chili is mouthwatering. If you aren't in mood for green chili- my family's absolute favorite is their steak tacos. I cannot even express how good these are. I love this place. Their chili relleno's and chicken enchilada is superb. They have great salsa and chips which are delivered to your table quickly. The service staff are friendly and quick. My other favorite is their Santa Fe chili relleno that is stuffed with chicken and cheese with green chili over the whole thing or their tacos. And reasonably priced. read more

We asked for some grilled jalapeños and they were perfectly prepared and tasty. The waitress was engaging, attentive and very friendly. Our waitress was awesome: she helped us out and also brought out more chips and salsa for my kid when she didn't want to eat a full meal. Margaritas were 2 for the price of 1. I got a sampler entree that had a taco, rice, beans, flouta, chile relleno, and one more item I can't recall. They all went well together and I was stuffed afterwards. It's the ONLY place to eat Mexican food in Parker! We lived in Parker for almost 13 years before moving to Western CO and it is a must stop every single time we come back to visit family. I'm doing a mediterranean diet this week so this shrimp salad with chips, salsa and a margarita were delicious and very close to perfect for my diet. We come in frequently and never had an issue up until our last visit. The server input a $30 tip when we had written in an $18 tip. The server did not want to provide our copy of our signed receipt until we threatened to talk to a manager. The server could not explain why, or what happened. He told us it wasn't a big deal and we were furious! Make sure to take pictures of your signed copy and check your bank statements. We were also double charged. Our original tab and then our tab with a $30 tip. We talked to the manager over the phone and he did not apologize or explain why the server gave himself a 30% tip. This restaurant is very quaint and located in a strip mall so parking is abundant. You get salsa and chips when you sit down and the salsa is remarkable. I had ordered the combo plate with a chili relleno, taco and enchilada. The flavors were wonderful and savory. Wish I could have said it for the taco and chili relleno. The waitress asked if I wanted beef and I said yes. But not knowing it was just ground beef. Then the shell was just a hard (Taco Bell) type of a shell. I have had many chili rellenos and this was terrible. It was hard and you couldn't taste the chili only cheese. The enchilada and rice and beans saved the plate. We were the last customers of their evening.. Which means they were mopping the floor right next to us.. Maybe wait a few more minutes until we left the restaurant. Our first time to this little spot on Parker. We went around 5:45pm a little before the dinner rush. We found a booth by the bar. The server (forgot his name) greeted us right away. Order strawberry margaritas to start the huge ones. Very tasty. All the food was delicious. The green Chile fries were honestly the best ones I have ever had. We found our new favorite Mexican food spot for sure. The server was super friendly and before dinner rush is perfect. It's so quiet. Things that are great: Carne Asada, Carnitas, tamales, burritos Things that are really bad: Taquitos plate - Supposedly 4 of each, but really it was 2 of each cut in half. So look, I probably shouldn't share this part, but I go to this place early, on weekends, when I need to soak in some fatty foods from the night before. So, this waiter, early in the morning says after I order my bowl of menudo, with a side of rice and beans "okay, but if you really want to eat like a Mexican, you need a shot of tequila." This is before 8 o'clock, which isn't even legal in Colorado. I told him I didn't need this so early in the morning, and he didn't push. But I did appreciate the offer. I have been here several times with my family. We all are huge Mexican food fans and can be slightly particular about it. My parents live south of Parker and have been to other Mexican restaurants in the area that they didn't like, but all three of us, along with my aunt and uncle, really like Old Santa Fe. The staff are always friendly, and their salsa as well as their refried beans are especially tasty. They'll occasionally get an order slightly wrong. For example, last time we went, my enchilada and burrito had green chile instead of red. But I ended up liking the green chile, so all was well. Food came out 15mins later completely cold to the touch, zero heat or sreeam from 3 entrees?.. How long did it sit around before someone found it and brought it out? Completely unacceptable considering the place had ~10 dine in guests and at least 3 people bringing orders out. For nearly 2 years I have given this place the benefit of the doubt; assuming COVID shutdowns, conversion to take out, staffing hardships..
